Lightroom Classic

Hi guys,   I have updated my lightroom classic to the version of 13.1. Now I started editing and realized that all my drone shots of the last years changed their look without me editing or changing something in the settings of the edit. They now look washed out, way brigther and it feels like the yellowish tones faded out and disappeared. All my normal camera photos are not effected of that. I can see it even live, how lightroom is changing the photos. For example: I click on one photos which looks as contrasty and ready as I edited it. Preview looks fine. If I go into the Edit-Tab, it takes quiet some time till the photos is shown again (something is obviously processed) and then the photo is as explained above: Brigther, washed out and colorless.    I have no clue what happenes here, but if anybody of you has the same issue and a fix, I would be more than greatful.  I also asked some friends of mine and some of them are experiencing the same issues with their dron

Hello,I can't seem to make work the before/after tool with the shortcut (\). The "Y" shortcut works, the side by side before and after, but when I try to do the whole picture by itself, it doesn't work. When I press (\), it just makes that sound as if nothing can be selected.I have an european qwerty keyboard, spanish layout, working on a Mac, and it was only after updating to the latest lightroom classic that this didn't work.  Any help is welcomed, thanks

Als frischgebackener und stolzer Besitzer einer R6 Mark 2 und eines RF 24-240mm musste ich leider schon nach wenigen Schüssen ein interessantes Verhalten bei der Fotonachbearbeitung feststellen, das sich besonders bei kurzer Brennweite verstärkt: 1) Foto schießen mit CR3 und JPG 2) In der Nachbetrachtung auf der Kamera scheint das Foto dem Ausschnitt zu entsprechen, den man aufgenommen hat 3) Import von CR3 und JPG in Lightroom Classic-Version: 13.4 [ 202406181129-60d181b7 ] 4) Im Fotostapel zieht die Entwicklung des CR3. Der Objektivfilter wurde automatisch angepasst für Kamera und Objektiv - richtig erkannt. Egal ob man v2 oder nicht auswählt, das Bild ist 1:1 das gleiche und furchbar verzerrt. Zudem passt der Ausschnitt nicht. Der Vergleich mit dem JPG gibt Gewissheit, dass es mit diesem Filter irgendetwas hat.    Neuinstallation von Lightroom brachte keinen Erfolg. Canon lens profile does not appear in lightroom. When I try to import from the photoshop profile, it says it already exists.

Hello, I'm experiencing several issues related to XMP sidecar files in Lightroom Classic (version 13.5). All photos in my catalog fall into one of the following scenarios. Multiple scenarios can apply to different photos within the same folder.  1. XMP Files Working Correctly: In this scenario, the XMP files are functioning as expected. I can use the backslash key in the Develop module to view the before-and-after changes, showing the differences between the unedited and edited versions of the photo. 2. Metadata Conflict Warning: For some photos, the edits I applied previously are not showing. The XMP file is present in the external SSD folder alongside the RAW file. An exclamation mark appears in the Library module with the message: "The metadata for this photo has been changed by both Lightroom and another application. Should Lightroom import settings from disk or overwrite disk settings with those from the catalog?" Unfortunately, neither selecting "Overwrite Set

Mein Katalog enthält Bilder der letzten Jahre, also ca. 150.000 Bilder! Diese habe ich in den letzten Tagen, von LR CC indizieren lassen und einen Großteil auch schon zugeordnet. 1. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, gewisse Bilder von der Gesichtserkennung auszuschließen? 2. Wenn ich Rahmen manuell entferne und dann die Gesichtserkennung erneut durchlaufen lasse, markiert LR mir die entfernten Gesichter immer wieder neu? Kann man das verhindern? 3. Ich habe mir auch Excire Search gekauft. Das ist sehr gut. Aber es legt keine Rahmen um die Gesichter an.Was bei einem Gruppenfoto aber doof ist. Vielleicht hat jemand gute Tipps oder ich übersehe etwas?

Computer Specs.Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz64.0 GB RAMNVIDIA Quadro RTX 40001 TB SS Drive with 737GB Free8 TB data drive with 4 TB freeUpdated from Windows 10 to Windows 11 a few months after release.Eversince update Lightoom Classic runs really really slow, locking up all the time, won't load photos, takes it's time to process photos.  Processing RAW images from older Canon 7D.  I have made all the normally suggested performance suggestions.  I have removed Lightroom and reinstalled.  The only think I haven't done is remove all of Adobe and reinstall.  Any Suggestions? 

same issues as everyone after latest updates, tried all the suggestions but it is basically un usable and affecting my business, cannot even export many files for absolutely no reason thats if it works at all

My import does not work anymore after the update to LrC 13.5  Can I uninstall the update?

For the last few months, since the Denoise feature became available as a Lightroom button, I've been using Raw Details first, then applying Denoise to smooth things out. I've been doing this combination for months without any issues. However, in the past week, Lightroom has started locking up whenever I try to apply Denoise to a raw file after using the Raw Details function. They work separately, but if I try to use them together in any order, the program freezes, and I have to force close it.Is anyone else experiencing this issue? This problem has only started in the past week. I'm a professional photographer and process hundreds, if not thousands, of photos a week, so this sudden issue is extremely frustrating. Ive uninstalled, and reinstalled several times and rebooted.

I uploaded a book to Blurb.  All the pages came over okay, but Blurb has named the book the same as a previous book.  Where do I assign a name for the book?

How do I install a template to print cards from LrC?

Is there a way to display the "before" picture on the secondary monitor, and do the edits on the primarymonitor, while using the develop module ? I have 2 identical monitors and it would seem like a natural thing to do. The "Y" key brings up half of the image side by side, but it is rather useless if you are using "generative remove" and an object on the top-left corner of the image has been removed. You just won't see the change at all in that case, because both the side-by-side and top-bottom views each only display half of the image, and neither the top left quarter before and after on the same screen, as far as I can tell. The only workaround I can think of is to make a virtual copy for with edits,t then go to the library module, then using the compare function to display one image on each monitor. That seems like a lot of work. Is this the only way ?

Ich habe ca 100.000 Bilder auf meinem NAS gespeichert. Diese habe ich zum großen Teil auch importieren können. Nun fehlen mit 7.500 Bilder. Diese fehlenden Bilder habe ich in Lightroom ausfindig gemacht und seit dem "lädt" der Import. Den Prozess habe ich mittlerweile oft durchgelaufen-oft wiederholt. Mal werden 3 Bilder importiert, manchmal 8 Bilder. Aber seitdem lädt Lightroom aber es passiert nichts.Sowohl Katalog optimieren, als auch über Lan anschließen oder den GPU-Prozessor zu deaktivieren bringen kein Erfolg.Hat jemand solch einen Fall schon enmal gehabt oder eine Idee was ich noch machen kann??Vielen Dank im Voraus! 

I went to open LRC in Windows 11 this morning and the program would not launch, although the instance shows as an active process in Task Manager.  I used shift+alt to reset preferences thinking they had been corrupted, but that did not work to launch the program.  The next step was to uninstall and reinstall.  That also did not work.  Other Adobe programs launch as usual.  Please assist.

At some point recently, Adobe changed their purchase pages to no longer show the $9.99/mo 20gb Photography plan on their "choose the plan that's right for you" pages.  If you had clicked to see Lightroom Classic plans, the only plan they now show (other than the all applications plan) is the $19.99/mo 1TB Photography plan.      And, if you had clicked to see "Lightroom" plans it's the same thing but with the addition of the 1tb  $9.99 Lighroom Cloud only plan.   In the case of asking to see LrC plans, in order to see the cheaper plan you need to click the "See all Plans and Pricing" text in fine print at the way bottom of the page.   In the case of asking about "Lightroom" plans,  there are no links that eventually take you to the 20gb $9.99 plan,      I suspect most customers, even those who know the difference between LR and LrC,  will not know to seek out the cheaper plan.  I think this is a very sad th

Can anyone help me to get Lightroom Classic started/visible on my laptop (Windows).It worked great fot several years...Now I can't get the program started although I see it is running in the background.....I tried fixing visual++but still: no go

I have seen posts about the windows version, but I am echoing that on the Mac (m1 max) that Lightroom Classic 13.3 has become incredibly, painfully, awfully, terribly slow. Its gotten to the point of being frustratingly unusable. This seems to affect every aspect of using it from applying metadata updates to moving through pictures. Other than downgrading back to the old version (if possible?) has anyone found any other solutions?     

PC info Windows 10 Pro 6412GB ram Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER Since updating to 13,5 I can't use light room at all, it takes a few minutes to load and once loaded I can't do anything it will eventually stop responsding and  I will have to force close it.once I click on any photo in the ribbon in develop it does not change to thast photo stays shoowing the first one in the ribbon -  I have reset LR pref. I have rtried GPU on and off. I have updated everything I can all drivers etc. All worked fine on 13.3   I tried to do an auto sync on these 150 or so photos for the lens correctiojn as I always have and it has been frozen sincve now if I wait long enough it just times/crashes out.I really would like to use what I pay Adober for   and if not will just go backl to LR 5 on disk this is absurd!  the AI sync BS is the cause I justt know it 

Since version 13, Lightroom is unusable. Many people have been complaining about this for a long time and I don't see any response from the developers on this subject.I can no longer work properly because the software is so slow, whether in the library or moving from one photo to another is long.Or in development or modifications are not done automatically. And the worst being the selective filter or the AI, you have to constantly restart the software. I spent hours with the lvl 1 or 2 technician who modified my computer and made a mess of it. They all end up telling me that the problem comes from my configuration.I am on w10 /32go ram/8go vram/ssd nvme/small catalog/dynamic overview. My professional life is hell because of this and update after update this problem at the heart of the software is never addressed. You add new features that no one asks for but basically your software has become unusable for many users and I see no message in this section about it and no re

When I go to applications on my desktop computer, Lightroom is listed as follows: Top Level: Adobe Lightroom CC 2nd Level: Adobe Lightroom Inside the app: Adobe Lightroom   I am trying to teach myself and learn from online resources how to use all the tools Lightroom offers. I primarily use my iMac desktop (LR vs 7.5) for editing, organizing and storing my images locally.   Most of the information I am finding about LR is not designed for desktop work, but assumes mobile use. I do have a mobile device that I use occastionally. But I find it just as easy to dump the contents of an SD card into my desktop when I return home. The mobile device, IF I open up the SD card, is for previewing only. I prefer to edit on the desktop. I get the benefits of an auto transfer, but I DO NOT WANT MY IMAGES STORED ON ADOBE CLOUD.    But I digress. I just need to know: If I remove Lightroom Classic- what will happen to my images? This has happened twice to me recently, after years of no issues..I have raw pictures imported in situ ( so not copied ) from a fixed hard drive.  ( In the past I copied from the source to a different drive). Lightroom classic on PC.I edit them for several days, all good.I then select all pictures and export to a different folder on the same drive as JPG.The pictures are then no longer in the source folder, but instead appear in trash, and lightroom shows no pictures in the original folder. The first time this happened I lost all my edits because I didn't have the option set to write edits to XMP files. I have seen a couple of posts in the past from people and the reply has been lightroom does not delete pictures on export, however I can assure you it's deleting them from the hard disk.

Recentely downloaded free trial and subscribed for LR Classic 13.5 Relase on my Windows 11 laptop.After creating my own Preset i observed that i am able to apply the new presets but unable to use the Preset Slider for controlling the amount to apply.
