Is it possible to show the folders (like in the ‘Library’) when you’re in the “develop-mode? So you can navigate directly between the folders, in stead of going to the Library first?

Lightroom Preset cannot be applied

Whenever I try to apply a preset, any preset, this message pops up. “Downloading AI ModelsSome AI Models are downloading. Please try again later.”There’s nothing wrong with my internet, or disk space or anything really. It literally just started happening after an update I did (v15.3.1). I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled a few times, same thing. I can’t apply any preset, but lightroom can still function properly as normal. Can anyone help?

P: Improve face matching algorithm/AIOpen for Voting

I am working on scanning all our shoe boxes with photos, I am currently up to 9,184 images (still scanning more boxes). Since these are mostly family photos this seemed like a good project to try the People feature on. After spending multiple hours assigning names, I have 3,250 faces in the Confirmed collection and 10,733 remaining as Unnamed People. At this point (about 23%)  I seem to have reached the point where the face matching algorithm (Find Similar Faces) is producing mostly incorrect matches. I don't know how old the face matching algortithm is - I would hope that there is room for improvement. Thus, I would like to suggest that the algorithm for this be updated using the latest AI technology. Version of the app:13.2Platform and OS version: Windows 11 Pro - 23H2 Thanks, Adriaan Sachtler

Erx: I'd really like a face ID tool for Lightroom Classic that is up to modern standards.Open for Voting

I tried using Lightroom Classic face detection on my personal photo collection. It’s really bad at learning from my selections, to the point where getting correct IDs is mostly a manual process. I used to recommend LR to all my friends, but LR has ceded too much ground to competitors in this area. I sure hope they pick it back up now that AI is so capable.

Lightroom Classic face identification accuracy is much reduced over recent versions. Most faces are showing as not identified.

Lightroom Classic 15.1.1 on MacOSX with 56,000 images.I have been using LRC facial recognition for years, with photos from a variety of different ages and camera sources. A few years ago, LRC was very good at identifying people even as they aged or from unusual angles. This behaviour has noticeably downgraded in 2025/2026. Faces are being shown as ‘unnamed’ even though they are of people who already have 5,000 previously identified examples.Previously, at load time, almost all new faces were being named, even if some of the identifications were incorrect. Currently, almost all new faces are unnamed. It has become so uncommon that I am surprised when occasionally my own face is correctly identified.Has there been a change in the algorithm, and if not, is there something that I can do to get the naming function to work properly again in my installation? I have tried ‘Find Faces Again’ but it just redraws the face region without making a better identification.

The export button is grayed out.

When I attempt to use the Denoise feature, it doesn't work and it is giving me an unexpected error on my photo without explanation.

I haven’t had trouble before now using the denoise feature. Whenever I toggle it on, it starts to work and then it tells me this. How do I fix this? I have updated the app, closed it, and reopened it and it still does not work.

Lightroom won't open due to a code execution system error

I have the latest version of Lightroom Classic on my Windows PC. It was working fine last night but today it won’t open. It produced 3 separate error messages saying that the code execution cannot proceed because ahclient.dll (and two other files it also lists) was not found. It says reinstalling the program may fix this problem. Has anyone else has this issue please and why is it happening?

I have a large number of LrC files with .Json format can they be opened and converted to .jped

I have a large number of the attached files in one of my picture folders. I have not found way to open them or determine if these file have any use. I have tried a Json formatter Plus with no results. I do not want to just delete the files if they are useful.

AI masks are not rendering in the Library module or exporting to the final files.

AI masks are behaving normally and display beautifully in the Develop Module, but they are failing to show in the Library Module or export at all. If anything, they’re making the images worse than the unedited version. I have tried updating LR, updating my operating system, turning off the GPU, clearing the AI cache, clearing the camera raw cache, rebuilding previews, deleting the previews file from the catalog folder, and any other fix I can find on the internet. I am on a tight deadline for a client, this is a catastrophe.

After upgrading Lightroom Classic to latest version I cannot see or access my edited TIFF files? I can see all my raw folders and the photos contained within. Where I have used a plug in and the files come back as edited TIFF, these have disappeared. I have tried to restore from back ups but cannot get this to work

P: Lightroom Classic Freezes (Black screen, UI glitch) after Using Object Select on Intel Arc 140T

Hello,I recently posted on Intel's forum regarding problem with heavy gpu tasks on my laptop.They asked me to post here to see if people on Adobe's side have any idea on how to fix this, and to cooperate. My laptop is an Asus Zenbook (UX3405CA) : - I9 285H - Intel Arc 140T 16Go updated with the latest available driver (32.0.101.8331) - The problem is still there with older drivers - Windows 11 pro up to date - Lightroom classic version 15.1 - Tried with older versions of Lightroom - The BIOS has been updated- Cleanded drivers with DDU in recovry mode then reinstalled through intel utility tool - Recleaned them with DDU in recovery mode then reinstalled through MyAsusThe problem persists.I get a LiveEventKernel with the code 141 in the event viewer every time the problem arises.I have attached some relevant files, but can't add the dump because the format is not accepted.I need your help to fix this problem permanently.Thank you

ddin develop mode LRC selected image disappears after correction stating "no image selected" I have rebooted and rebooted sometimes it works but mostly not a fix. help can't get any work done!

while editing in LRC .. if I have selected an image to edit with the sliiders and finish.. the image disappears and the screen says ‘No image selected..no work around that I have found soles this.. i am a 20+ year user ...this is happing in the Tahoe upgrade help not getting any work done!

When creating a new Lightroom classic catalog the images do not preview. I have to quit Lightroom altogether, then reopen the catalog in order to see them. This has been going on for months.

Lightroom Classic Freeze / Hang on macOS (after closing & reopening)

I’m experiencing a recurring problem with Lightroom Classic (v15.3) on macOS, running on a MacBook M5 Max with approximately 2.5 TB of free disk space. I haven’t encountered this issue prior to version 15.3, although I’m not certain if it is directly related.SymptomsLightroom opens the catalog, but: spinning beachball appears frequently images can sometimes be selected, but no zoom previews remain blank or don’t load UI is partially responsive, but core functionality is blocked Replacing the catalog with a backup does not fix the issue Deleting Previews.lrdata also no effect Deleting .lock, .wal, .shm has no effect Initially, a full system restart resolved the issue. However, the problem has now progressed to a point where even restarting macOS no longer fixes it. Cannot properly load catalogs, LR crashes

When I open a Lightroom catalog in LR classic (version 15.3.1), the histograms and 1:1 previews of the images won't load. When I try to do anything, Lightroom will freeze and crash and I'll have to force quit. I’m using a Macbook Pro updated to Tahoe 26.5.1, I've cleared video and RAW caches, cleared preferences, shut off GPU, checked the integrity of the catalogs, optimized them, uninstalled and reinstalled LR, and restarted my computer.

P: Remember the last scroll position in the photo grid.Open for Voting

Hello Adobe team,I would like to request an improvement for Lightroom on Mac.When Lightroom starts, the scroll position in the photo grid is always at the top. In my workflow, I sort photos so that the newest photos are shown at the bottom. Because of this, every time I launch Lightroom, I have to manually scroll all the way down again.Please add an option to remember the last scroll position, or allow Lightroom to open at the bottom of the grid when sorting order places the newest photos there.This would make reviewing newly imported photos much faster and more convenient.Thank you.

P: turn off RGB values in the Histogram panel...Open for Voting

I find myself keeping the info overlay on while editing to be able to see the lens and exposure settings I used, however I would rather not have it on all the time when I can just glance over at the histogram panel to see that info, yet usually when I do it’s showing me the RGB values of whatever pixel my cursor is hovering over. This is not really useful to me (at least not in Lightroom) and I would rather turn this off so the exposure and lens values are always present. This typically comes up when I click on the image to view at 100% to see if I have any motion blur and then glance over to see if what my shutter speed was… only to find the RGB value instead.
