Lightroom Classic

I know I'm one of the fewer people who use Bridge + ACR (probably even more of a minority on this forum) but please bear with me. I'm sure I'm missing some easy shortcuts or something. Here's what I struggle with:1. In Camera Raw, I am able to crop several images at the same time identically. I am able to make other chnages over a batch of images at a time for example masking/ colors etc. In LRC I seem to need to go to each to do it. If I select 5 images and apply a crop it applies it only to one image. 2. My next qualm is, in ACR I can copy and paste settings with simple crtl+c/ ctrl+v commands. In LRC, I need to right click, develop settings, copy settings and the same process to paste. 3. In Bridge, I can edit settings under edit/ keyboard shortcuts. LRC seems to be a bit more long winded? I already tried to look for the ansers on google, chatgpt and the forums but Im sure I missed something. Would love to know what keeps you with LRC as Im sure Im missing someth

Since the last big update, lightroom changed the shortcut function for Sync Settings (⌥⌘S - for mac) from opening the sync settings dialog selection box to just syncing using your last sync settings. This might not be a negative for most users but I used that setting a lot via a button on my mouse and now there is no shortcut to access the dialog box (that I know of). I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to create a shortcut to access the sync settings dialog option box that I can use?  Really wish that instead of swapping a shortcut for a new option that LR folk would just create a new shortcut for that option, that way users can just choose either/or. I'm on 14.4Mac OS 13.5.2 Thanks! 

This error message has been popping up everytime I try to work on my lightroom classic catalog today, I can't work out why? 

After the payment was not made on time, Lightroom stopped allowing me to export files. Now the payment is fine, but I still can't export files. What should I do?

Hello! I recently downloaded Lightroom 5 and I've been watching tutorials on YouTube. I'm trying to create my own template for a collage, but noticed I don't have the "Template Browser" tab on the left hand side. How do I get this tab? Thank you in advance!Note: The tabs I do have: Navigator, Catalog, Folders, Collections and Publish Services. When right clicking on the side panel, it doesn't even give me the option for select Template Browser.

Hello! Anyone knows why masking tools are glitching that bad when I try to brush or to linear gradient something? I'm leaving a video to show the exact problem.  This glitch is persisting only on some photos, fot the next photo for example its working fine. Hello, The software has been very slow since the last update. I have an XPS 15 laptop with 64GB of RAM. When I'm working in Lightroom, I constantly have to close everything and restart to regain some speed. However, neither the processor and the RAM ever exceed 40% and 30% of their capacity under Windows. What can i do ? 

New here and not very experienced with Adobe so go easy lol and sorry if this has been covered.  I have Lightroom classic and have imported 200ish raw photos 25-30mb photo size.  When I'm in develop mode switching from picture to picture to compare images it's painfully slow for it to load the clarity of the image and then when I go back to the other image same thing takes like 7 seconds to load the clarity.  This is just switching back and forth between two images takes a long time for it to load then same problem when I switch back to other image.  I read Abobe having slow problems but pretty sure it's not as bad as what I'm dealing with if anyone can help please.   Frustrating trying to develop photos waiting 5-10 seconds for picture to load just to compare two images to see which one is better.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi All,  I'm having what seems to be a very common issue with LRC and PS talking to each other. I want to open two images as layers in PS from LRC then save back to LRC from PS.  Stats:PS version - 26.8.1LRC version - 14.4Laptop Info - MacBook Pro, 2019 - OS-Sequoia 15.5 Photos are stored on an external drive Steps taken to resolve:- Updated to newest version of PS and LRC - Restarted laptop- Uninstalled both PS and LRC - Reinstalled PS first then LRC- Reset Preferences in PS- Checked external editing preset is set to PS in LRC- Disconnected and reset External Hard drive- Have tried older versions of LRC and PS together  I have had some success with dragging photos over into PS or using the toolbar instead of right clicking on the selected images as I normally do but this doesn't work everytime. When it does I then can't save from PS back to LRC as I get an error message saying there is a disc problem when saving.  I'm kind of at a loss

Each time I try to apply changes to a masked area LRC (V.14.4) is changing the entire picture and not the selected area only.  I never had this problem on my older desk top versions or in the LR for mobile uses. I have windows 11 pro. Do you have an idea? Thanks!

Hi,Hoping for a more up-to-date solution for this as Adobe have known about this issue for a long time. 🙂Was following the instructions as provided by Adobe to move files between folders within Lightroom Classic.  Some of the NEFs are coming up as file missing.  Can't find them in either the source or destination folder.  Have searched the whole drive but nothing coming up.  I haven't deleted.  Though I have looked in the recycle bin just in case. On Windows 11. Would appreciate Adobe coming back to me on this.  Afterall, why do we pay our monthly subscription? Where are and how can I recover them?Thanks.Derek

I keep getting this popping up all the time even though I have given LR full disk access (see attached screenshot).  I can obviously just ignore the warning but considering I have given LR full disk access I am wondering what could be triggering it and what exactly is it trying to access that it can't? 

I encountered a very annoying bug after updating to the latest version of Lightroom classic yesterday. When using AI-based selection tools (like Select Subject, Select Background, etc.), I noticed that the selection occasionally cancels itself immediately after making it — as if I never clicked anything. It happens unpredictably, but after using a few AI selections, the issue starts appearing again and again. I've confirmed: My keyboard is working perfectly fine (no stuck Escape keys or anything like that) I'm using the latest Lightroom update Restarting Lightroom temporarily resolves the issue — but only for a short while It becomes a repeated pattern, especially when doing multiple AI-related edits This bug significantly disrupts my workflow and makes AI editing feel unstable. Hi there Adobe Team, I believe I found a bug in v. 14.4 (build [202506051112-5918896a]). My folder color labels are disappearing between restarts. Here are the colors on the left pane:  And here the color labels gone after restarting Lightroom:  Notice the time on the top right. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks,Marcelo

In the Develop module, I used to be able to copy the edit settings for a photo using Ctrl + C, and paste it as many times as I liked. However, this no longer seems to reliably work.    I select a photo, and then Ctrl + C. The Copy Settings dialogue is correctly lauched. I click 'Copy'. Sometimes I can paste the settings to another photo using Ctrl + V, but sometimes the command does nothing. If it does work, I can only paste to one or more photos in that single Ctrl + V operation. I cannot then paste the same settings to more photos. This used to work perfectly.    The same is also true for the Copy... Paste buttons I now see at the bottom lefthand side of the navigator panel. Please can you tell me if this is a bug? It's driving me mad! I am a software developer and am pretty confident it's not user error. I key is not changing info until restarting LrC 14.4All Adobe apps up to date as is my computer, Windows 11 

I've been using the Adobe Photography plan (Lightroom Classic and Photoshop) for years but I have exhausted the mac's internal drive space. Previously I moved all of my photos, catalogs and backups to an external SSD but I am still getting warnings about insufficient disk space so I would like to move these apps to the external SSD also. My question is how should that be done? Should I just uninstall the apps from the internal drive then download and install them on the external SSD and then open LR from the lrcat file or is something else required? Thanks!macOS 15.3.2, LR Classic 14.2
