pessoal estou com um problema em uma página. O programa trava quando chego nela e fecha... alguém pode me ajudar

Bonjour, Je rencontre des soucis d'affichage sur indesign, quand je branche mon MacBook Pro sur mon écran en USBC ou sur une TV en HDMI tout est ok, mais quand je le débranche des écrans, mes fichiers ne sont plus visible sur mon MAcBook, j'ai un écran tout gris, malgré plusieur essais d'affichage, toujours pareil, je suis obligé de quitté Indesign et de réouvrir mon fichier.Avez vous déjà rencontré ce soucis et avez vous l'explication ou la solution ?Merci d'avance !! 

When using InDesign over the last few days, I keep getting an error message that "InDesign is unable to save this file. We tried but it appears to be damaged." This has happened on multiple files all day long and I've lost work most times. Sometimes InDesign will crash and send an error report (and then sometimes my files will be restored) other times there's nothing I can do but close the file without saving my work. It's probably happened 15 different times today on several different documents both new and old and it's getting VERY frustrating. I've had this issue before more than a year ago and it miraculously got better when there was some kind of update. I really can't work in InDesign if this continues because these files are not damaged, InDesign just has some kind of issue. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!! Also...for the record, Adobe Rush crashes ALL the time too. Please fix your programs!

InDesign does not allow you to set up a custom page size and export the PostScript unless a printer is installed. The custom size option under File > Print Booklet > Print Settings > Setup > Paper Size is greyed out. I'm trying to resize a page (dst) to the dimensions of a master page (src), this is what finally works:       function copyPageMetrics(src, dst) { var bounds = src.bounds; dst.resize(BoundingBoxLimits.GEOMETRIC_PATH_BOUNDS, AnchorPoint.TOP_LEFT_ANCHOR, ResizeMethods.REPLACING_CURRENT_DIMENSIONS_WITH, [bounds[3]*2.8346, bounds[2]*2.8346]); }       I have the correct coordinates in bounds[3],bounds[2] (checked that with an alert()), but they didnt gave me the correct resize. To get the correct rresize, I had to multiply them with 2.8346, which is the factor of points in a mm.Why? Why dont they use the same coordinate system? Is this always the case or do I have to get a page-specific translation-factor from somewhere?<Title renamed by MOD>

Hello everyone, So I've been facing an issue for a while now with the latest version of InDesign (19.0), every time I try to export to PDF an error box saying: possible cause of failure present on spread with page number "23" ", shows up and won't allow me to export to PDF. Anyone might have a solution for this, it's really annoying. I tried so many things including deleting the page itself but the error for the same page nb. keeps appearing!! so I know It has nothing to do with the content on the specific page mentioned.HELP PLEASE!!! this is affecting my work, and thank you!   <Title renamed by MOD>

Buonasera, scrivo per sapere se sarà mai possibile l'tilizzo, la modifica e il salvataggio in contemporanea da più persone del team dello stesso file indd. Senza conflitti del programma. Sarebbe una svolta nel flusso di lavoro per collaborare attivamente ai progetti.

I found a handy javascript online for Indesign that changes the page label color to green – which is great. I often color code my pages with green or red labels to keep track of client selects and as a script I can map these commands to keyboard shortcuts. Does anyone know how to ammend the script to reset the color label to the default label color of none?: app.activeWindow.activePage.pageColor = UIColors.GREEN; 

Since the last ID upgrade, when I switch back and forth between ID and other apps, sometimes when I return to ID all my docs are blank. I've tried resizing, switching views, and assorted other jiggling. Eventually something randomely works. Just got a new Mac Studio with 64GB of RAM, so I would think this is enough to run ID.   Any ideas how to fix? Thanks, Laura   <Title renamed by MOD>

Hi,I think I'm probably missing something really obvious here but I have a PSD file set up at 900x450px at 300dpi and I have an indesign document set up 'for web' at 900x450px but when I place the photoshop file in indesign it is much smaller than the indesign document. Please can someone explain to me why? Ultimately and cancreate the whole file in Photoshop so it doesn't matter but it would be nice to understand what I am missing!Thanks

Hello,I have created a document with 2 kind of objects.1. Text2. SVGBoth are supposed to be in the same black. However,the although the SVG are in the desired black, the text is not.The SVG inherits the Black from the File and the text is set to Black (C = 0, M=0, Y=0, K=100)It looks like this... I am creating a catalog for a retail chain. I need help with inserting photos (for photos, I have a code under which I search for images on Google Drive, download them and put them in indesign), how to speed them up so that I don't have to insert them individually. I insert the text by connecting each frame and insert excel into indesign, connect each column, copy and paste. Is it possible to achieve something like that with pictures? I am unable to figure out what is happening with some of my dialog boxes that are pinned. Specifially gradient, paragraph and character boxes. They are all empty whether anything is selected or not. I have tried removing and re-pinning and that does not work either. Force quitting and restarting the app also does not work.   Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a solution? Hello, everyone! Looking for someone who has experience in creating interactive forms with InDesign. The form works fine in Acrobat, but I have a problem with displaying the font correctly on other pdf readers, for example, opening it in Chrome. I have attached examples how it should look like and how it opens in chrome. It seems like it has a problem with special characters. I have tried this with multiple fonts and none of them open correctly in chrome. It is important that this form works on most, if not all, pdf readers and Chrome might be a popular choice. Is there a way of embedding fonts in forms? Or am I missing something in settings? Any help would be appreciated.       <Title renamed by MOD>

Can someone help? I created a doc in Indesign that has a few links I created that opens up these pop ups. The only thing is, that these black doted outlines are showing up on my pdf. Is there a way to hide these? I have no animations attached to these also.  Attached is a sample.      <Title renamed by MOD>

Pre-flight shows that an illustrator vector image has too low effective resolution, however there's no way to change this, as there is no effective resolution ofr vector files.  It tells me the fix is to "correct the resolution in the source file."  Which is not possible from what I can see.   It also shows "strole weight too small", for 4 AI files, none of which have any strokes.  So I guess a weight of 0 is too small?  It tells me the effective stroke is 0.187 though...   It also gives me numerous bleed and trim hazards, however none of them are close to safe margins even.  And many of them are not even visible. Also, clicking on the page number doesn't go to that page, and doesn't highlight that item...   Overall, the pre-flight seems to be pretty broken at the moment!     <Title renamed by MOD>

Bonjour, Je souhaite importer du texte depuis un tableur. L'importation marche bien avec le fichier .xlsx enregistré depuis Excel. Mais.. lorsque j'utilise le même fichier, cette fois enregistré depuis Google Sheet (même extension .xlsx), ou encore depuis openOffice (en .xls cette fois ci), InDesign m'affiche un message d'erreur : "Impossible d'importer ce fichier. Aucun filtre n'a été trouvé pour exécuter l'opération demandée."Et l'importation ne se fait pas... Je n'ai pas trouvé de soution sur internet. L'idée c'est d'éviter de passer par Excel. Si quelqu'un a une idée je suis preneuse! Je suis sur la version InDesign 19.5 à jourMerci pour votre aide 🙂

I'm working on a document that's a bit different from conventional, it's a storyboard.So there are multiple pages on a single spread for each row of the storyboard.The issue I'm running into, is that the active page is somewhat unpredictable.I'm creating a function to add a panel (essentially a page) via script, because I need it to set up some specific elements and connect the text directly and so on... The problem, is that unless I'm fully zoomed in on a page, and even if I double-click, the current active page is sort of random. It tends to be the one that is in the center of the page.Has anybody run into a similar issue or has a workaround? 

I'm working on a file for a storyboard and I need to have a few pages in each spread so they work as rows.The problem I run into, is that I had to create a script to reorganize the pages in the spreads because InDesign apparently can only reorder the spreads automatically when you have a 2 page spread.I mean, if I want to have a 5 page spread, I'd expect to be able to add a page after the 5th and it would create a new spread, so if I move things around it would respect that limit, like it does with 2.Am I missing something?Or it's just a feature lacking?

Bonjour, je mets très régulièrement en pages des catalogues avec en moyenne 500 lots qui ont chacun 1 photo et 1 bloc texte non chaîné. Chaque bloc texte commence par un numéro que je renseigne en toute fin de mise en page ("N° 1 - exemple"). Existe-il une numérotation automatique qui renseignerait le "N° -" du premier bloc de la page 1 au dernier du catalogue, ce qui m'éviterais de les remplir manuellement, un gain de temps pour moi serait.Par avance merci.
