In my Lightroom Classic, the masks I make from one image to another are not copied and pasted. It says that the AI changes were not updated.

Hello. I renamed three folders in the Finder (Apple) outside of LR and rearranged their order. Stupid, because LR didn't recognize the folders and I couldn't link them. The Originals folder in LR now contained edited photos. This morning, after much online research, I synchronized the folders. Great, all the folders have been transferred, with the correct contents, but at the top of the menu in the Catalog, the original files are now listed, as well as the edited ones. Normally, the original photos are always there, and when I click on them and go to Develop, I see the photo along with what has been changed and developed. If I delete the edited version from LR, it also disappears from the Edited Photos folder. How can I remove the edited photos from the catalog without them also disappearing from the Edited Photos folder? Thanks for reading my question.
Editing sliders in LRC started slowing down and finally stopped working all together. Camera raw filter in PS works fine. I have been using Lightroom professionally for 10 years, and yesterday started having an issue that I have never had before, and it has seemingly completely prevented me from opening photos in Photoshop through Lightroom. (1) When I tried to open a Lightroom image in an externam editor (Photoshop 2025), I would first have to wait about an hour or more for the XMP to be written for all 200,000+ photos in my catalog. Then the image would open. If I tried to open another photo after that, the entire XMP writing process would start all over again. (See attached screenshot) (2) I went into Lightroom Catalog Settings and unchecked the "Automatically write changes into XMP". Then when I tried to open a photo in the external editor, I get a generic "Saving Metadata" message that just hangs and never completes. The image never opens in Photoshop. If I cancel the Saving Metadata process, the image also does not open in Photoshop. (3) Remedial action taken: -- I have deleted a

Applying Upright > Level in batch using Sync, Auto Sync, or a preset often produces results that are noticeably different than applying it or Crop > Auto individually in Develop. There appears to be no way to auto straighten a batch of photos consistently. Download the following catalog: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y5w7bv4ndn0fdl1/batch-level.2023.03.28.zip?dl=0 It has 9 masters, each with 5 virtual copies: Master: Crop > Auto straighten Copy 1: Upright > Level applied individually Copy 2: Upright > Level Synced with just Upright Mode selected Copy 3: A preset with Upright > Level, Upright Mode only selected, applied individually Copy 4: The same preset, applied in batch using Library > Quick Develop Copy 5: Upright > Level auto synced from another photo. The preset is stored in the catalog folder as "Upright Level.xmp". Here are the results of comparing copies 1 - 5 with the master (Crop > Auto). An "x" means that method produ

I have copied my photos directly from my Nikon D5 to a file on my computer. Try to import photos and LC doesn't see any files. I have been doing this for years and LRC has never acted like this.
I have tried uninstalling both Lightroom Classic and photoshop 26.8.1 and reinstalling both again (PS first). The bug continues. Any ideas????
Bug Description: When using the Crop Overlay tool in Lightroom Classic, there's a visual glitch: after cropping one image and navigating to the next, activating the crop tool again shows the previous image, not the currently selected one. The bug persists even after reinstalling, resetting preferences, and testing clean catalogs. Steps to Reproduce: Open any image in the Develop module. Use the Crop Overlay tool and apply a crop. Move to the next image in the filmstrip. Click the Crop Overlay tool again. Lightroom displays the previous image in the crop overlay, not the current one. Expected Result: The crop tool should load the currently selected photo so it can be cropped normally. Actual Result: The crop overlay still shows the previous image, making cropping impossible on the new one unless you reset the view or restart Lightroom. 💻 System Information: Lightroom Classic Version: Latest (installed via Adobe Creative Cloud) Operating System: Windows 10/11
Until now I have used denoise function to enhance photos. Now it´s suddenly not working. When I click on denoise it looks like it´s enhancing the photo but afte a few seconds it stops and nothing happen. What happened? Photos are in RAW format. I use Windows. Maybe I have clicked on something and changed settings.

I am looking for a shortcut for the new denoise Function in Lightroom Classic (no DNG intermediate step anymore necessary) - it would be a game changer on a button of the Loupdeck+ !!!
I am using LRC 14.4 in my Creative Cloud plan. The lens is a Sigma 70-200m f2.8 with a Sigma TC1411, mounted on a Canon 7D. The lens/TC combo is listed in Sigma product list. Is there a simple adjustment, either on the Camera or in LRC that will help to correctly ID the lens? When I look at the image properties, I only see the Lens Model as 98-280, which is correct considering the Sigma TC1411 When I use my 70D with a Canon lens, LRC has no problem getting it correct.

I noticed there is a third party plugin called: https://www.evlaa.com/ why on earth in 2025 are we still using crappy web galleries designed 20 years ago? Why should i need a third party program to do something you guys should have done 10 years ago? Why is there not: a. AI powered separation of a photo shoot into collections using facial recognition b. automatic generation of web galleries based on those collection names (last name of person for example) c. a client rating system that will let them drill down, compare favorites, and email me their selects d. A better looking modern design of the web galleries where the clients can zoom, view full screen, etc. It's great to use Adobe AI to remove powerlines, and turn horses into zebras and unicorns, but implementing these other real world features would actually save us time and money for working studios. Thanks. Robert S.
Is anyone else having issues with Lightroom edits disappearing and not even reappearing when you "re-render" masks and removal tools? I have spent not a small amount of time editing and then when I switch even between pictures, my edits disappear and require me to re-render the AI tools I've used only to have them not re-render (such as vegetation and sky masks, and spot/people removal). I have been trying to trouble shoot on my own and to date have tried the following:Checked to be sure I have the latest Lightroom Classic versionChecked the integrity of my catalogue (all good)Checked to be sure I was editing the Original vs. Smart Preview Checked GPU settingsCHecked Memory PressureDid some Cache Management - purging the cacheDid a resest of Lightroom PreferencesCHecked to be sure my Mac was up to date on all of its system settings.Nothing has worked and its extremly frustrating. I don't have time to constantly edit and re-edit my pictures. Is anyone else h
Hi All,Please can you send me advice on what desktop PC will operate with Literoom Classic. My NUC computer has started to grind to a halt and it took 3 days to download 2000 pictures from my Canon R5.A suggested build would be great
Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my Lightroom Classic (version 14.4) catalog and was hoping someone might be able to help or has experienced something similar. My catalog contains photos from several cameras. In the past, I processed some RAW files from my Olympus OM-D EM-5 using the Develop module. However, when I revisited those images yesterday in the Library module, they appeared completely flat—like unedited RAW files. All previous Develop settings, including the selected profile, seem to be missing. For context, the RAW files are stored on a network drive (NAS). I’m wondering if this might be part of the problem. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a way to recover or restore the lost Develop settings? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!
Hello, someone can help me to solve the following problem? As a cause of that it says: WRONG AUTHORIZATION What does it mean? What shall I do to open a back-up copy of a catalogue? Thank you if someone can help me Ciao for ItalyUgo
Description: I have a substantial 31,000-photo collection in Adobe Lightroom Classic 14.4, running on an Apple MacMini M4 Pro with 48GB of RAM. My photos are stored on an external 10TB RAID 01 and the Lightroom Classic Catalog is stored on a Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB. I’m interested in culling this collection using my iPhone and a Chrome tablet, but I’m unsure about the best approach.Culling a collection on mobile devices is valuable to me because it frees me and allow me to work away from my mac mini. My understanding is that I need to upload all the photos to Creative Cloud to accomplish this. However, I believe this is overkill since I only require a lightweight preview for culling, not the full-resolution photos. Is there a way to transfer previews to the cloud so that I can cull using various devices and then sync the metadata back to the Adobe Lightroom Classic catalog running on my MacMini? Alternatively, could I create a Lightroom Classic catalog of compressed previews
After updating to Lightroom Classic 14.4, I opened my working catalog and discovered that edits to many JPEG files had disappeared. Here's what I experienced: The History panel still shows all my previous adjustments But the Develop sliders are all reset, and the image preview is unedited This only affected JPEGs, not RAW files My catalog had been functioning perfectly before the update I confirmed this is a 14.4 issue by: Opening a backup catalog in 14.3.1 — all edits displayed correctly Returning to the most recent catalog (used in 14.4), the edits were still invisible Even importing metadata into the edited files didn’t fully restore them in the 14.4 catalog This is extremely disruptive. I'm a professional photographer, and this issue caused me to: Waste hours trying to recover edits Lose recent work from the broken catalog Downgrade my software just to get things working again, and lost edits between my last backup and the broken catalog System Info: Lig
