Lightroom Classic

Recently I received an update to lightroom Classic, ver 14.2. For some reason when I start it, nothing happens. It shows up in task manager as running but it's nowhere on my desktop or task bar. All my other programs are fine including photoshop. I removed and reinstalled twice to no avail. .Any ideas. LrC Version 14.2 Camera Raw 17.2Windows 11 Home Version 24H2. Alle Bilder werden beim Import in DNG umgewandelt. Die Raw-Dateien werden gesichert."virtuelle Kopie anlegen" ist im Menü ausgegraut.

Hello,I would like to clarify which version of Lightroom Classic is actually included in the €14.74/month plan.On the website, it is advertised that Lightroom Classic is part of the plan for €14.74/month (billed annually), but when I try to start the free trial, it only offers me the cloud-based version of Lightroom.Then I found that Lightroom Classic is actually only available as part of the "Photography Plan" for €24.19/month. This feels misleading, as the advertisement clearly suggests Lightroom Classic is included in the cheaper plan.However, when I look at the detailed comparison or plan information, Lightroom Classic is once again shown as being part of the €14.74 plan. It’s all very confusing, and I would really appreciate a clear answer – which version(s) of Lightroom are actually included in the €14.74/month plan?Thank you very much in advance for your help. 

I have been using Lightroom Classic on both my MacBook Air and mainly my iMacPro.The correct Nikon Z lens has been showing correctly in the list of lenses as:Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G ED VRBut for some reason after a recent shoot the iMac only shows a tiny list of Nikon lenses, and none of them are remotely close to being mine. I have tried re-installing Camera Raw which hasn't made any difference. I have also tried looking to find the correct profile on my MacBook Air but I can't find where the mac stores them so no joy there either. Any solutions?(Other that delete all the preferences and start again which in my experience never works)Thank you in advance!

In the middle of a tethered session to Lightroom Classic, the images will no longer save to the SD card for a random period of time. They are saved in the proper session folder on the laptop with the previous shots. Then it will radomly start saving again on the card, usually after I have turned the camera on and off.I have had this problem ongoing for a couple of years, on both the Canon 5D with a CF card, and the Canon R5 with an SD card. I am not changing anything mid shoot. Also, for the images that don't save to the card, the file numbers start over at 0001, but when it starts saving to the SD card again, it picks up with the last number that was saved on the card. This is maddening.Lightroom is up to date. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and it still happens.If anyone has any insight I would much apprectiate it.

Hello,   LR Classic is extremely slow. Opening takes rather half an hour. Trying to export a file takes 10 minutes ore more just to open the file selector.   May be this happend with changing the SYNC conditions? I found some LR sync files in Trash but I did'nt move them there...???   I`m working with LR Classic 14.2 Raw 17.2 MacBook Air M4 macOS 15.4   I have already tried to - optimize catalogue, - clear RAW cache   nothing helped.   Kind regards,   Wolfgang  

Dans LR, quand je clique sur : Modifier dans Adobe Photoshop 2024, l'interface PS s'ouvre (page d'accueil) mais pas la photo comme ça a toujours été le cas. J'ai toutes mes applications à jour

I have been using LR for at least 10 years. I'm not newtoday I cannot import any new photos.I have started and restarted and updated everything. When I try to import into LR the import window can see all of my folders, but not any photos. It doesn't matter which drive or folder I click on LR is showing now thumbnails of my photos. Normally you have to click on a thumbnail to choose that one to import, but if there are no thumbnails then there is no import. usually you see a bunch of thumbnails and you can check all or uncheck all, or just one and then import. But today there is nithing to check or uncheck. I can see all the old photos in my catalogues but I cannot add (import) any new photos to any catalogue. 

I'm having issues connecting lightroom to pixelsugar. It seems I am able to "connect to lightroom" and choose a photo to "edit in>lightroom" but when pixelsugar opens it doesn't give me the option to export the photo back into lightroom. I've contacted pixelsugar to no avail, they said it doesn't seem like it is connected to lightroom. Anyone else having these issues? Thank you.

I realized I wasn't the only one having trouble moving photos from one folder to another. After much experimentation, I found that this happened with color photos, not those converted to black and white. How can I fix this problem ?

On the left side of the Library Module, It shows a total of 7113 images in my catalog. Lower down in Folders (everything organized by date), all years (except 2015) show a count of 0 images in each folder (year). Opening up yearly folders show a count of 0 images per month, but opening those up by date show all the images in them. Up until a few weeks ago, I would see correct counts at all levels and clicking on just a year or a month would show all the images (as well as correct count) in that folder. 

I thought a recent update, maybe February, had a duplicate finder function. I haven't been able to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LrC 14.2 on MacStudio, OS 15.3.2 began crashing shortly after opening today.  I have had this issue before, about a month ago, and was able to resolve by ininstalling then reinstalling LrC. It worked fine up intill this morning. I first attempted a computer Restart, to reconfirm the issue, the uninstalled LrC from Creative Cloud, then another computer restart to reinstall LrC to Creative Cloud.. Note Creative Cloud is in my Computer startup routine and sometimes gets hungup on loading in and needs to be restarted. Any help would be appreciated. I have 25+ years of memories in my catalog.

The Identity Plate Editor in Lightroom Classic has become too long so I can't see the OK button

I have tried creating a master preset and setting it to default in edit > preferences. I turned off lense corrections but it still automatically applies a lense correction for my camera every time I import photos.

I recently purchased a Nikon Z9 and have not been able to see the location data (GPS) in the Lightroom Metadata section.  Accordingly, it does not give the map icon in the lower right of the thumbnail.  I have checked the location data in the custom preset. I know the camera is picking up the location data because it is shown on the camera information. I am saving files in NEF format. Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Hello,I am lighroom classic 14.2 et I have always problems for the fusion parorama or panorama HDR. In fact, Instead of going to the merge screen, Lightroom Classic generates a photo for each photo I want to merge. These photos are pretty much the same as the original photos. I needed to use fusion in photoshop.Dois-je repasser à la version antérieure ?

Boa noite, eu havia armazenado uma pasta com 1000 fotos em um hd e essas fotos ja faziam parte da biblioteca do lightroom, por algum motivo eu perdi as fotos do hd, mas elas ainda aparecem na aba biblioteca como previsualização, mas não é possivel exportar essas previews. eu gostaria de saber se de alguma forma eu consigo acessar os arquivos de previews do lightroom pra salvar essas imagens mesmo que em resolução menor

I tried transfering my images from my desktop to a portable drive. About 3600 images, using Import from Desktop to Portable drive, I let it do its thing all night. Checked this morning (viewing the Portable drive on my laptop) nothing there. So I decided to drag the folders (inside lightroom) to the new drive (it would only let me "Move" them). It did nothing with the exception of erasing my images. Is there anything I can do? Lightroom Classic 13.3.1 release   Thanks

I saw a video on YouTube that in the select object in the mask, it made a selection in the area, instead if I click it offers me the brush, from where do you change the selection method. Thanks

I just wanted to ask what components or parts of the system unit that are connected to enfusing or processing in LrC. I want to make my LrC enfusing faster. Processor is #1 I think, and what are the other parts to make my LrC faster? Thank you! 

I imported the 26 RAW-Pics for a spheric panorama out of the DJI Mini 2.The result after stitching the pics is very poor and looks like thisThere is an error in the bottom center. It seems, that the one only downward picture is not correctly handled. Is this a known bug or can someone help ?
