Lightroom Classic

Hi.   I would like to submit feedback regarding Lightroom Classic on Windows 11 with an RTX 3050 graphics card. When performing Denoise in the background while viewing the Develop panel, the screen occasionally flickers. Additionally, when applying multiple masks to an image, severe lag occurs not only for that specific image but also for all images in the filmstrip.   This issue began at some point after a Lightroom Classic version upgrade, as it worked fine during the initial period of using the RTX 3050. Despite attempts to resolve the problem through graphics driver updates and Lightroom version upgrades, the issue persists.   I suspect this may be due to memory leaks or similar bugs, and I believe it requires further investigation. The performance degradation significantly impacts the workflow, especially when working with multiple masks or performing background tasks like denoising. Ive just come back to Lightroom ater years away, yeah I maybe mad, but so far so good, just one thing, my documents folder in my Macbooks storage has now got 213gb, is this correct? it all seems to be photos, is this normal or have I done something wrong? Many thanks

Bonjour, J'ai installé ligtroom classic sur mon nouveau mac (sequoiai 15.2) J'ai 2 catalogues. Pour un, tout est OK, j'ai tout récupéré. Par contre, pour l'autre catalogue, il a bien toutes les photos, sait où les trouver mais il n'a plus les mots clés (je ne peux d'ailleurs pas en mettre de nouveau). J'ai l'impression qu'il est toujours en attente de quelque chose car à gauche de param prédéf. dans le module bibliothèque, une roue tourne sans arrêt. Merci et bonne journée. 

I am using Windows 11 with 32GB RAM and an RTX 3060 Ti 8GB. My graphics card drivers are up to date, and all my programs are confirmed to be the latest versions. My computer runs normally, but whenever I use the Denoise function in Lightroom, the screen turns black.It's not a monitor issue, and the PC itself keeps running, but only the screen goes black.I have also tried disabling the graphics card in Lightroom's performance settings, but the same issue persists.What could be the cause of this?

Hi.I've had to get a new PC and the main drive is smaller than my previous one, so I'm using an external drive for storing photos,and so they've moved from "C" to "D".I've finally got my backup catalogues installed in Lightroom, but all the pictures in all the folders are greyed out, and on the folders tab it still says "C" drive.How do I change that to "D" drive?Probably very simple and I'm just being a bit dim.Cheers.Steve.

I saved a book but when I reopen I have an autoformat that in no way resembles the book i saved... must be pilot error but cannot figure out my mistake .... any thoughts? Hours of work are going down the drain.

Bevor ich die neue Lightroom Classic abonniere, möchte ich die Daten so herstellen im alten Katalog, so dass ich sie importieren kann.Zunächst wurde die Raw Bilder als fehlende angezeigt und ich konnte sie in DNG konvertieren, die erkannt wurden. Ich habe etwas verstellt und jetzt kann man die Daten auch nicht mehr konvertieren, da sie nicht eingelesen werden. Ich bin völlig verzweifelt, weil es um eine sehr große Menge Bilder handelt. Adobe Support konnte mir nicht helfen.Vielen DankKaren

When I edit in Photoshp from Lightroom Classic, it shows ProPhoto RGB as the color Profile.I do not want this color profile. From Lightroom Classic Edit In Photoshop, how do I get it to show Working RGB?

Hey, For some time now my program memory in Lightroom Classic has been filling up - slowly and steadily up to about 80 or 100 GB! After that the program crashes. I have saved the current version of Lightroom. I use a Macbook M1 pro, 16 GB memory. Operating system Sequoia 15.01 What can I do? Hi,I work with 2 cameras. I set white balance (WB) manually to get same colors from both cameras in similar lightning.Before it was Canon R6 + 5D Mark III.Now Canon R6 + Canon R5 Mark II. When importing images in LR, I'm used to see a small difference versus the kelvins values set in camera. Hi! As I needed more space on my laptop, I deleted old Lightroom (Classic) catalogs (and emptied the trash). Then I tried to backup the catalog I was currently using (the catalog which opens automatically when starting Lightroom), it didn't work, so I closed Lightroom. When opening again, most of my pictures were gone. I probably made it worse by uploading the most recent of my backups, which doesn't even contain my most recent pictures. How can I find my pictures? (I have no backup, but I didnt delete it either). Hope someone can help; weeks of work there. Thanks!

Perhaps I'm missing something, and I hope I am.. However after many, many hours cropping and editing photos, when I go to change the aspect ratio of cropped images for printing, it reverts back to the original image as though I haven't done any transform, crops, etc. I've removed onedrive, I've reset preferences, I've purged caches.. what can I do?

My Lightroom Classic updated to the new 14.1.1 (on a Mac), and when I just opened it it asked to upgrade my catalog to match the update I assume. Now my Lightroom is not working correctly (refer to photo). I have reopened this a bunch of times and nothing has changed. When I hover over photos, it seems to have the camera data such as aperture the photo was shot at, so there should be all the data in there, just none of the previews or actual photos are loading. HiThe denoise feature in Lightroom Classic stopped working when I updated to macOS Sequoia 15.3. Lightroom is on the latest version; I also tested it on the previous version, but it didn’t work either. I also tested it on the same batches of images that I had previously used denoise on.- Noise reduction is currently not supported for this image formatThese are the same DNG files that worked previously.

My entire lightroom catalog is in a folder called dropbox cache and I cannot reconnect it to my photos which are on an external hard drive.  I have tried many fixes but nothing seems to work.  The folders in dropbox cache all have question marks and when I try to connect the missing folder to my hard drive - nothing happens.  The only thing that works is reconnecting individual photos manually.  I have over 100,000 photos and this would take forever. 

Hello! I found an issue where LR does not change the custom color profile when a preset is applied to a RAW file. I have the profile as a part of the preset and I have to remember to change it manually which is a bit annoying. My older version worked fine but I had to upgrade due to a new computer and found this bug. I even tried creating a new preset with the said profile, which doesn't work either. I can change the profile just fine in the profile browser. Anyone else came across this issue and has a solution? Thanks!

It seems ever since I updated Lightroom Classic to v10.3, Lens Profile Correction and Remove Chromatic Aberration are automatically applied upon import. I've searched and tried chaging the Raw Defaults in Preferences to Camera Defaults and Adobe Default, and both still apply these two settings upon Import. Does anyone know how disable this? I prefer uploading my RAW files without any settings applied during import.

LR 14.1.1 on Mac OS 15.3. When saving metadata to files on servers, LR causes all servers (even servers that aren't even loaded in the catalog/being saved to) to be disconnected with no error messages. This doesn't happen with Photo Mechanic or Bridge when doing the same metadata editing, so it seems to be something LR is causing. Also didn't happen in the past with other combinations of LR and Mac OS versions.
