Lightroom Classic

Hallo zusammen, im Modul "Entwickeln" fehlt mir die Rubrik "Ordner" - welcher im Modus "Bibliothek" vorhanden ist. Ich hatte diesen mal, aber dieser ist nun verschwunden. Ich muss jeden Mal in den Bibliotkekmodus wechseln um ein Bild aus einem anderen Unterordner auszuwählen, welches ich danach im Entwickelnmodus wieder bearbeiten kann. Vielen Dank im Voraus für eure Hilfe.

I am leaving that original post up, at the bottom of this post, in order to have some frame of reference for where I'm coming from. Though I hope what immediately preceeds will concisely explain my current question: I've imported a bunch of file from another catalog, and preserved the old settings as a virtual copy. So now in the "Previous Import" folder, I'm shown all the imported images, with a little "2" in the top left of the thumbnail, of course in reference to the virtual copy which was created to preserve any pre-existing edits. My question now is, is there any way to, in the least amount of clicks possible... open up Compare View? it seems I cannot do it from within the Previous Import folder that I am shown after import, despite the thumbnail cor

Last night, I imported new photos to LRC. I was prompted to update my version, so I did that after I imported my photos. When it restarted, my library showed 54 photos when there should have been ~950. I checked their location on my harddrive, and they were still there, so I knew it was a Lightroom glitch. I spent over an figuring out how to reopen an old backup, reimporting my new files, and changing my default catalog. I'm relatively new at LRC and I haven't had to do this before. Once I did all of that, I reenabled sync on my catalog. Many of the photos from the cloud re-downloaded. No biggie - I just deleted the duplicates. When I was going through to make sure everything was there, I realized all of my collections were mixed up. The photos in each collection were still together, but the name was switched with another collection's name. At this point, I reverted my version to 13.3.1, but this issue persists. I can`t click on anything in Lighroom after it`s been running for a while. Everything is working perfectly and then out of nothing it just dont let me click anymore.I can use keyboard shortcuts, highlight picures and so on, but cannot click at all. Closing LR and opening again helps but it`s really starting to annoy me since sometimes it happens after 2 minutes working, other times after 30/40 min. It`s doesnt have a pattern. 😞Everything else works normally. This has been a problem since version 13-2. I had hoped that it would be resolved with subsequent updates but it persists (had no difficulties before). Masking will recognize sky, linear & radial gradients, and brushed elements. But for the others it starts to analyze then immediately stops. Is there anything I can do or does Adobe have to correct this problem? I am using Lightroom on Windows V10.

I'm running Windows 10. Lightroom Classic updated to 13.2 yesterday, and now I can't export photos. No matter what I do, when I select one or more photos to export, the progress bar appears in the top left, but even if I leave it for up to an hour, nothing ever gets exported. If I select export... the regular panel comes up so I can select options, but nothing gets exported. I've paused face and address lookup. I've disabled all plugins. I've tried selecting photos in the Library and Develop modules. I've tried using the right-click context menu and the File menu. I've tried it using presets and without. I've tried many combinations of output location including different physical drives, image format, file name, sharpening, metadata, watermarking, etc., and none of it ever produces an output. The only photos I can export are images that I've already exported, by using Export with Previous Nothing else works. This is driving me nuts. I had to take a screenshot to send someone an image t

HalloIch konnte problemlos auf Lightroom CC Classic 7.0 upgraden doch nun wird mir die Lichterbeschneidung nicht mehr angezeigt.Die Tiefenbeschneidung funktioniert jedoch.Kennt jemand das Problem ? I hope someone can help please.I'm using both a laptop and a computer with Lightroom Classic. When I keyword my files on my laptop for example and then sync those files to my computer the keywords are no longer there and vice versa. I would have thought once the keywords were attached to a file they would stay, or am I missing a step somewhere?

I just accidentily imported photos into lightroom classic with embedded sidecar.  When I switch to the develop module will I be able to see the raw image or do I need to re-import them with standard preview and convert to DNG? Thank you

I am printing for the first time from Lr CC to Epson R2400 since updating Apple notebook to Catalina (this is only variable since last Print session pre-lockdown). Issue = Print button is greyed out. Driver working as I can display ink levels. Can print ex Word. Thanks. 

Hi!I want to insert a page with multiple photos (18 photos) in the book mode of the latest version of Lightroom Classic but ther's no option to do it. There are only few preset that have less or more cells than needed. If i try to select all photos and drag-n-drop in the page ther's no allinement layout and i have to drag those manually.Please help.

I have two computers (a Macbook Air, a desktop PC), and one Android phone.  I subscribe to the full Adobe suite.  I've been using these apps for many many years, and there's still so much that to me, is un-understandable.  I think one part of the problem is Adobe's lack of universal terms - like on mobile a "collection" is actually a FOLDER (yeesh I worked on that for an hour until I figured that out).Anyway, I want to be able to sync photos I take on my phone to BOTH my Macbook and desktop - but - they are using two different catalogs.  So...am I screwed?  No way to have the same photo on all threee devices?So then what does Adobe mean by "sync across all devices" - it seems that is IMPOSSIBLE, correct?Thanks...

When I first started editing a few years ago, I learned on Lightroom Cloud. Now that I know what I'm doing I'd like to switch over to Lightroom Classic because it seems like there is some more functionality with Classic. The problem is that for some reason the keyboard commands are different and the ones on classic dont seem to make any sense with hand placement, but there also isn't an option for Lightroom Cloud keyboard controls, which would seem like a no brainer. So much so that I assume I just don't know how to switch them over. Does anyone know where to do so?

I am trying to export a shared drive and Lightroom Classic reported that the specific folder is not writable. However, I can read/write without issue from Windows Explorer on the same computer. Also, within the "Choose Folder" dialogue box I can create a new folder without issue. If I select the newly created folder, LR Classic complains again. Additionally, I can right click in the Choose Folder dialogue, select New, then add a new item to the folder. It can successfully add the item. So the folder is definitely writable! Why is LR Classic thinking it is not writable?!    I am running Version 13.4.  [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. Hello!I am noticing a weird bug? lately in LR Classic on Macos Monterey.  With raw file white balance, or It/something seems to have changed , more recently,  from what I can tell.  Basically, my raw image(s) white balance appears to shift as I edit my Canon R5 Raw Files, which didn't happen before/in the same way.  Sometimes the image now will turn more purple or blue, when it might have been more orange in the base raw exposure/AWB in the past.     I have attached the split view/before after, and other specs/version imformation.          [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

I have found that Lightroom Classic 13.4 and 13.3 both wipe out pre-existing Histories and Snapshots in the Develop Module.Have you perhaps seen this problem too?LrC 13.2 does not seen to have this problem.   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

Let me give you an example: if I have a folder called USA, and a sub-folder called California, and in that, one sub-sub-folder is called San Diego while a second sub-sub-folder is called Los Angeles, is there any way for those names to be read so that the contained images' keywords to have "USA," "California," and some of them also have …, "San Diego," while others have …, "Los Angeles?"   I know how to do this manually, but I want to know if there's a faster/easier way to do this.   Thanks!

Probelem opening lightroom files in photoshop! All my software is up to date. Still I get this message: Could not open “DSC02192.ARW” because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file. What can I do ? First time ever having this problem  

I needed to upgrade the catalog with the new Lightroom Classic update about 10 days ago (now 13.3). However, it seems that the previews were not included. In the same folder, I see the old preview catalog (500 GB) and a new preview catalog (4.5 GB). I'm not sure why the previews were not incorporated into the new catalog. I've done several hours of work in the past week (before I noticed what happened), so I don't want to lose anything by rolling back and upgrading again. Is there a way to absorb the old previews into the new catalog? Or any other ideas besides creating 500 GB of previews all over again from scratch? What's the best way forward?

If this has already been asked, I haven't found it yet.  So bear with me.  After updating to the latest LR Classic on my windows computer, none of my AI masks work.  This has caused a significant slow down in my workflow.  What could have happened?  And how do I fix it.  Thanks ~Janet~

I've been editing a ton of dance show photos. I edit one photo, copy and paste the settings into others, and adjust the settings. I've always done this for quite some time.   Today I noticed Lightroom Classic not behaving as usual. When I open up the copy settings window, I have no option to actually copy the Remove Tool (Q) (previousy called healing brush).   I guess they changed some tools' naming and forgot to update the copy settings to reflect that. Worse thing is, the Remove Tool is not anywhere in the settings, but they are actually copied!   So when I want to copy only the edits, the color, exposure, etc., I need to delete all Remove Tool instances, and copy settings. And add the Remove spots again if I need them. This is a nuissance.   Can someone verify this? Is this a bug or actual intented way of working? How can one copy the settings without the Remove Tool?   This is happening in a Windows 11, Intel i5 12400F with a Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti   Than
