I've shared a review link from my adobe acrobat on my MacBook. I'm pretty sure I chose the comment option as "anyone on the internet with the link can comment", but after a while I shared it automatically changes to "only invited people can comment" Any ideas on what I should do? Thanks

Every year (once) I install and run an InDesign calendar wizard. It doesn't have an installation file, I normally just copy it to plugins.  Running InDesign 2025 on Windows 11, I cannot see any way to execute the JS file... Nothing useful in the plugins menu/panel (what are they there for anyway?). I can't seem to find a way to just execute the JS.  Help please!

I've hit a problem that you may be able to help with. I've embedded 4 youtube videos into my interactive brochure and created a pop-up animation screen that appears with the embedded video link appears when the play button is clicked. There is a close button, that reverses the animated pop-up screen back to the home page. My problem is that after the closed button is clicked and the pop-ups disengage, if I try to click a different button on my home page, the youtube navigations are still engaged from the previously closed pop-up video (i.e I'll try to click the next page button and the previously closed video will start to play or skip the video ahead 10 seconds etc...) is there anyway around this problem? When I click the close button, I want all the youtube controls to be completely disengaged until the video play button is clicked again. I know I could do this with an embedded video file but I can't figure out how to do it with a embedded video link. Thanks ahead for your

Hi,The text in my document in the standard BLACK and I want to change to another color.I have over 30 pages of text in the standar BLACK but the Find/Change tool does not find it. I have made sure nothing is selected.Any help?Thanks

I have an 80-page document that I have been working on for the past couple of months. This week I was instructed to add a new section. I added the new pages; then I added the text. Now that I need to format and edit my content, highlighting text does not show on screen. Oddly, this is only the case past page 80. It works fine on all other pages. I can click and drag or double-click to highlight, and it shows up just fine.I am working on a Windows 11 system, and I have the most recent updates for InDesign.

Hola,He creado un documento interactivo en indesing con galerías de imágenes a partir de Estados de Objetoscon botones para navegar que te llevan al siguiente estado o al estado anterior, todo funciona correctamente cuando realizo una previsualizacion desde indesing, pero cuando lo exporto como un PDF interactivo la galería de imagen no funciona, la accion de los  botones funcionan bien, pero no puedo ver  la galería de imagenes. Agradeceria mucho cualquier informacion que pueda ayudarme a solucionar el problema. Saludos.  

I jsut want to work on my book. Every so often atleast at like 25~30 mins the program is crashing, lagging or not repsoding and making my whole mac studio lock up.  What is the whole issue with this program? Is adobe actually fixing anyhting that wrong with it? If i have to switch to some oher program i will but i have about 67% of a book finished and his program is making it even harder to work.    

For example:My current document is A.indd, which has a style TitleA, TitleA has inherited the body paragraph style.Now, I also want TitleA to get some settings from TitleB in B.indd.The fastest way, perhaps, is to copy TitleB directly into A.indd.Or, use import styles.But that would bring in a lot of stuff I don't need, maybe I just need the Grep settings in TitleB, and the font size. Sometimes this need occurs in the same documentAny ideas, or scripts, or something?

Been looking for a long time and there's not a single bit of usable information.There are too few scripts for image or text box isometric scaling suitable for columns, centers, and margins.Am I searching the wrong way?It's a bit sad.It's becoming a demonic condition in my mind. It would be great if Adobe would someday be self-contained.

As you can see below, when I click the OK button after setting the width to 8 inches and height to 6 inches (which are equal to the page size) the content in brown and the text frames don´t adjust to the new page size. I´m following step by step the videos in indesign tutorials and I can´t see where the problem comes from. Could anyone help to solve this problem?Thank you so much for your helpIgnacio

Hello, I am working on Adobe indesign for my university course making a demo-poster of my work during the semester. My professor included instructions on how to add a text box and that the requirements must have 14pt minimum, serif or sans serif and she also recommended to widen the linespacing to feel less cluttered.As you can see in the file that I provided below, my font size is set to 14 but the font appears to be jumbo sized (not "downtown reimagining"- this too is the incorrect font as it is set to 10pt). I just want to know how to fix this issue, also I read that I can scale my text but do not know how to confirm if it was done properly. Also my scaling preferences in the general setting are... (scaling is applied to content)FYI if I get a response past 11pm it will be too late as it is due.Thanks in advance. 

As stated above I should be able to install and run InDesign on my computer. However Adobe will not let me download it as it says i dont meet the minnimum requirments. I checked my PC and it does meet the requirments yet I continue to get the same message. Also really annoying that Adobe places this message after I already put in my credit card information. You couldn't have bothered to tell me it wont work before I give you money? kinda scummy

I am an InDesign Plugin developer and in the new release of InDesign CC 2025 I found a new feature which export a document as an HTML5 package using as followsExport as an HTML5 or File > publish online > export html5 package    But I could not find any documentation in InDesign SDK or in scripting api how we could export a document as an HTML5 package. Looking input either using scripting api or some service that we need to handle in sdk pluginAny help here will be appreciated. 

So this is my text. Do you know how to tell InDesign to have zero first line indent only for the first paragraph? Obviously, I could apply a second paragraph style only for the first paragraph, but it would be quicker for me to have only one paragraph style for my document. Hello!   : )I really hope someone can help me, or redirect me in the right way.  I want to print a book with size A6 pages for my nepfew.  I'll use jpeg images for each individual page. I can do this by  placing 4 images manually on 1 page in a sertain way so they can be imposed with the next page, but is it possible to just add them all ( for example 150 jpegs )  consecutively and then the InDesign somehow make them all imposed?    Thanks!   

I am building a project on my new machine havingOSX as 14.2.1 and XCode is 15.4 using InDesign CC2025 sdkbut getting following errorld: file not found: @rpath/ASLSupportLib.dylib for architecture arm64and in warning I see following - ld: warning: dylib (../../../build/mac/release_cocoa64/packagefolder/contents/macos/InDesignModel.framework/InDesignModel) was built for newer macOS version (11.1) than being linked (11.0) Can anyone help me how to fix it

One of my .indd file is not opening. No error message showing. Works well with other files.

With version 19 (2024) and before, the Document Grid lines consisted of two different thicknesses of lines. There were thicker lines for the "Grid" and thinner lines for the "subdivisions." In a parallel with countour lines on a topographic map, I think of those thicker lines as "index lines." I referenced them all the time for page layout. But, with version 20 (2025) all of the lines look the same, making my page layout tasks much harder. When viewing a spread, I often can't tell where the fold in the center is. I looked through all of the menus trying to find a way to bring these back, but couldn't. If I get close to the screen, and squint, I think I can tell the difference between the index lines and the subdivision lines. Maybe. Sometimes. Is this a bug or a feature?

Bonjour à tous,Voici la situation sur laquelle je bug :Sur inDesign : J'ai un fichier ouvert. Les pages ont une image de fond genre parchemin. Je veux importer un image .tif avec transparence. Au moment de l'import de l'image (silouette d'une femme avec transparence autour) les deux image "parchemin" de la planche devient fades. J'efface l'image importée et elles deviennent normales.Image: C'est une .png RGB d'une silhouette de femme avec fond blanc. Transformée en greyscale et aux dimensions du bloc de indesign en 300dpi. J'ai effacé le fond blanc afin d'avoir la transparence. Sauvegarde une copie en tant que .tif avec transparence.Importée dans inDesign et bug.Cela fait des heures que je tourne en rond.Merci pour l'aide.

I'd like to find a phrase of Greek letters within non-Greek text. This following GREP uses the "or" operator, the two main Greek Unicode sets and a third grouping that includes a space and some punctuation:([\x{0370}-\x{03FF}]|[\x{1F00}-\x{1FFE}]|[ ,­’])+This works except that: 1, It finds spaces that aren't within Greek letters, and 2, It selects the spaces on either side of the Greek phrase. I'd like it to NOT find spaces that don't have a Greek character on either side of them and I don't want it to select the spaces before and after the phrase. So I don't want this selection:But I'd like this selection: The goal is a search and replace to apply the Greek language, and it's important that the spaces and punctuation within the Greek phrase also get the lanugage set. Is this even possible? Thanks for any insight,Ken

Hi, I am working on simple vector graphics/Diagrams for a book layout that will be done in InDesign. The book is intended for print and will not include any colors. Is it an issue if the graphics have different opacities? It wouldnt be lower than 50%.  Thank you for any help!

Is there a setting that allows to automatically update the modified links, in order to avoid the repeated and repetitive actions of: go to the panel, go to the tab, select the file and press synchronize? I work in a file that contains many Illustrator links, which I must frequently adapt as the text is modified, then, I go to one and return to another, I go to one and return to another... I guess I can't avoid that, but having to manually update each link each time it is modified... it is cumbersome, inefficient and ineffective, so it would be very helpful for my work to know how to update the links automatically. I tried to find this configuration in the panel options, in the linked file menu, and in Preferences > File Management > Links, but I did not find it or could not identify it; what I did find in this last location, with a similar function for the sources, was: Auto-activate Abode sources, I would have imagined that in Links, there was: Update links automatical

I have made a large document some of it is typed out in indesign, but the biggest portion is pdf's that I have placed into indesign. About half of the pdf's have hyperlinks and on some of them when they are placed into indesign the links break. I open the pdfs with the broken links individually in adobe acrobat and the links work, but when I place them in indesign the links no longer show-up. I can see some of the pdfs links work and I see them in the hyperlinks panel.  There are a lot of links so I don't really want to manually put them in in indesign.  I'm not really understanding why some of the pdfs with hyperlinks work and some don't. They are all put in the same way. Any suggestions?
