Hi everyone, I’m experiencing a critical issue with Lightroom Classic (latest version as of today). The software becomes completely unresponsive as soon as I start working on any photo, or even just browsing through the library. No error message appears – the program just freezes for a long time, and eventually the crash report window pops up. At the moment, Lightroom Classic is completely unusable. This is a very urgent issue, as I need the software for my professional workflow and have several photo sessions to deliver. Additional info: I am using the latest version of Lightroom Classic. I updated my Nvidia RTX 5070 drivers today (clean install). Running on Windows 10/11 (specify your OS). No other Adobe apps are running. The issue occurs consistently, even after rebooting the system. Is anyone else experiencing this? Are there any known fixes? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Issue 1: paper source popup vanishes. LR Classic, I click print settings, dialog box opens. Click on printer options, then printer settings. The paper source popup, which allows choosing front fine art feeder from P800, has vanished. See screenshots: one shows paper source popup, the other shows it's missing. (This issue ocurred while troubleshooting issue 2; I created a new Mac user, and noticed paper source was missing, so I went back to original Mac user account to take screenshot of dialog box showing paper source, but minutes later paper source popup disappeared.) Issue 2: My presets don't stick, once I close the print dialog box in LR, and then open it again, it always reverts to premium glossy paper, with high speed and finest detail checked. I've tried creating new presets with different settings, but it always goes back to this. I've tried deleting all presets, and setting preset popup to "default" but the same thing happens. I can select fine art paper, change settings,
If I put a vertical (or auto, or one of the other 6 buttons at the top of the transform module) transform in a preset and then apply the preset to a bracketed set, will the transform apply to all of the bracketed images in the same way, so they will still be aligned, or might the transform be different for each image and foul up their alignment.
Hi,I am trying to import raw files into Lightroom Classic, but I want to keep the flat image of the raw file and not have any interpretations applied. The reason is that I am using Lightroom to prepare the footage for a timelaps and any colour grading will be done on another platform, so I want to keep as much information of the raw file as possible. Is there any way to import the raw files in a way that the image stays flat? Thanks!Tobias
Cada vez que Lightroom se actualiza pierde mis preferencias y al comenzar a usarlo no recuerda el catálogo con el que estaba trabajando e inicia como si fuera la primera vez que lo uso.
LR 14.0.1 OSX 15.1Installed LR 14 earlier this week. When using Z or Space key to zoom into an image, the image dissapeared. Jsut the background grey visible. On repeat, image came back as Fit. Repeatable on multiple images. Happens in E mode and D mode (Library + Develop). Restart the app - problem dissapears. However, after editing a few images the problem reappears. Now there is a new itteration of this same issue. Instead of the image dissapearing on Zoom - the screen where the zoomed image should be is going bright green! I've attached a video to demonstrate. I'm sure a restart of the app will fix - but clearly there is something going on here, that isn't as it should be. 100% or 200% same issue.
I used the LRC feature to remove person quite often. But when I try to remove one in a raw-file, I get an error. The persons are identified. Within masking LRC doesn't find the persons in raw-files. Do I need to export as a JPG first to use these features?
Ligtroom Classic Windows does not merge PEF raw files to HDR - have to convert to DNG first
Bonjour je ne vois pas comment m'abonner à LRC rien que LRC. merci
MacBook Pro M1 internal SSD 1 TB 16 GB RAM Sequoia 15.5 When assigning keywords, it sometimes happens that the input is not visible when trying to enter a new keyword because the input window becomes white and remains white. You no longer have any control over what you write or which keywords were already there before. Sometimes the error occurs after 10 photos, sometimes after 500 and sometimes never during a session. It is a different number of photos each time. By closing Lightroom Classic and open it again, the error is eliminated until it happens again. What is the problem and what can i do about it?
I have created a DNG profile for my Leica Q3/Q343 cameras using the X-Rite ColorChecker Camera Calibration export option. I apply these profiles to the photos in Lightroom Classic. I create a collection and sync it with Lightroom. The profile shows up on the photos in Lightroom Desktop and Lightroom Mobile (I had to import the profiles into Lightroom Desktop), and also if I view the photos on the Web by right clicking on the Collection and selecting Lightroom Links, Public Link, View on Web. I might have to be in the Edit panel on the Web for this to happen. But if you look at the photos on the Web by copying and using the Public Link, the custom DNG profile is not applied. When I apply a DNG profile which already exists in Lightroom to my photos which I didn't create, the profile is applied on the web so I am guessing that it is something to do with the fact that I created the profile. How can I make the custom DNG profiles show up on the photos on the Web when using the Public
Does the 13" M4 iPad Pro work as an HDR screen for the Develop module of Lightroom Classic when used in the sidecar mode with an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 Mac mini in my case) when the non-sidecar screen is an SDR screen (Studio Display in my case)? If it works as an HDR screen, how many stops of HDR can it do? Does the iPad Pro have to be in Reference Mode?
I have some CR3 files from a Canon R5 and they aren't being recognized by lightroom, photoshop or bridge. I am running the latest versions of all 3 apps and the latest version of camera raw. (ACR17) It says that it doesn't recognize the file type.
I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 11 with a fast ARM processor, but Photoshop will not open a photo using the edit in command from LR Classic. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
I have a plugin that uses external binaries. I have binaries for Windows, Mac ARM, and Mac AMD that I provide with my plugin. When I run LrTasks.execute, I need to determine which one to use. I have searched all over the SDK, but have not been able to find anyway to determine which one to run. Any suggestions for introspection? Paul
Since I have upgraded to Classic 14.4 I have noticed the ketwords are not uploaded to LR-Cloud Sync. I have tested with several files and purged smart previews / save metadata to files etc (All the advice given on google search). Has anybody else seen this issue, and hopefully have a workaround / Fix. Classic V14.4 on Windows 10
I remember using and loving this special Touch UI mode on my old convertible laptop but one day the icon was gone. I thought this was a firmware bug with my laptop but the button is also missing on my brand new Surface Pro 11. Is there a hotkey to open it or some settings file i have to edit to get the button back?

Something else I’ve noticed about the denoise function – by the way, I’m really happy with it, especially since it doesn’t create an extra DNG file, which is great for my workflow. Maybe except for the progress window. When I apply it to a photo with a high ISO value of 8000 (using the default denoise value of 50), and then use the AI Remove tool afterward, the noise seems to come back more than in the original photo. This is also when I first use remove and then denoise. Here are the steps with images I follow: This is a standard imported raw file Denoise applied Then I want to remove the yellow line in de upper right corner The line is removed, but there is a strange effect in the place of line now Here under a detail I hope you can see this.

After several attempt I moved the Lightroom folder from teh cloud to my 😧 drive on my desktop PC. Now when I attempt to Backup the the Catalog I get a Error... Ive tried to select my Server or other storage. and it failes Could there be a parm incorrect?
Hello everyone. I have a big issue, when clearing out my laptop, i was deleting a lot of stuff. What I thought was an old backup was my current catalog and i cant recover it. Before this happended all edit were synced to the cloud. My question is if i begin a new catalog and allow it to sync to the cloud, will it pull down all the edits into the new catalog and from there can I just relink the images to the raw images I have.
Hello, I'll give a bit of backstory, explain my dilemma, and describe the fix I'm attempting—but can’t seem to figure out. I set up an ingest/export folder structure for shooting. I’d been using Lightroom Mobile for about 2.5 years, but I was getting annoyed with (1) the speed of the software, (2) the lack of robust features, (3) the cloud storage space being eaten up, and (4) the inability to delete rejects from local storage. So I started using Lightroom Classic, and it solved my qualms with LrM. But unfortunately, about 3.5k images were already in Mobile, many of them edited. I spent weeks trying to figure out how to best move the edits to Classic—into the same 'ingest' folders—while maintaining the edits and knowing which were flagged to keep and which to delete. I went through discussion after discussion and found there was no smart, easy way, so I brute-forced it. I set up empty folders on my local drive and manually copied over the ~3.5k images from the synced 'Collect
