Lightroom Classic

Hallo zusammen, ich bin neu hier und habe mir vor etwa einer Stunde LR Classic mit 20 GB Cloudspeicher "gegönnt". Bezahlung via Paypal. Alle Bestätigungen etc. sind angekommen und das Benutzerkonto ist eingerichtet. Das Problem ist nur, dass ich im Downloadbereich beim Setup von LR jedes Mal auf eine Seite mit drei verschiedenen Abos geführt werde. Ich möchte ja aber keines dieser Abos mehr abschließen und lediglich mein erworbenes LR installieren. Hat da jemand eine Idee woran das liegen könnte? Hintergrund vielleicht dazu. Es gab bereits ein Adobekonto von mir an das ich aber nicht mehr gedacht hatte. Hierüber wird PS gelistet. I recently "upgraded" to Lightroom/Photoshop CC.  Within the last week when trying to select multiple images in Lightroom, I have not been able to.  Lightroom only lets me select one image at a time.  I cannot find any threads dealing with this in the forums.  Have I inadvertently turned these features off and if so, how do I re-enable them?  Restarting Lightroom does not fix the problem.   Thanks in advance.

HelloI recently notice a problem.This is my workflow:I always work on my photos by creating a folder with the photos selected from the job, the project catalog as well as the files exported and sent to the client.All this is on an NVME ssd to have the fastest possible access.Once the job is finished, the entire folder (catalog + raw photos) is moved to an archival hard drive. The catalog is sometimes reworked later and, at the end of the year, is imported into a general catalog.I'm using a dxo raw plugin for 3 months now without any problem.I used it on 2 yearly catalogs (daily life 2024 for example) at their primary location (on the SSD NVME).At the beginning of 2025 I moved those 2 catalogs on the archive HDD.As always, I can access the catalogs, work on it from the hdd, no need to locate the pictures again or so everything is fine except that I can't use the plugin as I used to.If I want to use my DXO raw plugin, I get the error message: an internal error has occurred: ?:0

Is there a way that I can use LR Classic and Photoshop (basically my Adobe CC desktop apps) without an internet connection?  I noticed while doing some tests, LR would check for an internet connection every time I launched it and if there was no connection, it would force me to quit the apps.  Same for Photoshop. I have an annual prepaid subscription so I would think that the apps would only need to check in periodically to see if your license is still valid or not, maybe once week, but not every time you launch the apps.  Is there a way around this?  I tend to travel to some areas where I may not have internet access but still want to be able to work in Lightroom Classic/Bridge/ACR and Photoshop while traveling. (I seem to remember in previous versions of LR classic and PS you used to be able to use the app without a connection but it would have to check in at least every few days -- required a connection every few days, but in it seems with the latest ve

I'm running Lightroom 14.1.1 and about a week ago it stopped reading one of my external hard drives. Nothing about the drive or its location has changed, and when I looked for a missing photo from the drive, the previous location is exactly the same as the current location (drive/folder/photo).  Any help is  appreciated.

Hallo, bei mir wird die Grafikbeschleunigung deaktiviert. Öffne ich LrC im Bibliothek-Modul wird meine GPU noch unterstützt, erst beim Wechsel ins Entwickeln-Menü wird sie daktiviert. When I start Lightroom Classic, it required sing in. When I successfully sign in and and confirm, it will not start - nothing happend. When I start again, it is the same. I've seen that theUnable to update collectionLightroom 6.6: An internal error has occurred: ?:0: attempt to index a nil valueerror has occurred quite a bit. I've read all the threads and responses.This is hapening to me only with the Facebook Plugin, I've exported to SmugMug and that works. The odd thing being that it will create the album in Facebook and upload 1 photo before giving the error and then stopping.Is it known why yet?

I am using LrC 12.4.  I am currently creating a photo website using LrC and Portfolio.  I have read many webpages from Adobe and others with info on how to do it and also watched multiple tutorial videos.  I understand the basics and have created part of the website already, but it it not ready to be published.  I am having a problem with regards to the photo order in the website grid view. In LrC I have a collection of photos for one of the photo albums on the website.  I have them sorted by capture time with the newest on top.  I then synced the collection to the cloud.  After that I went to the Portfolio website, created a new page selecting the Lightroom Album option that pulls the photos from the cloud and puts them in a photo grid page on the website.  The information I read said the photo order on the website would match the photo order in the collection on LrC.  Unfortunately, it appears there is a bug because something weird is

For as long as I can recall, the left sidebar in Lightroom Classic jumps around seemingly at random when doing organizational tasks. Having hundreds of collections, this becomes incredibly frustrating when having to scroll back to find your place among the folders you were creating, naming, or dragging images into. Is there any fix for this?? It's one of the most annoying UI bugs I've ever experienced and drastically slows down workflows.

Hi,  I've imported some images from a Leica Q into Lightroom Classic. Under the Develop Module, when I checked off the lens corrections check boxes for the image I see, it has the Leica for a phone, Leica M, R, S, but no Leica Q listed. Does anyone know how to add the Leica Q profile to the Lightroom Classic program please? Tx.

Hallo, in Lightroom Classic habe ich folgendes Problem: bei Importierten Jpgs taucht plötzlich folgende Fehlermeldung auf: "beim lesen dieses Fotos ist in Lightroom ein Problem aufgetreten". Das Foto ist mit einem weißen Ausrufezeichen auf schwarzem Grund versehen und lässt sich nicht mehr öffnen oder bearbeiten. Wenn ich es lösche und neu importiere bleibt der Fehler bestehen, bzw. wird schon beim Import angezeigt, dass für das betreffende Foto keine Vorschau vorhanden ist. Es sind relativ beliebig Fotos durch meinen kompletten Katalog hindurch betroffen. Alle betroffenen Fotos wurden früher ganz normal angezeigt und waren bearbeitbare. Was kann ich machen?

After several years of use, a problem has arisen: The same folder is repeated twice without the naming system having been changed. In addition, both folders show that the content is only 1 image while there are actually 40 images in the folder. Both folders point to the same location on my Windows PC. When I tried to remove the duplicate, both folders disappeared. When re-importing, the exact same thing happened again. This does not apply to any of my other folders. If I click on the + sign next to Folders and select "Path From Volume", the order changes, but both folders are present. How do I get rid of this double folder and get the correct number of images in the folder? When Synchronize Folder, there are no images to import - everything is present. I have tried to document the problem in the attached document.I don't know when this happened and how.Cheers, Finn

Hi everyone on the forum,The tethering of my Nikon d850 stopped working on my Dell laptop. The laptop finds the camera, but not tethering in Lightroom. It works fine to tether when I connect the camera to my office desktop PC. I have tried everything in the two Adobe articles https://adobe.ly/3O1RYVQ and https://adobe.ly/2JSym5e. I have all the latest updates and drivers.Please help; this has a HUGE negative impact on my professional work.All the best!//Jonas

I would like to create a pdf from the album I created in the Lightroom classic web app.There are options to share the album.I would like to export the album using the grid proposed by the app but in a format I can use offline (PDF). Thank you for your help, Pascal

The Control and the Shift keys are not working to select multiple photos in LR Classic. The problem is intermittent but very annoying.I have searched this forum with no solution.Should I re-install LR?

When I switch catalogs in order to sync a different set of images, the sync downloads everything online to the new catalog. How do I stop this behavoir? I only use the online galleries to send photos to clients, freinds and family. The files I put online need only be available online if that makes sense? Thanks for the support Henry

this week my NEF images are not  opening from LR classic into PS 2025 as a raw file so I have no access to the adaptive presets. This worked 2 weeks ago, but is definitely not working now. in  LR I right click untouched image, choose load in PS as smart object. 2 weeks ago the image loaded in PS camer raw. now it just loads straight into PS and I can't acces the adaptive presets. These images are from an IR D3400.  

I would be very grateful for help on the following issue.I have had Lightroom 5.7.1 for many years, and have used it regularly.The catalogue has about 57000 photos.This morning on opening the software, it looks as if everything has disappeared.I attach a screen shot.it is literally a blank screen inviting me to "import".I am aware that 5.7.1 is no longer supported, but understood that it was was stand-alone and that I had control.Is this an abnormal situation (it certainly seems so) ? And if so can I recover 5.7.1 as before ?If not, my only concern is to be able to have the existing catalogue recognised by whatever new version I need to turn to.Any help will be most appreciated.

I have 486 files in my slideshow, they were all shot on manual mode so every shot has identical settings.I have tried exporting with the 29.97 template and the LR5 Timelapse Template and I always end up with a few flickers of black screen in the video.It doesnt matter if there are just 486 files or 3987, i get the same result, the first couple of seconds have the flicker.I'm using Lightroom CC 10.1.1 with windows 10has anyone found a fix for this?

Hello, I'm a Lightroom Classic (14.1.1) user on a Mac (Sequoia 15.2).  My primary library is currently on an external RAID configured (1+0) SSD hard drive.  This drive is currently FULL and I have a new drive (same configuration, just larger).  I have followed the instructions on how to move libraries within LRC.  However, it is so SLOOOOOOOOOwwwwwwwww.  At this rate, it will take aproximately two weeks to transfer it all over.  Is there a faster way to accomplish this without losing my flags or adjustments?If I were to just use Finder (in Apple OS), transfer my images over to the new drive and get LRC to find the new location, would the flags or adjustments be still there? Thank you in advance.

I am currently using LR Classic on my Mac desktop  (with the latest OS)I intend to sync my LRCat file and photos to Icloud. Changes are then made on my LRCat file on my computer. Once syncing is completed, will those changes in my LRCat file (on my desktop) be reflected when I open up LR Classic on my laptop? (ie will the change in my LRCat file be sybc across my various devices?)  Thank you for your help.

Dear Users, can you help or give me some advice what to do with Lighrtoom Classic slowing down throughout the process of editing photos, so much that it's becoming impossible to use. I have a computer well fit for graphic work (iMac 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 Processor, Radeon Pro 570 4 GB, memory - 64 GB 2400 MHz DDR4, Ventura 13.7.1 OS). While editing photos, LC runs quite well for the first 15 mins or so, but then - especially when I'm using masks, lens blur or a remove tool - the computer fan gets really loud and the program slows down, up to a point when I have to wait 10 or 15 secs for any move to be implemented. It becomes impossible to precisely use almost any of the tools... I'm forced to quit fork for 10 mins or so, so that the app recovers and starts working again. But then the slow-down story repeats again. My friend adviced me to increase the cache to 40 GB (in the LC settings), which I did. Didn't help. Runs well for the first 15 mins or so, then gets loud, slows dow
