Lightroom Classic

Hi all, I'm using LRC version 14.3.1, but I'm unable to get synchronization to function properly. I've attempted to 'rebuild Sync Data,' paused and restarted sync, but nothing has resolved the issue. In the top right corner, it indicates that everything is synced, yet in the collections pane on the left, there are no sync icons next to the collection names. I've been editing my photos, removing only background people in both lightroom (Classic) and photoshop (2025).  No other edits. This is on my MAC OS 14.2.1. When I download them and view them on my iPhone next to the original, the edited version is dimmer.  It's not about calibration because I'm not making any edits other than removing items from the background.  And I'm viewing the Original Photo right next to the Edited Photo on my same iPhone.  Why is Adobe doing this and how do I make it stop?  It's the same dim effect whether I use Lightroom or Photoshop.  Exporting to RGB Color in photoshop and sRGB in Lightroom, I believe.

I'm constantly making new metadata presets for different events in LrC, but a lot of the information I fill in is the same each time (my name, email, phone, yes it is copyright me) -- can I keep this same-every-time information autofilled so it'll carry over into every new preset I make?  Thanks.

I had a computer crash; it is fixed now.  I installed LRC and went through my backups and imported pictures.  Unfortunately, I see many folders with question marks and photos with exclamation marks. Finding them one by one would take weeks. If I get a list of all missing pictures from one catalog, I can tell Windows to find them by file name or some other unique identifier, and save them on my pc.  Then it would be easy to point LRC to one file or folder to find the missing pictures.  I looked online and called LRC Support. I could not find anything online, and the LRC support told me it cannot be done. I have to locate each picture individually (I know that if I see a photo, LRC looks for other photos in the same folder).  I find it hard to believe that a s/w, any s/w won't log the missing info, save the errors, ... such as file name, and other info somewhere in the s/w.  Help please!Thank you,--A.

I've accidentally removed a collection from lightroom, but the images remain in the catalogue. I can add each one individually back into the collection, but there are more than 10,000 of them...Is there an easy way to find images NOT in a collection?Thanks,Andrew

Short version: Photos taken on my phone are synced with LR Classic. I then un-sync them to remove them from the cloud. If I then add these photos to a shared folder, LRC attempts to sync them again but the sync never finishes.   Work-around: Delete the photos (remove from Lightroom, leaving the actual photos on disk). Then add them back into LRC using the "Synchronise folder..." command. I'm using LR Classic 14.3 on a Mac (M1 Max).Recently I shot something where I ended up shooting the same angle of a building at different times of day.I organised the images (brackets of each angle) into stacks to make it easier to sort through but now I find that when I move the stacks around (sorting them into a "custom order" in Library grid) if one stack ends up next to another stack, LR will combine both stacks together....? If I move the stack between two unstacked images it will move and keep the proper stacking of the images. What am I doing wrong here?Any suggestions?

I am using Creative Cloud on Windows 10 - both updated editions. For some time, I have experienced an issue where I am unable to access the items from any drop down list.  I can use the system OK if I dont need to access a drop down menu.  I have reset, deleted and re-installed software.  I cannot refresh catelogue as that requires me to access an item from the drop down menu - very frustrating.  I dont think Windows 11 is fully supported yet is it?   Anyone experienced the same?   Thanks Lynda

After noticing switching images in Develop was significantly slower in 14.3 I did some further testing against 14.2 - in each case I did the following steps.Renamed Prefs, etc so app behaves as a clean installCreated a new catalogImported 480 images with minimal previewsSelected all images in Library and created 1:1 previews14.2 took 313s14.3 took 710sI also note that 14.3 seems to have a fix to stop thumbnails reverting to embedded previews and wonder if that fix has caused the new issue.Windows 11, 24H2 build: 26100.3775, Ryzen 3900x, RTX 3080, 64gb ram

LRC 14.3 on macOS Sequoia 15.4.1. My problem is that I have to update some AI settings several times and unexpectedly.

I’ve had an interesting thing happen with my most recent import of photos into Lightroom.  I took some photos and copied them to a new folder on my external hard drive using the naming format I always use.  Date (2025_05_12) – Description.  I then imported these photos into Lightroom, as I always do, using an existing collection.  After doing my edits, I exported the photos as JPEGS as I always do, creating a sub-folder within the original folder. When I went to copy those photos to my Dropbox for sharing, I could not initially find the exported photos.  After doing a check within Lightroom, I found that LR had created a completely new folder on my Microsoft OneDrive with just the date as the folder name and all of the photos from the original folder with new file names (untitled-2, etc.) for each of the photos.  These are the files that LR is pointing to for the edits.  This is also where the sub-folder was created with my JPEG copies of th

I am working on Windows 10 and have been a Lightroom user and Adobe CC user since the beginning. I have over 200,000 raw files imported into Lightroom. When "Collections" was added I immediately added unique collections to my Lightroom image structure and workflow. I always include at least one collection (Date / Country / State / City) in every import. I have been doing all of my editing directly in collections ever since. This includes rating my pictures. The good thing is that I see the lightroom edits in my DNG files regardless of where I am viewing them from. The frustrating thing is that I can delete files from the disk or remvoe them from the library in both the disk location and library location in Lightroom. However, I cannot delete from the disk when editing or reviewing files from my collections. I can only remove them from the collection. When I export I want the image size to be absolute Width and Height, thus changing the aspect ratio.Export doesn't do this what it does is resize to fit within the Width and Hight you specify but not change the aspect ratio.This isn't immediately apparent until you examine the exported file.A simple checkbox under Image Sizing titled (Lock Aspect Ratio) would immediately make this existing behaviour clear and give users the option to export a precise size image.

I have over 100K photos in the cloud via LR Classic. My LR mobile says it is synched with the cloud yet it shows less than 30K photos. Why?  

Good Morning-When leveraging the Batch HDR Merge functionality in LR Classic there doesn't seem to be a pop-up to set the deghost level before Lightroom kicks off the batch HDR merge process.Does LRC apply the last known deghost setting to the batch merge functionality (i.e. is the deghost setting "sticky")?I hesitate to use the batch merge functionality because this isn't well documented and I don't want to have to re-merge everything.Thanks!

use case: I want to browse a set of photos and incrementally add some keyword, this involves going back and removing the same keyword. Background: I am using Lightroom 14.3.1 (latest) on Windows (Windows 10 version 22H2 Build 19045.5737). Lightroom language is english. Feature in question: For quickly setting keywords, there is the "keyword shortcut" feature, which exists since at least Lightroom 6 and speeds up work a lot.I am aware that you must first press Ctr+Alt+Shift+K to set the "keyword shortcut", then you can press Shift+K on an in dividual picture to add/remove it.I am in Library module, Loupe view when I use this feature. expected behaviour: when pressing Shift+K, keyword is added/removed and a small popup is displayed. Popup similar to pressing "P" or "U", giving "Flag as Pick" or "Remove Flag". actual behaviour: the shortcut keyword is added or removed but I see that only if I have the "keywording" panel open. Updated my Lightroom Classic to the newest version 13.3.1 but now encountering issues with the Remove/Heal/Clone tool. Even with the Generative AI and Object Aware features unselected, neither one of the tools can effectively remove a simple water spot in my image. 

I was using lightroom for over an year. Recently when I tried to use it again and imported my pictures, it's adding too much texture to the images. I am not an expert at lightroom but I can't get it to the normal texture as camera or what it was used to before. I am sure it's not same as earlier. I tried importing old raw pictures, it's doing the same thing to those as well now. All the settings are at default as usual. So, this doesn't help. Tried both Adobe and Camera filter for importing. Nothing works. Something changed in last 2 - 3 weeks. I don't know what it is but I couldn't edit my project anymore. I tried googling it I couldn't find any help. Everything is at default. No Develop settings while importing. I need help.

Over the last month I've build my self a pc tower to run LRC, PR and PS, which it does at lightening fast speeds  However, ive recently put a 2tb m.2 SSD western digital blue drive in and lrc wont show it on import window, but if I manually locate it within the same window (by clicking the bar at the top) it finds and is able to import photos, is there a reason LRC can't find it on import window or did I do something daft   Pc specs are  Ryzsn 9 7900X Gig rtx3060 12gb Corsair DDR5 ram (64gb) Asus ROG B650 Mobo Samsung 990 1TB ssd (which it can see) WD blue 2tb drive (Which it can't see)WD blue 500gb drive (which it can't see either) WD blue HDD 3tb (Which it CAN see)
