Lightroom Classic

I was trying to create a camera profile from two photos of passport checker 2 under different lighting and could not find Calibrite passport 2 under Export with presets. I already restarted my Mac and Lightroom Classic after installing Calibrite profiler when i got the passport with dng files.Not sure how to handle this.Thank you

Lightoom now has taken up over 153 GB on my hard drive, and I only have 165 GB available on my hard drive. What can I do to lower the amount of space LR is taking up? Thank you! 

I keep my working photos on an external hard drive in a folder labled photos.  Recently the connector failed and a technician was able to copy the contents to a new external hard drive.  Lightroom is able to see the new external hard drive, but Im unable to see the folder labled photos.  Therefore, I am unable to see any of my working folders.  FYI, under the photos folder, I have yearly working folders (e.g. 2023, 2024, etc).  Any suggestions?  Also, my computer is a Macbook Pro.

Lightroom classic AI masks not persistent after restart – catalog does not save updates

I recently copied all my Lightroom Classic files - image files and catalogue - to an external drive, to use while travelling.When I open Lightroom from the catalogue on the external drive, there are no previews visible. Do I need to tell Lightroom the new location of the previews folder?Thanks

Seit gestern öffnet sich DXO Pure Raw3 nicht mehr aus Lightroom. Ich arbeite mit einem IMac.Pure Rar funktioniert als standalone richtig. Wenn ich nach dem Entrauschen als Exportziel Lightroom Classic auswähle, dann öffnet das Programm lightroom korrekt und zeigt das neue Bild an und es befindet sich im Importdialog. Dieser läuft ebenfalls sauber ab.Nur wenn ich in lightrppm über Datei/Plug-in-extra/Übergeben an DXO PureRawe3auswähle, öffnet sich das Programm nicht.Ich wäre dankbar für eure Hilfe.Viele Grüße Ines

In adobe lightroom classic (windows), when I press "I" while in full screen view mode I do not see the photo information, while in windowed mode in the library the photo information is shown. Anyone else have this issue? My library view options are below.

I have done my due diligence before posting this question, but have not found the answer. I know about the browser based User Guide but prefer a downloaded version. I have Lightroom Classic v 14.0 on my M1 mac mini. I did the search for the manual in the current Safari browser.  Thank you in advance if you are able to help me with this seemingly simple request I have not found the answer to.

Hello, Lightroom is not showing my photos in develop tab or in the library tab. I can only see 3 at a time, and when I click on a new photo, the previous one disapears. as usual I edit my photos yesterday and when I open it in the morning all of my edits are gone. It's weird since i saved a preset but its still there but my edited photos are not saved.    [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Hi! Why is my LR CC catalogue still v13-3 when I have the latest LR CC version 14.5.1? Do I need to fix it and if so how? Running on Windows 10 Pro.

hi, i'm new to lightroom classic and when i began using it ,  whenever i exported an edited file LR would automatically add a new jpeg (of the edited file) next to the raw file in the "film strip" at the bottom of the screen.  Now it's stopped doing that and i can't figure out why. I have checked the box in preferences to "treat jpeg files next to raw files as separate photos" but it makes no difference. my edited jpeg files are being exported to the export folder i choose. i will really appreciate help with this. TIA

I'm running an old (LR6.14) version on a Mac.  I've haven't used LR in quite a while and noticed that most of my image previews are missing.  I suspect others in the household have used LR in my absence and may have contributed to the problem.  I'm at the "Don't know what I don't know" stage.  My first assumption is that this is a catalog problem.  If I do a search for "Lightroom Catalog", here's what I get: My understanding of LR catalogs is rudimentary at best .  At this stage I'm not sure what other info to post or how to proceed.  I'm at a total  loss and would greatly appreciate any help.  I searched for Lightroom for Idiots but came up empty!

Would it be possible to have a function to collapse all the folder hierarchies in Lightroom Classic. Its time consuming to navigate all open folders, so having the ability to collapse to 1,2 or 3 levels of hierarchy would be extremely useful. Same goes for Collections and Presets......

This is about editing only a select number of images from my card.  Let's say I have 100 photos on my card, but I only have time to edit 60 of them. After highlighting those 60, checking the box, selecting my Destination, Importing, and then editing those 60 images, I discover I have more time to spend on editing. Are those 40 remaing photos still found in the Library, or if not, where are they? TY communityWindows 11LrC 14.5.1

Hallo,    seit kurzem ist der Button für das KI Entrauschen aus Lightroom und Camera Raw verschwunden. Ich kann nur noch normal entrauschen. Wurde das bewusst von Adobe entfernt? Hat jemand das gleiche Verhalten? Oder muss ich irgendwas bestimmtes in den Einstellungen ändern? I'm photographing a professional doctor for a magazine cover and will teather my Sony A7iv to my Mac Book Pro to LRC. How can I use a PNG, PDF or other format overlay over my image of the doctor so I know where the cover text will located. 

Whenever I try to apply any AI mask to a photo in Lightroom, the app buffers as if it's working on creating the mask, and then the screen turns black. After a couple seconds, the screen comes back but every panel in Lightroom is pure white and I can't perform any actions until I restart the app. Up until a few days ago, the issue only happened occasionally and I was able to live with it. However it now happens every time I use an AI mask, which makes it almost impossible for me to edit photos efficiently.Here's what I've tried so far to fix the issue: Updating GPU drivers, rolling-back GPU drivers, turning off GPU use in Lightroom preferences, editing in a new catalog, installing cloud-based Lightroom (still crashed with same issue), rolling-back Lightroom Classic, changing to lower performance Arc GPU, and clearing Lightroom preferences.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Problems with Lightroom Classic – ”An error occurred when attempting to change modules”. What to do?I have a huge problem using lightroom. Suddenly I can not change modules. I can sometimes go to the module Web, Book or Map – but not to Develop or Library. Tried calling Adobe Support but after 40 minutes the call got disconnected and I never got called back and the problem is unsolved. The supporter was trying making a second profile on my Mac and probably wanted to install another version on this profile to check if the computer is OK – I’v got no other problems on my brand new Mac. Do I not understand something, or is the Lr Catalog Backup completely useless if you don't have the couple of other files in the directory it operates within?  Why aren't those included? I get it that the images are just links. I've been going along, backing up regularly since Lightroom v.1. to an external drive, thinking I was covered. I finally had a HD fail. Bought a new computer and went to recover from my so-called backups, only to discover that each catalog requires three other files not included in its backup file to be able to open and use the backup.. I've wasted three full days. J Kost, in her tutorial on how to move to another machine, explains it all. But if you can't get those other few files, you are screwed. TIP: If you aren't copying the entire folder the catalog operates within, your backups are usesless if you have to move to aniopther machine. TIP: Dont put your catalog in the Onedrive/Pictures as they recommend. The LRC mask function do't work. The Radio & linear gradient do not show the boundary lines and center point. It only show the overlay in red. I can not move the masked area around.

Hello everyone, I'm currently having an issue i can't manage to fix myself. My Lr CC is running on my Windows 10 computer and i have a one for all library in it that holds every images i've taken. Every images with a certain rating goes either in a "saving" dynamic collection or in a "portfolio" dynamic collection based on the stars given. In my case the saving collection has something around 500 images and 100+ for the portfolio one. Then i have a folder that has 2 copies of the dynamic collections but not dynamic to sync them with my cloud in order to find them in Lr on my other devices (iphone/ipad). The thing is that since they are not dynamic at all unlike the 2 that they are meant to stricly copy/paste, whenever i make a change in my ratings or add images, to save me some time, i just clean out the collection completly and select all images in the refering dynamic collection (Ctrl+A) and clic and drag in the normal synced collection. It's important to note that when i do this, i
