Lightroom Classic

In dev. module I'm, applying some changes to a photo (for example lights, contrast etc.). When I want to save these changes as a preset (clicking the plus sign top left) LR freezes. I'm using Win 11 and LR Classic 14.4. Any idea what could be the cause?   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

I have a Mac Desktop computer with OS Ventura 13.4.1 Light Room Classic v12,4 I can not email photos. Message comes up "Failed to Send Email". I validated my address. I don't know what to do!!

I'd like to purchase the new or some previous version of Lightroom for desktop with a one-time payment. However, I've been told and I've seen it on Adobe's website myself that it's no longer possible, but Adobe will charge you a monthly fee instead.Is that true or false? I truly hope it's not true.  Could someone please from Adobe answer whether Lightroom (for PC or laptop) can still be bought with a one-time payment or not?  My 2nd question is that my Lightroom runs very heavy and painfully slow on my HP laptop. Any tips to make it run a little faster and smoother with Windows 10?My laptop doesn't support Windows 11 so...I'd really appreciate any helpful tips!  And as for Lightroom, hopefully it'll be available without that stupid monthly chargeBut if not, I'm afraid I'll have to switch to another company's software to edit my photos.I've used several LR versions which I bought with a one-time payment from Adobe.Hope that our customer relationship will co

Hallo,Ich frage mich seit längerem, wieso in der Stichwortliste rechts immer so viel Platz leer ist und Stichwörter deshalb abgeschnitten werden. Da ich viele verschachtelte Stichwörter nutze, wird praktisch jedes Stichwort am rechten Rand abgschnitten, obwohl noch sehr viel Platz da wäre. Gibt es dafür eine Erklärung oder liesse sich dieses Problem beheben?

I have two Lightroom Classic catalogs, A and B.For a long time, I synchronized catalog A with the Lightroom Cloud.Then I entered the cloud synchronization credentials for catalog B as well, because I didn't know I was only allowed to synchronize one catalog.Now, every time I start catalog B, I get a message saying I'm only allowed to synchronize with one catalog and a question asking if I want to synchronize catalog B. The options are "Cancel" or "Yes, synchronize this catalog instead."I want to continue synchronizing catalog A and not synchronize catalog B. "Cancel" isn't final, though. I get a message again the next time I start it. How can I prevent this? I was able to enter the credentials in the Lightroom synchronization settings, but there's no way to remove them.   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Opened up Lightroom today to edit some photos. All my images dating back to 2021 are completely purple. Tested updated GPU drivers, updated LCC, reset monitor settings and window settings. The same photos are completely normal on my Macbook. And they have been completely normal until today, any one know any tips?

Hey everyone, My LrC keeps trying to import files every few seconds. This just started yesterday but it's drving me crazy. The import window opens and I have to hit "done" or "close" and it's happening every 20 - 30 seconds... Like it's caught in some sort of loop. Hey dear Community,I am working with LrC 14.1.1 on MAC Pro 15.1.1 and sometimes my keywords of all picture are not anymore shown and it seems always after I have imported new pictures and put keywords to those.As soon I restart the application everything is fine and all keywords are visbleGreetings from Cadolzburg

When I export photos to email and save as draft for later the photos disappear while text remains. LR Classic 14.3 and iMac 15.5 Sequoia.  Anyone have a solution to the photos disappearing when email saved as draft?

Hi there,I use the Adobe lightroom program to edit and share my pictures. Recently, the link that i use for albums works on my phone, but i cannot open the album with the link on the computer. Any ideas?

I am puzzled. I bought an SSD to help speed up the read speed for cataloging photos and videos I take on my phone that turn into reels. I am able to sift through and view the photos from that SSD that have already been uploaded. When I select this SSD in the uploading window, I just get the spinning wheel for an enternity and the light on the SSD does not flicker to indicate they are talking. It is like a complete disconnect with the upload function only. I am not sure what I can do about this besides a workaround with moving files so that they upload on a current HDD, and then I'll update the new file location to the SSD.   Both the PC and Lightroom are up to date. Hardware details and the spinning wheel are in photos attached. I create a collection, then hit "Make Public". I go the the web gallery (https://adobe.ly/43PUrvf), but they do not sort by name or date created. I need to sort them by name. How do I do that? I am using a Mac, but even if I go to LR web and sort there, nothing changes. Any thoughts?

Can anyone tell me how to organize images so they show up organized by name on a Lightroom Web gallery? On LR Classic, they are arranged by name, but on the web gallery, they show up in a random order. I have also tried to organize the gallery in question on LR Web by filtering by custom or date options. They are the only options available.  I am working on LR Classic and am working on an M1 machine. 

Hi everyone. Basically what the title says - I AM using Lightroom Creative, as that's what I've used for wedding photography for the past 6 years and it's worked perfectly. I recently got a new laptop, and with it new updates to LrC and Photoshop that my old computer was likely too old to get. Everything is different now - I can no longer save a JPG in photoshop without making a copy? If that tells you how long it's been since my computer updated.  Images are saved as jpegXL. I opened them in lightroom and they look absolutely awful. The first photo is what it looked like in LrC. The second is what it looks like saved onto my computer (how it's intended to look).Anyone know what's going on here?

Hi,I'm editing 360 photos and to get them to stitch after editing, I need to  HDR merge them with the auto align box unchecked.So far, I've not found ways to manually change the settings when doing batches of images (multiple stacks). It's getting real time consuming having to manually HDR merge every single stack.Has anyone found a solution to this?

I've tried this on 3 photos and this is always the results I get. I've also included a screenshot of my iMac's specs. specs.

As the title suggests, I'm still using Lightroom Classic 5.7 on my Winwos 11 and suddenly today - LR started crashing when trying to import new images. Does any one know how to fix this? Many thanks in advance.

So I am following these instructions to retrieve deleted photos:https://helpx.adobe.com/pl/lightroom-cc/using/restore-deleted-photos.html It says under "View Deleted Photos" : Click the "MY Photos" Icon.  Where is this??

Lightroom Classic is constantly "forgetting" where I usually import files from (my download folder on my Mac) and where I usually put them (a Misc folder in my library).The program collapses the folder structure for both the "where from" and the "where to" locations, forcing me to laboriously re-open folders to get to the ones I want to use.Is there a way to store a preset for these locations, or some other method that would prevent this unnecessary work?Thanks for any help the community can give here.

Hello, I have two work stations. One is my PC at home and other is my laptop I carry while working. I have only been using Lightroom Classic all this while and have never used the web versions of it until now. I recently looked into syncing which would be beneficial for me rather than keep transfering files from computer to computer. The issue is that when I am 'enable sync' from the cloud icon in Lightroom Classic on my home PC, it starts downloading the files stored in laptop (I already have local copies of it in my SSD). How do I stop it from downloading local copies but just let it sync to the cloud so I can edit on laptop whenever needed. Is there even an option like that?

Hello,   I found that this feature was requested several times and as it was not fulfilled, I add my voice and ask again for displaying file names in filmstrip view. When You edit thousand of pictures and Your client sends You a photo selection based on file names, it would save a lot of time to see the file names directly and not be having to mouse over and look in the status bar. It would be much better for orientation when scrolling through a huge collection.   Thanks!   Radim

On my Macbook Pro 2021 M1 the Lightroom Classic masking tool is keep on freezing. Specially when i work with the brush tool. After some time of using it, it starts lagging and it slows down significantly and it becomes unusuble. Then even if i just want to move to another picture it takes like 30 seconds till the new picture shows up. And when i want to restart the LRC it just freezes and i have to force quit it. Does anyone witnessed the same issue? Is there any solution for this problem? Thnx...

I selected the Remove tool.  Selected Use Generative AI and Detect Objects.  Brushed over object to remove.  But the remove button was not active.  I had a similar issue with the landscape Mask.  What is the problem and the solution?  Creative Cloud is indicating my software is up-to-date. [Using Apple 14 inch, M1 Macbook Pro].
