Lightroom Classic

Hi there, While trying to use the color picker found within the Color Grading panel, an alert popped-up with the message:  “Adobe Lightroom Classic” is requesting to bypass the system private window picker and directly access your screen and audio. This will allow Adobe Lightroom Classic to record your screen and system audio, including personal or sensitive information that may be visible or audible. I guess it is needed so we can inspect the colors on the image we are working on, but I don't understand why such a broad permission is needed, as the image is shown within the confines of Lightroom app. As I understand from the message, we are granting Lightrrom permission to record our screen and audio system-wide, so whichever other application is open, Lightroom could access it's contents displayed on screen. If somebody knows the reason and could explain it to me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot in advance! 

This problem just started today.  First noticed the problem when trying to export.  As soon as export is selected, LR stops responding and becomes non-responsive.  The only way out is to Force Quit the program.  Even if LR is started, and then I try to exit the program, it hangs up and I have to do a Force Quit.Ive tried deleting LR from the CC app and reinstalling it, to no avail.  I've tried downgrading to an earlier version and same thing happens.  I can't create a new catalog or switch to another catalog without it hanging.  I have no idea where to go from here!Macbook Pro 15-inch, 2018Processor: 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MBMemory: 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

Something really strange just happened. I have a folder with subfolders , each containing several hundred photos. I was working in one of the subfolders, which contained a mixture of PNG, JPG, and JXL photos. Of the 350 photos, 14 were PNG. Here's a breakdown: I filtered to show only PNG files.Selected all of them and ran an export that converts them to JXL and imports them back into the catalog.After the conversion/import was complete, I selected the PNG files again and used the Remove command to delete them from disk.Suddenly, those 14 newly imported JXL photos are thr ONLY photos that will show up in my catalog. Everything else has vanished—and not only from that subfolder, but from ALL the subfolders in the parent folder. I can't figure out what's going on. If I try to synchronize the folder, it shows that it will import 336 photos, but when the import window comes up there's nothing there because it thinks all the photos are duplicates. If I use the Find All Missing

I have the same (up-to-date) versions of LR and PS on my laptop as my desktop and preferences are identical. LR on my laptop will not enable any of the extended 'Edit In' options for Photoshop 2025 but will for the beta version. Hi, I am new to the community. I have recently bought a new iMac and have the latest updates for LrC installed. Every time I try to import it crashed after only 2 photos! I've disabled the GPU, reset preferences, purged the cache and tried a new catalog. I have plenty of space on my external hard drive and using the same SD cards I've been using for a while now. I've tried two different SD cards and have the same issue.I never had any issues with my 10 year old MacBook!! please, does anyone know how to fix this?  thanksMark

I just updated to Lightroom 14.4 and now the Enhance feature is gone! What am I missing? I use this feature all the time.

In LRC, the Landscape masks do not separate the different masks; they take them as a single mask. It was working well until last week. I made a test with Camera Raw, and it is working ok there.

Using Publish services publishing to Google drive streamed folder in physical drive (not virtual drive) and folders that used to publish are usable offline. When Content Credentials are disbled upload works fine. Enabling Content Credentials (any method) causes errors and files are not uploaded. All file requirements are ok.Exporting photos normally (not via publish service) with Content Credentials enabled to "normal" physical folder works fine.

Bonjour,Windows 11 famille 64bits (10.0, build 22631)suite au reboot de mon ordinateur, j'installe ma version CD de lightroom 6 (avec serial number) sans problème et au lancement du programme l'invite suivante apparait: je suis les différentes instructions:  jusqu'à ce dernier panneau:je clique sur "accepter", le panneau disparait et rien ne se passe plus ....J'ai joint Adobe par téléphone à plusieures reprises, mais les personnes m'indiquent qu'ils n'ont pas de solution, sauf celle de souscrire un abonnement mensuel de 11€99/mois.Je ne demande pas de mise à jour, mais simplement de pouvoir utiliser, en l'état, le logiciel que j'ai acheté légalement, pour une version perpétuelle.Quelqu'un aurait-il une solution?Je trouve déplorable, pour ne pas dire malhonnête, la politique d'Adobe.Merci pour votre aide.      

Denoise dreadful on new computer, I bought a new Asus duo I9 ultra with 2tb hard drive 32gb ram arc graphics last year and I find that the denoise works twice as fast on my old Lenovo I7 512 gb hard drive 8gb ram Iris xe graphics.I used to have Capture one that is brilliant on my new computer, really quick, will be going bac to that when my subscription to adobe finishes.

Hi there. I have a windows copilot surface pro 11. So, I am working on Windows ARM. When I try to import photos to lightroom, I dont see any image on thumbnails at all. Like this> If I select all the images I want to import and click on import, I get this:I can leave the computer as long as I want that nothing appens. Lightroom is not crasched per se. I can still work with the pc. Lightroom is barely using CPU or Ram. Just sits there, for hours if I let. if I cancel the import I get this: I have enough space in disk. I am just adding pictures. I tried having the pictures in the pc hard drive and on a external hard drive. I tried changing permissions. I cannot get arround this to import photos into Lightroom. can you please help me!?? THANK YOU

Whilst using the Colour Mixer within the Develop Module I selected a swatch and then "Visualize Range". Not wanting to proceed I deleted the swatch (with Visualize Range still active). At this point the program locked up and I could only close and re-open it. I know what to do in future but I guess that this is a bug that needs dealing with.

I have a Sony A7R4 and 29GB download to LR Classic quite fast (minutes). I have a Sony RX10 and the files download extremely, extremely slow (3 to 4 hours).I download to the C drive with no other programs running. The ssd C drive has 1.4TB spare space. I have RTX 4080 graphics card. I have 64GB RAM 64bit systemWhat is wrong?

I am working under the Edit menu to change the identity plate setup.  I have selected personalized and custom plate, and Show Status and Activity is selected.  I have typed the custom text I want to display and selected the typeface and font size.The issue starts when I select the complementary typeface for the module picker buttons and font size.  The font size starts off as if it's a multiple of the selected size, not the selected font size.  Regardless of typeface, it behaves similarly.It gets better.  Regardless of the size selected in the button picker, each time a different typeface is selected, the size gets bigger by what looks like the same multiple.  The size returns to the original (wrong) font size when the size is manually selected.Here's my machine:Refurbished and nearly new (two months old to me): Dell XPS 13.3" QHD+ TOUCH Laptop 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7560U at 2.4GHz with Turbo Boost to 3.8GHz, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD using the Intel HD gra

Hello,I have an issue with the synchronization from LR Classic to LR.I finished processing my photos in LR Classic, and usually I put them in a collection to sync with LR. This time, in “Local Activity” it says that some photos are still being synchronized (including photos from other collections), but the sync is stuck at 254 photos and won’t move forward. I tried deleting one or two photos to restart the sync, but it didn’t work.In addition, when I open LR, it now tells me there is an error in my local catalog… Could you please help me? Lightroom Classic crashes now over the last 6 Days very often (most of the time) when i try to apply Denoise, then the progress Bar shows up and at some point of the process ( at different % of progress) it freezes my whole System mostly with a black screen, which then follows by a Automatic Restart of my Notebook.... ( Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage with AMD 5900HX and AMD 6800 AMD Driver is Adrenalin 25.9.1 ) there were only 1 or 2 exceptions of this error when it freezed with a randomly colorful pixelated pattern with a parttime black screen saying: Your System ran into a Problem and needs to Restart, Stop code: Clock Watchdog Timeout (0x101) I had no Problems over a long time with this system. Hi, in the latest version 14.5.1 the GPU shoud accelerate previews and exports.  However, my Nvidia 5070 TI with 16 GB Ram is ideling with 1-15% during previews and export although it is enabled in the lightroom settings. CPU (i9-9900KF) is running at 80%.How can I enable lightroom to use the brand new GPU?

I have been struggling with this pretty much all day. I have a LR catalog that seems to be missing content that is in it's 'Import' folder. I am on a Mac and using LR Classic 14.5.1 Build [202508231203-c2638d01].In the library module,  - the Catalog 'All Photographs' count is 1091.  - the Folders 'Import' count is 1091.So far, so good. But I noticed that in the 'Import' folder there are 1354 images/files.Not sure how to get the two to match. I have tried to 'Synchronize' the folder and in the pop-up dialog box it says that it will import 252 files. I realized that doing so will bring the count in the Lightroom Catalog 'All Photographs' count to 1343 (the original 1091 + the new 252).Not exactly the 1354 that are in the 'Import' folder, but I would be happy to get those numbers so close. When I clicked on the 'Synchronize' button at the botom of the 'Synchronize Folder "import" dialog box, I get a message pop-up that states, "No photos or videos were found to import"

I've update Lightroom Classic and Camera Raw at the latest version.Since than, Noise Reduction doesn't work anymore (Photo shooted whit Nikon D5600, file extention .NEF, Windows 11 Pro).When i click the Noise Reduction Flag, appear to me the window where you can see that it's start working saying to me how much time will take to apply the noise reduction, 2 second later the window disappear without applying the command.I've tried with automatic syncronisation, nothing change.I've tried to unistall and reinstall, nothing.I've tried to reset preference, still nothing.Last week i was able to use noise reduction, now it doesen't work.Please someone let me know what is wrong with that, thanks.

Hi. After a long time digging through multiple forums, I’m laying out all my problems with Lightroom Classic, which I see are only getting worse. Obviously, if you can help me with any of them, great, but this is more of a post to flag things in the hope that someone at Adobe reads it, because in my opinion Lightroom needs a thorough overhaul. The app is becoming very hard to use, and the system requirements for a photo app are sometimes unreasonable.My relationship with Lightroom has always been love–hate, but these days it almost always leans toward hate. I normally do my work in Lightroom Desktop and sync images and their edits to the cloud.  My entire workflow starts in Lightroom (either desktop or mobile).  I load images to the cloud, then later I'll open Lightroom Classic and download everything I've done so I have a local copy/backup of my images.  I never start in Classic and sync smart previews to the cloud. Sometimes I need to use LrC, for soft-proofing for example.  If I have LrC set to save .xmps, when it downloads an image or the edits I've done to an image, what does it do?  Will it then create the .xmp and save it next to the raw that it downloads from the cloud?
