How to disable "linked" library filesOpen for Voting

After the latest "update" to photoshop, whenever I drag an item from the library to a document I'm working on a popup comes up saying it is now a "linked" file and if I want to place it as a copy, I have to hold the ALT key down while dragging it from the library.  What I need to know is how do I turn this stupidity off? I'm extremely aggravated that I now have to go to the extra step of remembering to hold the ALT key down while dragging something from the library. This is stupid, just turn the crap OFF and never have to do it again.  I have looked at every option in the preferences and there is nothing to turn this junk off in there. Adobe needs to STOP arbitrarily changing things and screwing with people. If you implement something, turn it off and show a ONE TIME pop up telling people they can turn it on IF THEY WANT TO. Just stop turning CRAP on that nobody wants.  This is the dialog box that pops up. It never came up before this latest update. I'm not sure if it was becasue of the lastest update to photoshop or to the latest update to the CC App. I updated both at the same time so it could be either one of them. This is a change and I need to know how to reverse it. And Holding the ALT key down every frigging time is NOT an option... And right clicking on it in the library panel and choosing "place layers" is NOT an option either. I need to know how to turn this absolute stupidity off PERMENANTLY and never have to mess with it again.   It was not this way a couple of weeks ago. Two or three weeks ago I could drag anything from the library panel and it wasn't "linked" at all. It was a copy of the image, as a smart object, but it wasn't places as a stupid "linked" object in the library. I could even delete it from my library after dragging it into a document and it was still in my document and there was no "missing asset" warning when I opened the file again. So it wasn't linked for me anyway, but now it is and I am really aggravated that they turned that junk on and I have no obvious way to turn it off.

Please can you enable embedding for published Express videosOpen for Voting

I realise this is not the same type of embed obviously, but as an Embed SDK user I would like to request that you enable embedding of published express projects via links. You can currently publish a video for public sharing via a link.e.g. https://new.express.adobe.com/published/urn:aaid:sc:EU:50202e3c-53be-44e8-9d4f-e91ce4c23b0b?promoid=Y69SGM5H&mv=other But that link does not allow you to embed it in an iframe. It gives an error because you have a block on embedding Express assets on other domains. It used to be possible until last year as I understand it, and then it was turned off around the time of GA for new Express. I thought maybe it was something that was forgotten, or a decision that was made without understanding the consequences. It is very unhelpful and unusual to have a published link that cannot be embedded. This would be incredibly powerful for our workflow – we are able to embed videos from every other social platform by using the published links. We love people to return assets to our app, but we would also like to be able to embed published assets. This would also help with an important add-on workflow that we are trying to design. I know you are all off next week, but could you add it to the feature request list as an item for urgent consideration as soon as possible? Thanks, Ru

SRT exports from Caption panel includes style info in text by defaultOpen for Voting

Premiere Pro 24.3Mac OS Ventura 13.6.6When exporting a SRT file through the Caption panel's three dot menu, there is no ability to select whether text styles should be included, and the default behavior is that the text style is included. This results in HTML-style tags being visible before each line of the subtitle text, when the SRT file is played back in most online video players. In the standard video Export function, or when exporting via Media Encoder, there is a checkbox under Captions that allows you to turn off the text style tags for the SRT sidecar file. This is crucial, because otherwise, any applied style information will appear as HTML-style tags on each line of the text, and most online video players that can accept SRT format will not automatically remove these tags; they just see them as part of the subtitle, and displays (what appears to the viewer to be) garbage text before every phrase. However, the Caption panel does NOT offer this, and thus exports only SRTs with styles applied. This means that the Caption panel export function is not usable for creating SRT files--it is useful to be able to export from here to update or correct captions, instead of re-exporting a new file from Premiere or via Media Encoder, just to get a new SRT file. Please add a simple text style on/off checkbox to the Caption Panel's export function, matching the functionality of the Export Media function, so that subtitles can be exported in a usable way from this panel.

P: Crop sync option equivalent to layer alignments in PhotoshopOpen for Voting

I am a wildlife photographer and I tend to end up with long series of the subject which I slightly different in pose of the main subject but the background is largerly the same. Well, no, not the same. Because, if those photos were made handheld, which they very frequently are, the whole backgrounds are shifted in directions.   What I do now - I manually edit one photo and crop it to fit the composition requirements, then sync it across the series, then >>> go and move the cropping window for other photos to match the original composition <<<. At this point I'll review the result and throw to the trash 90% of images. The rest 10% require more tuning. I may tend to apply fine tuning of the cropping again, for the serries to not look as obviously handheld [as it really was], matching original photo more.   The first round of crop matching is heavy because of many images. The second round of crop matching is heavy because of complicated fine tunings, which lightroom is not helping much right now.   Sync Crop implemented in a way of Layer Alignment feature across multiple images would help saving a lot of work on both stages.   Composition of the final image depend on both background part of the image and the subject (its pose, its looking direction, etc.). When you are shooting at 15fps for several seconds the choice of composition based on background may be dominating factor for large parts of the series.   As far as I can tell, layers alignment is more based on background alignment, rather than subject minor movement. And that is what the request is focusing on.   There is another feature request: this one. It is more focused on subject movement for crop synchronization. I tend to believe that subject moving across the scene will bring more considerations on cropping to integrate background chnage into a composition. Thus, would be less useful [unless ML can be taught to do it magically right]. FIrst round of crop matching might be simplified to some extent, but fine tuning will definitely stay in place.

P: Custom Camera Profiles from Preset Pack not usable on IpadOpen for Voting

Hello, I recently purchased a preset pack, RNI All Films 4. The presets come in XMP format and each one comes with customized profiles in DCP format. There is no way to get these DCP profiles to work on my IPad. I have already imported the presets and profiles to my Desktop Lightroom CC (Not classic). Only the XMP presets show up under the presets menu, but the profiles don't show up on any mobile devices. This renders the effectiveness of the presets. I have tried to edit a photo on the desktop and then try to open it on the IPad and it tells me the profile is missing and I must switch to a standard profile (such as Adobe Color) to continue editing. I have tried many different times and combinations of uninstalling and reinstalling the app and desktop versions.   It is very frustrating to deal with this, as I am trying to go mobile and use the IPad as my main workflow device.   I was able to make it work on my phone because android has the option to let you import presets and profiles to the device. But iOS does not have that function. Please add the ability to import presets and profiles to the IPad soon! The IPad also doesn't let you organize profiles as well. This is a much needed function for IPad users. It renders many preset useless on the IPad to not be able to import/use DCP profiles.   I am running the latest version of Lightroom Mobile iOS (v 9.0). I have contacted support and they said they have let the developers know. I wanted to post here as well to put it on the record, and to see if anyone has any ideas/possible ways to make this work.    Thank you very much!
