When I export book to PDF I get two PDFs, one of the cover and the other is the rest of the book. How do I get only one PDF of the entire book?

I currently have a 2019 i7 16gb MacBook pro. I need to upgrade as this is getting on a bit now and running denoise AI is taking roughly 7 mins on a 85mb raw image. ( 42mp Sony a7R iii ) I'm torn between getting another MacBook pro, Air or Mac mini with a M1 / M2 chip & 16gb ram. Would this be a big time improvement to run denoise AI ? I would potentially be open to windows options too if the money is right. Any information would be greatfully received. Many thanks
Hello brains trust, Re Windows 11. Lightroom Classic. I upgraded (I assume form v13-3) to v13-5.1 and when i opened it, it said i had the following error: 'Local Sync database damaged' and told me how to fix it..... well i did as instructed - https://helpx.adobe.com/au/lightroom-classic/kb/local-sync-database.html?trackingid=W6K8JK3M&mv=in-product - and when i re opened lightroom classic it opened a new catalogue. It also is now syncing my icloud (iphone photos), which it has never done before, and it will take forever, its about half way and has been going for a few hours now. All the 'collections' i had seem to be synced, and when i click on an image in the collections and then click 'go to folder in library' (from one of the collection photos) it takes me to a Folder called 'Other Lightroom Device' and sub folder 'Imported Photos'. Did not have this folder listed on previous version, and all of the collection photos came from the previous library. All original photo
Just upgraded today to the newest version of LR Classic and I notice that along with the Previews.lrdata file there is now a Helper.lrdata file. Anyone know what this file does? Is it important to keep it backed up? Or will it just re-create if deleted like the Previews.lrdata file?
Hello everyone, I have a problem with print sizes. I would like to printa 20x30cm format on a A4 sheet but i aways end up with a width of 20,5cm.I have an Epson P900, i must be missing something...
After much frustration with my C: drive space being eaten up like a hungry Packman, I found out there was about 95GB worth of crash dump files in AppData/Locallow/Adobe/CRlogs/dumps, and not the Roaming folder where there are also CRlogs/dump files - that's empty. So can anyone tell me why two places? I am rather curious. At least I now know why my disk space was disappearing!

Hi all, Just recently, I went to open Lightroom Classic on mac and it would continually fail to open. I tried to update, and this did not work. I tried opening older versions of Lightroom Classic and this did not work either. I was advised to uninstall, and then try reinstalling the app to no avail. I can still open Photoshop and Lightroom but lightroom classic is not working. My adobe creative cloud desktop is up to date. I have tried troubleshooting with the steps listed on the Adobe site, and I am not sure what else to do. Is there something I am missing? Thanks
Hello, Just for the sake of being able to use the masking features, I started using the LR classic and I still cannot use the select background/ subject and object features. We tried all the steps described in the forums. What am I missing? My Lr Catalog...Previews.lrdata is 380.55 GB and with the associated files (see attached image) it is 385.42 GB and it is clogging my MAC up. I cannot get anything done and need to know how ( or who can do it) to move it to an external hard drive. With all the other files on the hard drive I am left with to little room to work on my computer. I currently have 4 external hard drives connected.
its a long story but here it goes. on dec 11 I bought a new macbook pro, went into apple store we moved everything from my old macbook pro 13 in to this new one with a lighting cord. I used the new computer that evening to edit images in lightroom classic. i use external harddrives to store my raw images, the catalog i edited them in and the .jpgs I export when im finished editing. I used LRC the following thursday and friday. Monday I tried to open LRC and the icon bounced in the task bar and didnt do anything. I checked the force quit to see if it was running in the background, it wasnt. I made sure i was running on the latest operating software on my macbook. I am running on sequoia 15.2. I then checked the creative cloud and updated LRC. Tried to open it again and it wouldnt open. So i restarted my computer. tried to open it again and it did nothing again. so i uninstalled and reinstalled, again nothing. i restarted computer, still nothing. I contact apple support, thehy say call a
Hi, I had an app specific password setup for my gmail that allowed me to send pictures but also had my address book auto fill email addresses. It recently stopped working and though I have been able to get a new password and send emails again, the address book is still not syncing. Does anyone know how to fix? thanks [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
Lightroom Classic has been arbitrarily changing an images capture date, shifting it by a few hours consistently. It only does this (from what I have gathered) to photos that are synced and accessible in the cloud (i.e. Lightroom Cloud integration via collections), and have edits made to them. I have been struggling with this on a daily basis. I edit a photo. Suddenly the photo becomes out of order. I realize the capture date's metadata shifts forward by about 4 or 5 hours. I physically change the capture time to be accurate. From here, the new date will either stick (until I edit the photo again), or it will just immediately revert back to the inaccurate date/time, prompting me to replicate the same process until it sticks. Furthermore, once the catalog reads these files with the corrected date/time, it does not always get read this way via the Cloud-based Lightroom. So to fix this, I then have to delete these files from the cloud and reupload them. I have done this mul
After Upgrade to LRC 14.0.1, Won't export any of my files. Can any tell me if this is being looked into by Adobe? When I googled it I see Im not the only one with this problem after the upgrade. Can hit export button but just hangs and doesn't export.
Hi,I'm a recent convert to Mac and have started opening my Windows created catalogues on the MacBook. As this is a recently new resubscription, the lrcat files need upgrading. As the photo filesystem has changed since my last subscription, I'm forcing LR to Synchronise Folders.Within a few minutes this causes Finder to lose the SMB shares, it moves into a state of "Connecting". I can force a restart on Finder and some times it may eventually come back for a few minutes, maybe not... LR is the only application causing this issue, I've had the MacBook for a month or so and have never experienced this with anything other than Lightroom - anyone seen this before?FYI I've confgured Max of SMB3 and Min of SMB2 on the NAS.
My HDD stopped working the other day (suddenly appeared as "uncategorized" in the drive manager and disappeared from the Win Explorer). I managed to rescue the files, however, they are saved in an arbitrary order in many (arbitrary) subfolders now. I managed to open the latest *.lrcat file, however all connections are gone as the file paths have changed. What I tried:Right-click on the top level folder in LRC to relocate the pictures, selecting the overarching "images-folder" in which all the rescued image files are stored.Search for the raw file in Win Explorer and relocate a single image/ update the file path.None did work. Is there any way to re-connect the raw files to the LRC catalogue without re-building the originial folder structure (basically impossible looking at the amount of pictures/ folders)? Thank you!
I recently was notified by my MacBook Pro that it was almost full (storage). I was shocked as I store all my LR/Photos on an external hard drive from day one. After looking into it further, it appears that the largest memory consumer was "Lightroom Catalog Previews.lrdata" - using 83GB of data. I did some reading up and found that my preview settings were defaulted at a "higher quality" setting and therefore large files. I corrected the setting. I understand that will prevent for the future, but what can be done now to the existing file/folder to free up some storage? What exactly is this "folder" and can it be deleted? Any advice is appreciated - thank you!
I'm trying to sort the images by odd number and even number filenames using the Smart Collection function. For the odd number smart collection, I set the criteria with any filename ending with 1.jpg, 3.jpg, 5.jpg, and so on. This picked up most of the odd number ending items, exept for the repeating digit numbers, such as 11.jpg, 33.jpg, 55.jpg, etc. I am suspecting, might this be a bug? I am using Lightroom Classic 2025 14.0.1 Release, Mac OS 15.2.
Every time I try to work on a photo Lightroom 8.1 and Lightroom Classic 14.1 crash. I´ve followed several steps: 1. Reset preferences 2. Run as admin 3. Update GPU to High performance. but still its not working [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
I get empty picture frames in LR. Can't delete them, optimize catalog won´t help. Now I have more then ten of empty frames which are no t related to any real pictures.
