Lightroom Classic

Bonjour Adobe, Je rencontre un problème récurrent avec l’intégration du plug-in Luminar Neo dans Lightroom Classic, malgré une installation conforme. Voici les étapes suivies : Installation de Luminar NeoInstallation du plug-in via Luminar > Installer les plug-ins > Lightroom ClassicRedémarrage complet de Lightroom  🔴 Problème : Le menu Modifier dans > Luminar Neo n’apparaît pas dans Lightroom Classic, alors qu’il était bien présent avant réinitialisation des préférences. En contournant via :Modifier dans > Modifier dans une autre application (en pointant vers Luminar Neo.app), je parviens à ouvrir la photo dans Luminar. Mais l’option “Appliquer” n’apparaît pas, remplacée par “Exporter”, ce qui rompt la logique de retour vers Lightroom. Il semble donc que : Le lien plug-in natif entre LRC et Luminar Neo ne soit plus détectéEt que la méthode “éditeur externe personnalisé” ne permette pas le retour automatique de l’image mo

So, I work with Lightroom with two different PCs each with their own Catalogue and sometimes I upload photos via one PC and then create a sync folder in the cloud with some of them. Lately the sync catalogue is quite a mess with some photos being wrongly displayed. What I mean is I have some photos with the same name and shot in diferent dates (e.g. IMG_0123) which are being wrongly displayed and in the wrong folder not corresponding with the actual image taken. Plus, LR Classic never quite finishes syncing despite ot finding any sync errors when I access Lightroom in the web. Any ideas how to solve this? Thank you

Hi everyone,I recently upgraded my system with an NVIDIA RTX 5080 (Desktop GPU). While Photoshop detects and uses the GPU without issues, Lightroom Classic (v14.3.1) shows the “Use Graphics Processor” option as permanently grayed out.I went through all standard troubleshooting steps, including:– Studio driver 576.52 (clean install)– BIOS set to PCIe, iGPU disabled– Preferences reset, admin launch, full Creative Cloud reinstall– GPU correctly assigned in Windows and in NVIDIA settingsI also spent over 2 hours in Adobe Remote Support (case ADB-40345402-L1L2) with no solution. The agent could not confirm whether the RTX 5080 is officially supported in Lightroom Classic. The case was closed without follow-up.So my question is simple:👉 Is the RTX 5080 currently supported by Lightroom Classic?👉 If not, when can support be expected?Thanks in advance for any clarity!

I would like to have up to 4 color swatches on folders in library. I could use one for reminding to cull the folder and another to remind to come back later and add keywords, etc.   [Mod: Reformatting the text]

Hallo, nachdem ich meine RAW´s in LRc bearbeitet habe, exportiere ich sie als .jpg mit 100 % Qualität (Screenshot siehe Anhang).Die RAW-Datei hat ca. 32 Mb, das unbeschnittene .jpg nur meist weniger als die Hälfe (ca. 16 Mb).Wenn ich die Bearbeitung nur in Luminar Neo durchführe ist das .jpg deutlich größer (ca. 25 Mb).Wenn ich die LRc Bearbeitung an Luminar Neo übergebe, bekomme ich ja eine .tif-Datei zurück.Exportiere ich die, so ist das .jpg noch kleiner (ca. 8 Mb).Wie kann das?GrußPeter Schumacher

Hi, how much money do I have to spend on a Windows laptop to get a decent and lag-free Lightroom experience? I bought new 2500 $ Lenovo Legion 7 16IRX9 (Intel Core i9-14900HX, 32GB RAM, RTX 4060 8GB), which I would call a decent spec, but I still have to generate 6 MPx proxies to be able to semi-fluently work in Develop mode. Even then Lightroom (Classic) takes about a second to switch from one image to another and load the UI in Develop mode and around 2 seconds to just open the masking tools. Any suggestions? Lukáš

When any new mask is selected, LRC is making an initial adjustment.  I have already checked for updates to LRC and MAC.  Also I have tried preferences/performance GPU in LRC.  The mask is making initial adjustments regardless of selection (i.e. subject, brush, landscape, etc). 

HiI'm using a new MacBook M4 Max running Sequoia 15.5 and Lightroom 14.3.1.SInce my computer upgrade I no longer have the ratings numbers under the thumbails in Loupe view. Very frustrating! Any suggestions how to get my stars back?Many thanksTherese@Aleke 

Help. I "did something", I honestly don't remember what, and instantly all 6500 of my photographs became gray squares. I watched a course video in which the instructor said, don't worry, they're still there but he didn't say where!

Denoise does not seem to be working on monochrome DNG files and it was working a few weeks ago. I tried it on files that it had worked in the past and it does not work. When I try to use it, the enhanced preview is blank and then it tells me it not applied due to an unknown error (1).  Has anyone else seen this error? (It works on color DNG files)

I have a new Mac book air and have just downloaded LR and LRC. Neither program can see my photos file. I have checked that LR has all permissions required. Please help.

Hi, for some time now I’ve been editing my photos only in the Lightroom app on macOS, and I took a break from using Lightroom Classic. Yesterday I decided to go back to Classic, but the photos I edited in the Lightroom app won’t work in the Classic version. When I try to import them, the preview is unavailable, and if I try to drag the photos into the program or import them, I get an error. Just to add, I have all the latest updates installed, the photos are stored on an external drive, and they’re saved as local files, not in the cloud. Has anyone else encountered this issue and knows how to fix it?

Hallo,   mir ist leider ein blöder Fehler passiert. Ich habe Bilder innerhalb von Lightroom von Festplatte A zu Bestplatte B verschoben. Allerdings habe ich alle Bilder markiert und nicht die Ordnerstruktur. Daher hat Lightroom die Bilder (38k) in einen einzelnen Ordner verschoben. Das hat nicht ganz geklappt, da durch doppelte Dateinamen einzelne Dateien nicht kopiert wurden. Ich hatte dann versucht die Bilder wieder zurück zu kopieren, dann wurde mitgeteilt, dass einzelne Ordner schon vorhanden sind und jetzt ist noch mehr durcheinander. Ich habe noch einen Lightroom Catalog als Backup gesichert, bevor ich das ganze Verschieben gestartet hatte. Jetzt meine Frage, kann ich diesen ursprünglichen Zustand wieder herstellen oder bin ich gezwungen die 38k Bilder von Hand neu zu sortieren?   Viele Grüße und vielen Dank Marcel   {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator} 

There is an issue with the following 4 settings  in LRC 13.2: Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks The issue is that they are applied erratically and the same setting values yield very different results in photos taken at the same time with the same camera, lens, iso, aperture and shutter speed.In my case it was a timelapse, so the photos are identical in terms of properties and I could reproduce this easily with adjacent images in the timelapse.To make sure my files aren't damaged somehow, I did the same edits in CaptureOne and everything works fine there.Furthermore I downgraded to LRC 13.0 and all is good again, the issue cannot be reproduced. Steps to reproduce:1. Setup the camera for a timelapse, in my case I used:shutter speed: 6 secondsiso: 100aperture: f1.41 frame every 10 secondsquality: raw2. Get the raw files into LRC3. Go to Develop and enable "Auto Sync", then click on the first image in the set.4. Edit this image, move the shadows slider about 3/4 to th

Finally upgraded to Lightroom Classic (desktop, annual plan). Stuggling with importing my existing catalogs from Lightroom 5 into Lightroom Classic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to export small JPG files of raw images on my Mac. A window opens that says unable to export, and the .text file that does export says "XMP develop error." Full disk access has been granted in my Mac system preferences and  I've done it 10 times on a PC no issue. Thank you.

Hello, Is it possible to change the shortcuts in Lightroom Classic Dutch version?I use the Dutch version of LRC on a desktop with a Windows 11 Dutch version and an AZERTY  keybord.Several shortcuts are not working and I would like to move them to another key combination.Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks!

Ich wollte Lightroom Classic einsetzen, musste aber feststellen, dass ich es zwar installieren konnte aber nicht die Sprache ändern kann (von Spanisch auf Deutsch). Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich auch Ligthroom installiert und auch dort mit viel Mühe die Sprache geändert. Leider funktioniert das hier nicht. Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?

The import dialog is still opened (because the folder is not empty), yet there is nothing to import. So it is impossible to add such folder into the library.

Starting last night, if I use DeNoise, it stalls and then crashes Lightroom Classic and my computer.  Tested GPU and it is working well.  Unable to force shutdown as it remains running in the background and I have to unplug my computer in order to be able to restart it.

Hallo zusammen! Seit Weihnachten hatte ich sporadisch Abbrüche in Lightroom, meist, wenn ich meinen NAS Server synchen wollte. Oder Bilder exportieren.Seit dem Frühjahr passierte das auch, wenn ich nur Bilder auf der Festplatte auswählte.Ein neuer Katalog brachte keine Änderung.Die LR Dateien von D auf C zu verlagern brachte keine Änderung.Nun auf einer beruflichen Reise wurde das immer extremer. Lightroom öffnen führte meist dazu, dass ein Ordner, ein Bild geöffnet wurde.Sowie ich ein anderes Bild anklickte, oder den Ordner wechselte: Abbruch.Einfach LR öffnen und erst einmal warten: Abbruch.Nach dem vierten, fünften Neustart klappte es dann manchmal einige Zeit.Import (von 100 bis über 10.000 Bilder pro Tag) wurde zum Glückspiel.Waren alle Bilder importiert und verschoben kam regelmäßig der Abbruch, wenn LR die Meldung brachte "Bilder nicht in DNG Format" importiert. AbbruchOft auch schon vorher während dem Import.Den Rechner in den Turbo-Modus zu versetzen brachte temporär Linderung

bonjour à tous Je viens d'acquérir Lr classic 14.3.1 Je ne parviens pas à faire la mise à niveau d'un ancien catalogue issu de lightroom 4 et utilisé sans problème sur la dernière version non payante de lightroom 6.
