Hi there,I had a broken catalogue, afterwards Lightroom "repaired" the catalogue.Now the star- and colorratings from my most recently used folders are missing. Everything is rated with zero stars.I made a backup yesterday, is it possible to import just the starratings from my backup?Because i dont want to loose the editing progress that i have made since then. Thank you for any help!Best regards Valentin 

In LrC, I inadvertently clicked “Don’t Show Again” option for the Edit In > (PhotoShop) command pop up menu. How do I turn it back on?Apolgies ~ pretty sure this is a rookie mistake, but I've been unable to find it on my own.I am using the most recent versions of LrC, Photoshop, and Mac OS on a Mac Studio.TIA

I have an annoying issue, botn in LRC an in PS often, while the pc is working to apply a correction, importing images, run AI tasks, my keyboard turns off. I have to unplug the USB connector and plug in again. I changend Motherboard and Graphic card and PSU, but this issue still remains. Every 5 minutes I 've to stand up, go to the back of the case, find the plug and so on.... No change o version and drivers helped me.

Using Lightroom classic with nothing else open and it constantly spins and Im having to wait for it after each modification. Slows down when moving mouse aroundspecs:1TB4GB Graphics Radeon RX 58032 gb RAMAMD Ryzen 5 4600 3.7 ghz

When editing images in the Develop module, images will randomly (without being directed to) rotate in the main viewing screen. I am using the most current version of LRC (v14.3.1). On a PC. Please see attached screenshot from 5.12.25 showing what is happening in the Develop module. The image has not been rotated and appears correclty in the Navigator window and the filmstrip view at the bottom. Please see second attachment for my computer specs. Since updating to version 14.3.1 a couple of days ago, this has happened to me at least 10-20 times. The only way I have been able to get the image to return to its proper orientation is to exit LR and reopen it. However, sometimes this is not correct the situation. Any suggesions or help that you can give is much appreciated. I am on a very tight deadline to complete edits of photos for my client who is a graduating senior. Hello,  I have issues with sync from LR to LRC.If I marked some photos in LR, they are not marked in LRC, same behavior with star notation. but if I marked  in LRC, they will be marked in LRI think my sync does work only from LRC to LR, but not in other ways. It worked several months ago.Thanks if you have any idea Hervé

For over four years, your software has been subject to numerous lags when using masking tools.There are posts about this problem every day.You constantly move from the bug section to the discussion section. Because you don't take responsibility for this problem, which is ruining the lives of many photographers like me.Your new solution is to make us turn off GPU acceleration or upgrade to an older version of LRC.Sound like a joke.. I don't understand why you don't take responsibility for this problem. It exists; it's ruining our lives. EDIT: Subject move from idea to discution in 30seg. gg adobe team

I upgraded to Windows 11, and it's worked fine, but recently, Lightroom Classic has become unresponsive. There's no crash prompt, so I have no crash report. My Lightroom catalog is on my C: drive, which has 229 GB free. My system has 64 GB of physical memory. The only way for me to recover is to close Lightroom or end the task. Do you have any idea what's causing this and how to fix it?

Hallo Lighroom-Spezies,ich habe folgendes Problem: Nach dem Wechsel auf einen neuen Rechner (von Windows 10 auf Windows11) bekomme ich diese Fehlermeldung Durch einen Neustart wurde der Fehler nicht behoben.Ich habe vor der Installation meine Bilder vom alten Rechner kopiert und auch die Katalog-Dateien kopiert.Würde mich riesig freuen, wenn jemand eine Lösung für mein Problem hat.Gruß Rolf

Hi guys,Having renamed a file I sometimes need to find out the original file name so as not to delete its master by mistake - if the renamed file is a copy, or if it's a master to a copy used elsewhere. I think you get my point.Thanks a lot,Raphael

My harddrive have crashed.  I have saved catalogs for my works on my computer. Will all the changes of pictures i have done under the last year appears in pictures on the  backupharddrive that i haven't been used for one years.   Sorry if question is a bit strange. Thanks 

Overnight the AI Denoise function says 'Denoise is not currently compatible with this photo format'. I am half way through a wedding gallery, RAW Sony Files. I must be missing something obvious, but I can't find a way to sort folders or collections by date.  How do you do this? My folders have descriptive names. I have no interest in naming them by date.I would like the most recent at the top so that I could easily look back chronologically. This was dead easy in Aperture, but somehow I can't find sorting options for folders in Lightroom. Collections seems to allow sorting by name or by kind, but that doesn't help either.As it is now, if I want to find the photos I shot a few weeks ago, if I don't remember the wording I used, I have to go back to the Finder, sort by date, find the folder, remember the name, and then go back into Lightroom and look for it in the alphabetical list.

I edited this image in April and submitted it to a photography contest.   At the time I darkened the background with a mask. I then esported the image without any problem.  However now, in June when I export the same image a halo is created around the subject.  In Develop mode the image looks normal (no halo).  When I shift to Library mode the mask moves slightly away from the subject leaving a halo.  I cannot find a way to get around this.  I won a contest with this image and now the contest admin wants a higher resolution image so it can be printed in a poster and place on display.  Help!  Lightroom Classic 14.31 Camera Raw 17.3.1Mac Sequoia 15.5Apple M1 Pro32 GB Memory

I got a new computer and hired someone to transfer all the data. Hundreds of photos in LR are blank or state"this file cannot be found". How to I fix this?

Buen dia, tengo uin problema con la visualisacion en light room classic y light room cloud (las dos apps), al momento de abrir una foto ya sea para revisarla antes o despues de importarla o al momento de revelar aparece la imagen sobre expuesta. Evidentemente no se puede trabajar correctamente. Hice algunas pruebas exportando archivos editados y sin editar  y comprobe que es problema de visualisacion ya que al poner ajuste automatico y exportarla la foto que resulta se ve correcta, con minimos ajuste claro. Alguien podria oprientarme sobre como deshacerme de este inconveniente? Mencionar que las fotos son tomadas con una camara A7 IV con el archivo de sony ARW. De ante mano agradezco su ayuda. Dejare ejemplos en imagenes del problema. 

Today I come to talk about similar faces when I select a face. I had to remake my catalog of 170.000 pictures/videos, and I found that selecting similar faces on person face its like a Captcha puzzle. First faces are easy to resolve, but i have similar faces below separated from the first ones. its like isnt ordered by match percentage and this is making me work more than expected. Imagine having 10/20k similar faces and not ordered by match percentage.. Anyone is having the same problem? Will be fixed or re-make some day? version: 14.3.1os: macos sequoia Best Regards,Ariel

Hola, he intentado que al momento de importar las fotografias a Lightroom classic me muestre solo las fotografias que marque en la camara, pero no encuentro donde esta la opcion, alguen me podra indicar por favor si se puede hacer? Saludos y gracias  

I am trying to find a way to reorder the Mask menu items.  I would like to move the Effects Menu so that it is under the Tone Menu.  I other words, I would like to use the same order I have for the Main menu in the Mask's menu.

I've applied an adaptive background lens blur. When I exported the photo, I noticed a black outline around some of the faces. I went back into Adobe Lightroom Classic and removed the lens blur. The outline went away. When I used the slider to put it back, the black outline appeared again.   Is there a fix for this?     [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

Bonjour, lorsque je supprime des photos depuis la grille de LrC, si les fichiers sont sur un disque amovible, LrC ouvre une dialogue me disant qu'il ne peut déplacer les fichiers vers la corbeille, alors que si je supprime ce même fichier depuis le finder, celui-ci se retrouve dans la corbeille et peut ainsi être restauré avec les fonction de l'OSiMac M1 IOS 15.5LrC 14.3.1Voir ces 3 copies d'écrans.

Hi all. When i import i have an option to import to a second destination, will this also add ajustments made on that destination if i synchronise while plugged in.? 

anybody having trouble with the slideshow in lrc, so i upload picturres and put music in the bacground to creat 2 different slideshows and the first one done no problem but the second one comes in with a bunch of issues i never had before not even with the first slideshow. the issues are one, it repeats the music like it will go on for good minutes then jumps back tothe beging of the the song mid the show but the photos are fine and 2, it just wont show the slides just the music and with the same issues in music and for 3rd, it juts starts with intro pic and stuck there no slide no music, i have restarted the software, my computer restarted, checked for updates, restart new slideshow, even started from scratched, checked preference setting with the gpu everything i can think of asked for help center no one could figure it out. have aanyone experience this?

Hiim new to Lightroom sdk , i wad reading the documents about he LrLogger , and its says i need to get MS debug tools to watch logs is it the only way ? if it is , where i can find short tutrial on how to see logs ?Thanks
