Hallo zusammen,ich habe seit einiger Zeit ein wiederkehrendes Problem mit InDesign:Beim erneuten Öffnen meiner Dokumente werden diese regelmäßig nur schreibgeschützt geladen. Dadurch ist die Funktion „Speichern“ deaktiviert, und ich kann die Dateien nicht unter dem gleichen Namen sichern, sondern muss sie jedes Mal neu anlegen.Das ist besonders ärgerlich im Zusammenhang mit Review-Links, weil ich durch die ständigen neuen Dateinamen auch ständig neue Links erzeugen und verschicken muss. Eine fortlaufende Kommentarfunktion für die Kollegen ist dadurch nicht möglich.Rahmenbedingungen:Die Dateien liegen lokal auf meinem Rechner bzw. auf unserem Server.In den Dateieigenschaften ist kein Schreibschutz gesetzt.Ich bin alleinige Nutzerin und habe die Dateien nicht mehrfach geöffnet.InDesign CC – aktuellste Version (21.0 x64).Frage:Ist das Problem bereits bekannt? Gibt es eine Lösung oder ein bevorstehendes Update, das diesen Bug behebt?Danke vorab!

I have set up a masterpage for use in a long report containing hundreds of tables and diagrams. I have used fitting options to have the object ( diagram placed from a pdf) size proportionally at a click when placing the object. This workes fine, but the dotted frame (from the master) disappear. If I for some reason need to go back, I have no placeholder to reference my object. I cannot find how to make it reappear? If I try to reapply the masterpage again, the placed object disappear and I have to place it again from start (Ctrl+D). Is there an answer to this, or do I just have to adjust my "workflow" to overcome this problem? The aim is to place very many diagrams without having to manually adjust/size them all.Thanks 

Buenos días,Llevo varios días intentando averiguar a qué se debe pero no soy capaz de dar con la clave. El caso es que cuando abro cualquier archivo, incluso uno nuevo, en InDesign me aparecen todas las herramientas bloqueadas excepto Notas y Texto por lo que solo puedo realizar acciones con estas dos herramientas.He probado cambiando de espacio de trabajo y nada. No sé me ocurre qué hacer, si alguien puede darme una solución, se lo agradezco.Trabajo con InDesign CC 2017 en Windows 10 Pro.

Halloich möchte gerne PDF-Kommentare in InDesign importieren. Ich gehe über "Fenster - Kommentare - PDF Kommentare", dann erscheint das Feld "PDF-Kommentare importieren". Wenn ich die Datei auswähle kommt die Meldung " Die PDF-Datei wurde nicht aus InDesign erstellt. Wählen Sie eine andere PDF-Datei aus, um fortzufahren." Kann mir jemand helfen wie ich vorgehen muss, um die Kommentare in InDesign zu sehen?Danke

Buenos días,Desde que instalé la versión 21.0.1 de InDesign estoy teniendo problemas con la impresión de trazos cuando están hechos con puntos. Al hacer el PDF de impresión aparecen, pero cuando imprimo salen en blanco. ¿A alguien le ha ocurrido? ¿Sabéis cómo arreglarlo?Gracias.

My software recently updated to Adobe InDesign 2026 on Windows 11. Whenever I try opening an InDesign document now, I receive a dialog box with the error message "Adobe InDesign 2026 has encountered a problem and needs to close." The program then closes.   I've sent multiple reports. I've updated Windows 11 to the most recent version. I've tried running InDesign as an administrator. Nothing seems to work.   Has anyone else experienced this issue? What can be done here?     <Title renamed by MOD>

Voici le message qui s'affiche : ce document contient des liens vers des fichiers et des url qui ne sont pas accessibles.  Veuillez vérifier la connectivité de votre réseau ou la source originale du contenu. Même message quand je veux exporter en PDF.Autre type de message en pièce jointe.Je ne trouve pas de réponse sur les pages d'aide Adobe.Quelqu'un peut m'aider ?

InDesign 2025 lässt sich nicht auf mehreren Monitoren anzeigen. Ich starte InDesign auf meinem Laptop kann es dann aber nicht auf den angeschlossenen Monitor verschieben. Mit Photoshop bspw. geht es. Woran kann das liegen?   InDesign 2025 cannot be displayed on multiple monitors. I start InDesign on my laptop but cannot move it to the connected monitor. It works with Photoshop, for example. I've been using InDesign for four years now and have never encountered this problem. After entering and exiting presentation mode with Shift + W, the entire InDesign window resizes to about half of my screensize. I've tried searching for similar questions from others and can't find anything exact. How can I fix this?

When the action windows are arranged on the side of the screen in the workspace, occasionally, in a completely random manner, clicking on them does not open the required action window. They can only be used if they float in window (which of course complicates the work). The problem is solved independently after a long time or by restarting the software. The POPUP-STICK WINDOW DON'T OPEN Only if I DETACH it.*The problem is intermittent. And that's a real problem. 

HelloI searched and couldn't found any solution about this. Seems like an old issue and still not solved. I have Table of Contents and it creates bookmarks in project file when I updated the ToC.I also have buttons in my master pages (or parent pages). So these buttons link to each other master pages to quickly switch between subjects. When I create the button I pick the target from the bookmark list that ToC created. It works well until I update the ToC!All button links are breaking and in the project file all buttons automatically select the first bookmark from the bookmark list. None of any button is working. The only way, I update ToC first and re-link all buttons and then export to pdf file.Do you have any idea or solution? Thanks 

Hello. I want to have a preeflight for indesign that only checks visible objects.We have alot of hidden objects due to we work with a plugin Easy Catalog and its able to change things (for example price bubble/market bubble) depending on different variables. I cant see you have that option when you set up an preeflight option.Would it be possible to write/program a specific one that meets this demand?Best regards Mattias

Hola, He instalado de nuevo el programa indesign debido a un problema que tuve con el ordenador. Y ahora cuando que intento retomar el trabajo en el mismo punto donde lo dejé , abro el documento indesign y cuando quiero editar el texto, tanto de una tabla como caja de texto, al escribir o hacer un espacio o cualquier cosa, todo el texto se desplaza hacia abajo, como pueden ver el el video que adjunto.Estoy usando exactamente la misma fuente que antes y el mismo estilo de carácter, todo exactamente igual, pero no se como evitar que haga esto y porque lo hace..., pero no puedo seguir trabajando si me hace esto.  ¿Alguna idea de que puede ser y como solucionarlo?¿Muchas gracias!

Since upgrading to the latest version of InDesign I am no longer able to add items to a library.  It wants me to migrate my libraries to Creative Cloud, but I would prefer these files live in the same Dropbox folder on my computer in which my .indd project files reside. I use this feature heavily for icons and symbols used in my publication and I'd like to find a solution for this.As you can see above, the add item and delete item icons are greyed out. Hi all. Somehow my InDesign window got dragged up behind the apple menu at top of the screen...I can't move, expand or minimize it at all. I closed / reopened and rebooted my Mac with no luck. Can anyone help me please? This is my work computer and I am at a standstill! Thanks!    

I have flowed a Word document into Indesign, and attempted to convert the Times Roman fonts to Adobe Garamond Premier Pro. No character or paragraph style has been applied. However, the Garamond fonts become superscript of their own accord. If I then select the fonts and deselect "superscript" the font changes to Arial.

Some years ago I used to work with InDesign. Now I am trying the updated program for free. I  want to save my new files on the computer, I am not at all interesed to store it in the Cloud. Why does  the system force me to save it  in the cloud?    

I am in the early stages of planning a company virtual conference for designers. Ideally I would like to get an Adobe representative to come on and do some live, virtual training on agreed topics in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Is this something that Adobe would do and how do I go about getting in contact with someone to get more details?

Hello, I have been frustrated working with InDesign book. I have an InDesign book that has 18 Indd doc within.  And I have a main TOC that links to each chapter in the book, which is separated by each indd doc.After I packaged the book doc into another folder, and exported a PDF from that packaged folder into an interactive PDF, my TOC links stopped working. I have to open my TOC doc in that new packaged folder, and updated the TOC again in order for it to be working. This also happens to the button links that I have. I have a main link on top of each doc that will make ppl easily click to jump to different doc withou having to go back to the main TOC. These links stopped working in the newly packaged folder. All of the TOC links and the button links are all working already in the other doc. From a logical point of view, this shouldn't be happening as when packaging the book should be the way to do it. The reason I have to package the book is because
