Lightroom Classic

Which version of Lightroom Classic suppports my Canon Pro 100 printer plugins. I am currentlly using LR Classic Ver 14.3. My Canon Pro 100 plugin stopped working about 6 months ago.

A few hours ago, I was writing a long question about  allowing Permissions to Lightroom Classic and it simply vaporized.Is there a way to find it? I saw that it was autosaved; can that stub post be found? 

I’m using Lightroom Classic v14.3.1 and ColorChecker Camera Calibration v2.2.0. I can create a Camera Profile for a DNG image taken with my iPhone 15 Pro Max and, after restarting Lightroom I can browse the Lightroom’s menu of profiles, find it and apply it to *that* DNG image.  When I Sync that DNG’s “Treatment and Profile” (or even use “Check All”) to other DNGs from that iPhone session, all except the image of the ColorChecker show that Profile but with (!) Profile Missing. Canon DNG’s working normally:  As has always been the case, my Canon 5D Mark III DNG image of the ColorChecker creates a profile which, after restarting Lightroom, then appears on the Profiles menu and that profile synchronizes to other selected DNGs.

I discovered that the "Named People" feature in Lightroom Classic (V. 14.3.1, and perhaps earlier versions) is not reliable in its current form.  I lost many hours of labor when about half my Named People failed to appear after I selected "Remove Face Region" from about 80 photos in the Unnamed People section of the screen.  I don't how that happened nor does an Adobe tech when I called for assistance.     Adobe-- let's fix this feature with AI to have photos imported from any source (i.e., camera, iPhone, scanned, screenshot, etc.) and then reliably ID the person's face.  Also, Adobe, make it so that Lightroom doesn't lose any of the Named People that were already identified.     Thanks!

Hello,I have creatuve cloud foto abo. Every time I try to start Lightroom Classic I get an Error 205.I tried to log out and log in. I tried to uninstall und install adobe creative cloud desktop and lightroom classicI used the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exeI also tried "/F "tokens=1,* delims= " %G in ('cmdkey /list ^| findstr /c:"Adobe App "') do cmdkey /delete %H" But I even now get this error. But I can use Photoshop without any problems.

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing an issue with Lightroom Classic (latest version as of today) on macOS (MacBook Pro with M3 Pro chip).When trying to export RAW files in .ARW format (Sony), I receive a generic error:“An unknown error occurred”The issue is resolved by completely disabling GPU acceleration in:Preferences > Performance > Use GPU for display and/or exportOnce the GPU is disabled, the export works fine, although performance in the Develop module is noticeably reduced.System Info:macOS Sonoma [insert exact version, e.g. 14.4.1]MacBook Pro 14" with M3 Pro (Apple Silicon)Lightroom Classic [insert exact version, e.g. 13.3]RAW File format: Sony .ARWHopefully this helps identify and resolve the bug.Thanks!

I want to import my photos from my laptop to my main computer. Both devices use LR Classic 9.1 and Mac OS 10.14.6 (Mojave).I opened my LR cataloge on my main computer where I wanted to import to and went to "Import from another catalgue ..." Choosed my LR catalogue on my laptop that I wanted to import. Now a it says that LR is not able to import this catalogue because it seems not to be a valid LR catalogue.I've done it this way since years in previous versions of LR and it always worked. Both catalogues are .lrcat files.Anybody can helb me? Thanks!

For a particularly challenging colour image, the LrC Monitor Gamut warnings are identical on my two monitors (set up as a dual monitor display) despite one monitor being an old sRGB display and one being a new 99% of Adobe RGB hardware calibrated monitor.They can't be identical. So what is going on here? Are LrC's warnings only applicable to whatever "main monitor" is allocated in the operating system? LrC 14.3MacMini2024 Sequoia 15.4.1EizoFlexScan S2411W and BenqSW272U   

Hi I have 2 different catalouges.1 catalouge that is my major catalouge, this catalouge is partly also synced to mu Adobe cloud.Second catalouge have I on my Laptop when I'm travelling , this catalouge is NOT synced and is set as Paused i the sync settings. Since som months ago I always get a warning/message when I'm startin the Lapotop catalougeI dont want to sync it so I press Cancel , and the it will come again next time I start this catalouge. Earlier this irritating message did not come after the setting was set to "pause" on that catalouge. *How can I resolve this ?

After I edit a photo in Lightroom (14.3.1) I name the photo then export it to my hard drive (one drive) in a folder of my choice.I then delete the photo from Lightroom but not from the disc.  Later I find a bunch of files in my Recycle Bin and I am not sure if that is due to my deleting the photo from Lightroom.  Here is what I find in my recycle Bin (a small sample)  Do you think I can safely delete all of this to free up my Recycle Bin?   

I have watched videos on how to use AI in Lightroom Classic, but I don't see the AI option in my version which is 14.3.1.  It is running on Windows 11 Pro, Release 24H2.    I would appreciate your expert tips 🙂

I would like to request assistance regarding the Select Subject feature in Adobe Lightroom Classic. I've tried using various photos, but whenever I click on Select Subject or Select Object, a short loading animation appears for about one second and then disappears—however, nothing happens afterward. The mask remains empty, and no part of the image is selected. I am using the latest version of Lightroom Classic, which I just downloaded yesterday from Adobe Creative Cloud. I kindly ask for your help. Thank you very much.

Hello, The Lightroom Classic app has a greyed-out traffic sign in the logo. Whenever I try to open it, the same message is displayed" The app Adobe Lightroom Classic can not be opened, because it is possibly damaged or incomplete." I've started my Mac twice in safe mode. The logo is displayed the same. But I can't click the app. I'm using a Macbook on OSX 14.0 and I've tried to install (and uninstall afterwards) multiple Lightroom Classic versions up to 13.0.1. I'm hoping someone is able to help!   

HI - I am using Lightroom Classic CC and suddenly when I delete my images they are not showing in the recycle bin.  What has happened and how do I put it right please?Many thanks

Hi there, anybody experienced slow-loading thumbnails in a library section? I use a Mac mini m1 with 16GB RAM. Before lightroom ran smoothly, but after the last update it became extremely slow. I made smart previews for all the images and still in the library view the thumbnails are not loading fast. Another issue is that I get an error window every time when I close LR. 

I have the old desktop version of Lightroom Classic from before subscriptions existed. Because I've now graduated to à mirrorless, I'd like to get the latest and greatest LR Classic. I can't find a plan for LrC standalone and I'm wondering if it's not displaying it for me because of my old version. It only shows up for larger package deals. I just want the standalone computer version without the cloud. What am I missing? Does anyone have a link to share? Do I need to call and speak to them? Also wondering about my catalogs from the old version. 

My Lightroom classic display has suddenly gone awry and I have no idea how to get it back to what it was. See attached photo. I did have it set up to open up on my graphics tablet but now it's stuck on the iMac screen and I can't drag it back. There is no minimise or maximise buttons showing (the green, yellow, red) and the view is per the photo. I can't drag the edges to increase or decrease the display size either. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it immediately went back to this view. Can anyone help please? TIA x  

Hi all, My first post on here, I've been using Lightroom and Photoshop for years. All of a sudden, when I go to the crop overlay, it seems to auto set to custom aspect which for whatever reason is 1x1. I want to keep this as to as shot/original aspect ratio, as its always been before. This is usually 3x2, which I prefer anyway. I have tried going into custom and putting 3x2. But on the next image, when I go to the crop menu, its gone back to custom (1x1) as default. Does anyone know how I default this back to as shot?I have never changed any default crops, neither have I cropped to 1x1 previously so not sure why this has started. Cheers in advance. Sam 

The filmstrip does not show all the images, even when in fullscreen mode, the last image either gets cut off or it's hidden. I had to use the arrow keys to get to the last image. I tried resizing the whole window, but nothing helped. Did I miss something? 

Is there a way to adjust on export?  I use 2 different print labs for events.  One lab looks good but the other I have to increase my temp by 500 and decrease my exposure by 10 for everything to look correct.  Is there an easy way to do this?  Images are close but not all the same so sync will not work. 

I have import preview setting "Embedded and Sidecar"Generate standard previews while cpu idle turned offLRC still randomly starts generating standard previews while I am culling images.

I edit in Luminar AI and Luminar Neo from time to time. I right click in LR to edit in, do my editing in Luminar AI or Neo and when I click apply in those programs, the newly edited picture is not showing up on my strip in LR. The stack is there, with just duplicates of the original image. I've looked all through LR and unfortunatly Luminar AI and Neo do not save the photo to their system because it is supposed to be exported back to LR, I did the latest updates today for all Adobe products.

Working in develop mode. Deleting one photo causes all photos after this one to be deleted and moved to trash. In order to restore them need to do import again. This phenomina happened twice in the last two days.

After updating PS and LR ,deleting an object do not does his job anymore.It REPLACE things I like to delete.Can I fix this?LR 14.3PS 26.6
