Lightroom Classic

I'm looking to quickly locate about 100 photos at a time by highlighting them in lightroom first and doing "show in finder" but noticed that only works with one image at a time. Is there any other way to pull up multiple raw images in finder through lightroom? Thanks!

Hey, I have several hundred RAW shots, each with a person in a landscape. This person is sometimes more, sometimes less far away. So sometimes more, sometimes less large in the shots. To ensure that there is not too much landscape and that the person is in the foreground, I always manually crop the image so that only the person is shown (with space on all sides, of course).Of course, this is a laborious task, picture by picture. Is there therefore an automated option? For example, Lightroom can mask subjects or mask the background:   If I could reverse the masking, expand the area and then crop - all automatically instead of manually - that would be a great help.Any tips or tricks or plugins or anything like that? The final result should look like this: Have a nice Sunday!mycc

After installation of LR6 (without problems) the program stop working directly after start with following error message:Unfortunatly in German:Here the details of my system on which it should run:I cannot see any reason why shouldn't work.Any ideas?Btw. all drivers are on the latest available update level.Thanks and cheersAndy

It's working as intended but it's doing a beep sound.Any possible solution other than muting the volume of the PC or muting the beep sound in control panel? Lightroom version 14.3.1Windows 11

Lightroom Classic 14.3.1, causes constant errors on my PC. The report analysis that Adobe does indicates that my PC is in optimal conditions. After seeing that the latest update of Lightroom does not work well and continues to make the same errors, even from a new catalog, I decided to format my PC to see if it was a Windows bug. But no I have a clean computer, freshly formatted and I have installed the latest version of Lightroom, and the errors persist. Lightroom errors cause system error files that fill up my C drive and I have to delete it every time from all the windows error files. Why do I see the second appearance of Photoshop in the Edit-in menu?   I realize they work differently- [Edit in Adobe Photoshop 2025...]  opens a raw file direclty in Ps, and a [SAVE] automatically brings the file back to the LrC catalog. [Edit in Photoshop exe...]  first gives me the dialog to-   And  [SAVE] in Ps gives me the [Save As] dialog asking for destination and filename, and does not add the new file to LrC. (A folder synchronize is required).   My question was prompted by another user that had "Topaz" in the second (default?) choice. I have not added Ps as an Additional External Editor.  

I'm on a 2018 15" MacBook Pro (Intel Core) running Sequoia 15.5 OS. I use Lightroom Classic to tether to my Nikon D810 camera with a Tether Tools Tether Pro cable. The tethering function works appropriately (it sees my camera and imports the photos into Lightroom), but the tether capture remote control bar does not appear when I start the tethering function, and I can't figure out how to get the bar to appear. Selecting command T doesn't do anything, and I've uninstalled and re-installed Lightroom as well as updating to the latest OS on Mac, but still don't see the bar.   I have used the Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 app (before Lightroom upgraded its functionality to directly tether Nikon cameras), and that software is still on my laptop. I don't think it's a setting on my camera that would prevent Lightroom from controlling it remotely, as the remote control option in the Camera Control Pro 2 app seems to works fine when connected to my camera.    Thank you for your help.

Every time I try to sync my laptop stuff to my iPad I keep getting the something went wrong message someone please help me I don't know what to do I tried restarting the iPad tried deleting then redownloading the app again nothing works so please let me know if can help

Hello, I am running into problems with my AI de-noise taking a extremely long time (>699 minutes). This is stumping me because it was previously working only taking about 20 minutes to denoise 60 photos but I changed drivers by updating and suddently its taking forever. Nvidia RTX 4070 AMD Rzyen 7 3700 8 Core 128 gigs of ram   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Is there a way to install LrC and PS to external drive instead of storing on internal drive?

I have continued to have this very intermittent issue. For some unknown reason when I go to sync changes from one image to multiple images in the Develop Module it no longer works. The sync screen selection options doesn't come up and the nothing else works. There is a chime that rings with every attempt to enter another option. I have found that pushing escape allows me to continue with everything else other tahn the sync option.Previously with my perpetual liscence, on advise from an adobe expert  I would navigate to C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences\Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs and rename Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs.OLD and the problem was fixedBut now in Lightroom Classic the problem has recurred for the 1st time and I am wondering what the fix is??Please adviseMark

Lightroom Classic and Lightroom are not syncing. I've cleared all the erros in LrC and this has not resolved it.Its something that 'just happened' and I cannot find the reason 'why'. Both apps are up-to-date Any help would be be appreciated.

Hola a todos, llevo dos semanas hablando en inglés con el soporte técnico, ya que de buenas a primeras las previsualizaciones del apartado Library, han dejado de mostrarse. Al igual que cuando intento importar nuevas imágenes tampoco aparece. La cosa que en la ventana de Develop si muestra las imagenes pero no me deja editar fotos, ya que hace cosas raras y no guarda los cambios. El servicio técnico ha hecho de todo, mirarme la caché, el espacio en Lightroom, darme permisos a todo los admins relacionazos con Adobe, han creado un catálogo nuevo y lo han envíado a los técnicos, que de primeras se olvidaron de enviarme, y al reclamar de nuevo por tercera vez me lo enviaron. Tampoco ha dado resultado, hoy he estado una hora y media escribiendo con otro técnico que incluso a desinstalado el programa, ha instalado versiones posteriores, copiado o mejor dicho duplicado carpetas al mi escritorio, por si el problema venía de mi Hard Drive y yo he probado muchos de mis catalogos que tengo y sigu

I need an expert's opinion and advice.... What would normally take just a few minutes now goes on for hours of incredibly slow backup time when it gets to this... 'presets' part of the backup of the lightroom catalog. Is it necessary to include this? My take on it is that it is incredibly encrypted so it making the backup software work hard to actually reproduce and backup... Yes, it does backup successfully and eventually, but I'm thinking I'm wasting time backup up the Lightroom catalog this way. Not backing up the actaul files as they are on external drives but just the 'catalog' that Lightroom uses to locate and sort and organize what is in the catalog. Someone who understands what is going on, do I need to go through this long abnormal backup process of 'presets', or, do you have anything to say or recommend... Tia, Ken

Good AfternoonI notice in the last couple of weeks that when I upload photo to lightroom classic, some are missing total grayed out. When I look on my memory card they are there.

Très fluide avec ce nouvel ordiJ'ai depuis mis à jour le drivre de ma carte vidéo mais rien n'a changé. J'ai pourtant une configuration plus que correcte je pense. Processeur Intel i7-14700KF 3.4GHz32 Go RAMCarte graphique Nvidia GeForce RTX3060 avec 12 Go RAM J'ai l'impression que je ne sius pas un cas isolé. 

I created an external hard disk to keep all of my photos (6,242) and catalogues, to make space on my laptop.. I have not worked on them for a year+ but need to continue to work on them. I updated my program to the latest version, and when I open it, I see the full program -- full file structure, categories, etc. and the total number of photos and numbers assigned to each catalog category, BUT NO PHOTOS! I just get the identification numbers and a grey screen for each. How do I get the lrcat to find the photos? ( I can go to a file and see each photo ... they are there, but the program does not find them).

Yesterday, for reasons related to Lr Mobile for iPad's limitations, I decided to flatten the folder structure of my Collections/Albums from Collection Set>Collection Set>Multiple Collections to Collection Set>Single Collection. So, for example, I went from Oregon (C Set)>Crater Lake (C Set)>2021 & 2022 & 2023—each of the latter being a separate collection—to Oregon (C set)>Crater Lake (combined Collection). I accomplished this in LrC by creating an entirely new Collection for each of my top-level Collection Sets and dragging all the images from the multiple older Collections into the newly created combined Collection. Then I deleted the old Collection Set and the Collections that they contained. I was not always presented with a dialog box, but when given the option to keep the sync'd images from deleted Collections in All Synced Photographs, I chose "No", understanding (I believe correctly) that these images would remain in any other Collection to which

Estou editando 22.000 fotos e o processo de exportção está muito demorado e lento. Está levando 1h para 4.352 fotos e para 21.744 levando mais de 3h40. O que devo fazer? Meu computador é de alta performace já fiz tudo nele mas acho que é do programa da adobe. Algo não está bem configurado. Quem puder me ajudar antes de atualizar de 13.5 para 14.3.1 fazia 4.352 em 18minutos e 21.744 em 2h14.

I have been trying to input RAW images into an existing catelogue from an OM1. I can see the import registers the number of images and lists the folders but no images show up.  When I went to the folder on my mac they were ORF extensions but had an "S" for Topaz Sharpen.  I have removed Topaz but it still did it!  Having tried several times without success, I tried to import into a new catelogue.  This worked I could see the images and T Sharpening was nowhere to be seen.  Therefore concluding that there is something wrong with the original catelogue, but what.  I have been into the preferences and can see no link to Topaz Sharpening.  I would prefer to go back to my original catelogue but need to fix this import problem.  Help!!

I have LRC and Photoshop.LRC – 14.3.1 (2502505061331-b063faefPS – 25.12.3 20250415.r.1067 fof8f82 x64Both programs are freezing.This just started on 05/25/2025. Both programs have been up to date on updated software.I can not work with the programs freezing.What to do?

I have tried closing and restarting LR, which temporarily solves the issue (as does restarting the PC (Win 10). Flags (the white Pick ones) always appear in Loupe view or when using the filter in Grid view. This means some images I've flagged show up in Grid view only when using the filter, but not when all filters are off (which is very frustrating).  I've tried pressing J to see if that helps, but no dice. Lightroom Classic ver 14.3 Any suggestions?
