Lightroom Classic

Hi! I don't know why I can't export my calibrated RAW files to Export Image to PSD from Lightroom Classic! Even the exposure menu is different from the one explained on the site: https://helpx.adobe.com/ca_fr/lightroom-classic/help/exporting-photos-basic-workflow.html This feature doesn't exist anymore? But I need to convert my RAWs to PSD!Thank you fot your help!  

Catalog corrupted.  Holding ALT and double clicking on the LRC icon does nothing.  How to get LRC to run and select a previous good catalog.  Also, no file in \users\Rick\Pictures\Lightroom with .LOCK in the directory, even looking for hidden files.  

Hello, I recently got a new mac and now my photo's won't import into Lightroom classic. It keeps being stuck on "Import photo's". I have reopend Lightroom, and tried importing them multiple times, but it doesn't do anything. With my old mac I never had this problem. Does anybody know what this could be?? Greetings!

My collections in lightroom are missing hundreds of images. I don't mean the previews are there but it's not connected to the original source. The images are literally just not there at all.My collections which would have whole shoots in showing less images than they should - some vastly so. On one shoot, only the B&W images are missing - which I create by making a copy of the colour version.My process is: Import images from my external HD to LR as smart preview. I'll edit off the smart preview and then export the whole lot to my external HD.It doesn't make sense to me at all.

For the past few months, I have been struggling with a problem where when I run Adobe's photo software LRC/PS (especially LRC) and an internet browser (either Chrome or Edge) at the same time in a Windows 11 environment, PC becomes extremely slow and I can't do any work. There seem to be no problems with the specs, and even when I look at the task manager while it's slowing down, there doesn't seem to be any problems. (Memory is 64GB) What's more, I'm troubled because this has only happened recently. I think both Adobe and the browser have done pretty much everything I can find online. Do you have any ideas for a solution?

Hi I have noticed when exporting form Lightroom Classic, there are big colour bands on blue skies when I export in JPEG. I am using the same settings I have always used and never had this problem. I tried exporting in Tiff and the bands are not there. Im not very familiar with the pros and cons of exporting in Tiff though.  The only thing that has changed is I am now using a mac pro laptaop instead of a desk top.Could this be the problem?  I have googled this and still cant work it out so 3ould really apprecialte some advise please. Thanks   

after the installation of lightroom 14.1.1 I cannot generate keywords. after filling in a keyword it disappears after I give an enter.... 

I keep getting this after LR has been idle for hours. I think it's a bug.  

HELP…….I am having a problem with Lightroom Classic.  In the library mode when I mouse over the folders pane, the triangles and folder icons disappear.  And randomly,. Anyone have an issue with LR CC where you export a photo but the export photo is way darker than it should be? Out of 600 photos, a good 30 or so are darker. It's not my export settings or monitor. I check back with my browser, photo viewer, and dropbox it to my phone but the resulting images seem darker than what I edited to.I have to offset the images by exposure to almost +4 to get it to look right after exporting it.

Command - B, Add to Target Collection is no longer working reliably. Is anyone else having this problem with Lightroom Classic 13.4?

I've looked at previous posts relating to this issue but not finding a solution that works.  Images in my library of about 35,000 photos (combination of scans and camera captures) are not sorting by the capture dates. I've made visible other metadata fields to search for patterns or inconsistencies but not finding any.  The images just seem to sort in a random order.  I've tried the "edit capture time" recommendation which has had limited success.   In some cases I'm indicating, for example, that LR adjust the date to 2003.  When the task is completed, all images in the set have a 2005 date.   So even the corrective methods seem to be generating some new confusing problems.   In september I changed the location of my catalog and image folder.  Aside from the issues mentioned already, I've noticed that a decent number of images have that September date as the "capture date" for files that are much older (and no original date exists in that field).

I sometimes get the message "cannot read the file" on ORF files of my Olympus OM1, so I cannot edit the photo. In some cases the problem is solved when I restart Lightroom, but not always. what could this be?   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

i am a daily user of lightroom classic. one day i have opened it i shocked with the slowness of app starting and each process of it (deleting photos, navigating between develop and library, almost freezes after deleting a photo for several seconds,and overall bad performance) and i tried to reachout for technicaal support, they tried some solutions but useless. please help me my work flow is so slow because of this

I just noticed that my library lost a ton of photo edits.  How can I recover my old edits from a backup file without overwriting all my new edits I've been making to my photos?  For some reason, I found out that photos were missing from my library, but I was able to reimport them.  Unfortunately, the edits made on the photos years ago are lost.  I think I can restore the edits, but I don't want to impact what I've been doing to add and edit photos recently.

When preview cache size limitation , dialog is pop-uped on lightroom and stay until close with push "x"I find this behavior strange.Even though I want to limit the preview cache size and have the option turned on, the only suggestions given are to increase the size,dialog continues to interfere with the user's work.Even if the suggestion warns me when the preview limit is reached, I would like it to fade after a certain period of time and steadily deletepreview caches to stay within the limit.

SYSTEM SPEC AND CURRENT BUG  LRC version 14.0.1 with latest updates, running on MacBook Pro M1 Max 16”,64GB RAM and SSD 2TB Upgraded to Sequoia 15.1.1 ten days ago end of November  Main LRC catalogue 175,000 photos approx 145GB previews file and 4.5GB catalogue  After upgrade and a the first back up on Dec 03 including optimisation, the generation of previews got stuck and unresponsive, photo merge would not work always but randomly. LRC unstable and unresponsive, practically unmanageable since then. Large catalogue at risk. The Previews  would only generated one by one manually when switching to LIB module and clicking on each image. Aktuelle Versionen an der Sony A7R5, LRC und win 10. Thetering bringt keinen Kontakt zusammen. MIt der Sony eigenen Software funtioniert es ohne Probleme. Wer hat einen Tip?   Danke!   LG   Gerhard
