Lightroom Classic

I have been building a book and noticed that when exporting to PDF the last photo does not display its chosen photo text which is the Title metadata in the PDF file. However if I add a blank page after the last photo then it displays the text. I have not included the PDF file as it is very large with 91 pages when it does not work and 92 with the extra blank page.

Is anyone else getting ugly wrong colors from dngs of the Xiaomi 15 Ultras main cam? It looks fine in Lightroom Cloud Software, but Classic (14.0.1) gets the white balance wrong, I can switch to "auto" and back to "as captured" which makes it look correct, but it won't stick, next time it's wrong again, and then even carries over to the Cloud LR software. Whats going on?

Hi, I have a lot of catalogues and they ocupy a lot of space. Whice ones can I delete:Also, I have never really used the catalogues. Can anyone recommend a decent place where I can learn about them and how to, retroactively, implement them?

I am using Lightroom Classic v14.2 on Win 10, with no automatic face detection enabled in preferences. By accident I pressed something on keyboard and got served the face detection menu where both of the options basically start the face detection process, which I personally think is a very bad design choice. After choosing the lesser evil option for face detection only when i want it, the LR started churning the disk and trying to detect faces in the folder I was in (about 4k pictures from a carnival). There was no way to stop it, as the process line (near the identity plate) had no pause or X button to kill it. The process went on for about 4 hours, during which time I was completely unable to work in LR, as it was freezing whenever I tried to click on anything.  Needless to say, I am quite unhappy with the event where I can't opt out or stop a background process that makes the whole LR unusable for hours.  Have I missed some way to kill it? Hallo,   ich habe eine Frage bezüglich der Skalierung von Lightroom auf meinem zweiten Monitor. Ich nutze ein Surface mit 3000 x 2000 Auflösung (Skalierung 200%) und habe einen zweiten Monitor mit 1920 x 1080 Auflösung (Skalierung 100%). Auf meinem Surface ist alles super. Mein Monitor ist mit allen anderen Anwendungen auch super, nur Lightroom wird viel zu groß dargestellt (Beispielfoto im Anhang, zur Einschätzung der Skalierung habe ich ein kleines Einstellungsfenster offen). es scheint, als stellt nur Lightroom die Skalierung nicht um, alle anderen Porgramme werden beim Wechsel von dem 3000 x 2000 auf den 1920 x 1080 Monitor normal dargestellt. Dass es Probleme bei der Skalierung gibt, habe ich bei meiner recherche öfter gelesen, aber nur auf einem 4k Bildschirm.  Ich freue mich, wenn jemand eine Lösung dafür kennt!    Viele Grüße      

Mein Lightroom Classic öffnet sich nicht, sondern läuft laut Task-Manager nur als Hintergrundprozess. Ich vermute, dass das mit dem Update auf V 14.2 vor wenigen Tagen passiert ist. Grafiktreiber sind am neuesten Stand. Bin etwas ratlos, weil ich auch kein technisches Genie bin... Aber vielleicht hatte wer das selbe Problem und konnte dieses schon lösen. Hallo zusammen, ich schlage mich mit einem kleinen Problem herum unter Lightroom Classic. Ich nutze macOS auf einem iMac M4.Ich habe das Problem, dass ich beim importieren von Bildern, diese permanent auf die das Laufwerk des iMac geladen werden. Ich habe meine Bilder aber auf einer externen Festplatte, die direkt an den iMac angeschlossen ist.Ich habe nun versucht unter den Voreinstellungen bei Lightroom die Synchronisation einzustellen. Dort gibt es den Punkt. "Gib ein Speicher Ort für die synchronisierten Bilder von Lightroom an". Ich kann hier auch meine externe Festplatte auswählen.Leider wird bei jedem Neustart diese Einstellung wieder zurückgesetzt und Bilder werden direkt auf die Festplatte des M4 geladen. Ist das ein Fehler im System oder mache ich hier einen systematischen Fehler?Würde mich über einen Tipp sehr  freuen

After updating to 14.2 I have new problems with Lightroom Classic. Again! This time Lightroom causes continuous high disk usage, even though I am not doing anything. What's more export isn't working! When I try to do export, nothing happens. How to get Lightroom to work again? And it's not catalog drive, it's my photo storage.

Hi, I have a brand new PC with Win11, and i cant install Lightroom Classic or Photoshop because... an update is required! The error is:       Update required! If you would like to install Lightroom Classic, you must update your system.   That's when i try to download, not even when trying to install. There is no way to get more details on the error 😞   I looked at the requirements here, and my system seem to be meeting all of them. https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/system-requirements.html The only thing i could see is the 2Gb for a GPU. I dont have a dedicated CPU. Hi everyone, I run Lightroom Classic Desktop 14.2 (not LRC).By trying to start it a few minutes ago, it said "developing mode" is deactivated. I need to login. So I tried to log in. I had to type in my serial number, which I did - now its saying the number is wrong.Well its the one I have from my creative cloud abo.  My laptop doesnt support the latest LR version - so I am stuck. Adobe Help Center say, the version I run is still supported.Any idas on how to solve this?

HelloWithin the past month or so (as I haven't used Lightroom much during this time) half of my current catalogue has gone missing. They are not even displayed as greyed out on my current catalogue. These files are saved on an external hard drive, and always appear when I plug in that external hard drive, however now they do not. The files are indeed stll saved on my external hard drive, yet they are simply not diplayed in Lightroom Classic. I think the problem has come, as I recently asked 'One Drive' to back up all my files online. It appears that the Library path on my LrC catalgues and backups has now moved to to the folder in my one drive account on my PC's C Drive, and is no longer set to link to my normal catalogue which still also exists on the normal folder on my C Drive. (I can see this when I go to when I go to 'System Info' under Help menu). It's strange as the One Drive folder now created, is an exact duplicate of the previous one (Both are current and saved on my PC

Guten Tag, ich war bisher zufriedener Nutzer von LR 6.Nun habe ich, da mein Lightroom nicht mehr starten wollte (Fehlermeldung, daß die Creative Cloud nicht richtig funktioniere), notgedrungen eine Adobe ID erstellt und dann Lightroom neu gekauft.Jetzt habe ich Lightroom 14.2 Classic, mein alter Katalog ist auch importiert worden (hätte ich nicht erwartet, daß das ohne Reibung geht).Jetzt habe ich aber auch ein Abo für Lightroom. Kann ich das Classic 14.2 auch nutzen, wenn ich das Abo wieder kündige? Das Cloud-Dings brauche und will ich nicht.Gruss 

I have been struggling with this issue for about a month. When I am trying to import photos to Lightroom, the previews won't load for about 3 hours. I have tried importing them from the SD card as well as from my passport external hard drive. I have cleared out my hard drive on my Mac because I thought maybe it was too full, and got a brand new external hard drive. Any ideas as to what the issue could be?

All of a sudden, all but one photos in my current folder started showing a magenta-green moire pattern, which is most obvious in gray areas. Going back to a previous folder that I looked at just before now has the same problem. I have been zooming in and out in the Library module a lot. I have not done any edits (other that lens correction and CA correction on import.) An exported file (jpg, 1920X1440 px) also shows this moire pattern.  I am using Lightroom Classic 14.2 on a Macbook Air 2020 with an M1 chip. The OS is Sequioa 15.3.1 (24D70). I am looking at HEIC (12MB, 24 MB, and HEIF Max) and JXL  (ProRaw Max lossy and lossless) photos from an iPhone 16 Pro.  All these file types show moire patterns. Lightroom is curently using 6.8 GB. Moire patterns in previews are frustrating and makes exports unuseable. Here's the exported file and screen shot of the same file in the Library module:

Hey everyone .Im having problems getting my Nikon z7 (firmeare v3.70) to be found in LrC (v14.2) using my MBP (OS Sequoia 15.3.1) using a genuine teather tools lead.it did work but has since stopped, however it does still work using this kit and nikon's NX Teather app. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks Alex.

Lightroom sync is constantly showing 6 photos in: "Error". I don't have any detail aout what's the error. But their metada is syncing correctly: when I add or remove star or do some edits, I can see them on my other devices. But the LR Classic app always show sync errors for these 6 photos. The common point is that they are all DNG or TIF. I don't have any issue with RAW (NEF) or JPEG. I don't have any issue iwth my other DNG and TIF. Note that I have the original versions both in LR Classic locally and on the cloud. I have tried the following, without any luck: 1) Rebuild sync cache2) Remove photos from "All Sync Errors" collection, wait for the removal to sync, then add them back I start to think it is a bug regarding the sync status and the state of these photos in the Sqlite catalog and maybe the size ? Is there some API limits ? 

Ich habe einen LR Classic Katalog mit ca. 50000 Bildern. Plötzlich sind alle mühsam zusammengestellten Sammlungen auf Null gestellt. In einem älteren Backup-Katalog sind die Sammlungen noch vorhanden. Dort wurden die Originale allerdings nicht mehr gefunden. Wenn ich die Sammlung als Katalog exportiere und in den aktuellen Katalog importiere, werden sehr viele Bilder importiert, die bereits enthalten sind. Sie haben natürlich ihren Platz gewechselt, aber das müsste ich über "Fehlende Dateien suchen" u.U. manuell lösen.1. Wie kann ich Duplikate verhindern "Mögliche Duplikate nicht importieren" habe ich eingeschaltet.2. Wird die Sammlung wiederhergestellt oder erhalte ich die alten Bilder als neue chaotisch über den Katalog verteilt?3. Wie kann es passieren, dass die Sammlungen auf Null Bilder gestellt werden?Danke

Hello Everyone, I've remembered that in older version of Lightroom the Parametric Curves have had the modified Point Curve displayed as a 'baseline' for modifications instead of the default linear curve. So by using the parametric curve sliders, we directly modified the already adjusted Point Curve and got immediate visual feedback of it. This was viewed as a bug and was fixed accordingly.On the last comment in the linked thread it's said that:'Note that this was a bug in the display of the Parameteric Curve, not in how the actual slider settings were interpreted.'However, I disagree with the last few words. To this day, it seems to be the way the Parametric Curve is interpreted. In a quick experiement I've created a black to white gradient, then lowered the white point to 60 with the Point Curve.This puts even the brightest parts of the image into the Shadows section of the Parametric Curve.However, when I adjust the Parametric Curve, I can only affect the brightest parts of

I've been working with the Custom Metadata Panels functionality in Bridge, building out panels for future use for myself and my department. Is there any expectation that the Custom Panels functionality will be added to Lightroom sometime in the near future?  Or alternatively, is there a way to import the exported JSON file from Bridge into Lightroom?
