Lightroom Classic

I've been syncing Classic collections to web/mobile application albums for a long time. I have recently experienced a new issue. When adding a new synced collection (+photos), this collection shows up as an album (in Web/mobile) but with no photos in it . The photos do however show up under 'All photos' and can manually be moved into the album. Any tips on how to solve this?/LarsLrC 13.2 / Windows 10

Muy resumido: Lightroom Classic 13.2 Módulo Biblioteca: tengo ordenadas las fotos como "orden personalizado", cierro lightroom y aleatoriamente puede que me aparezcan las carpetas ordenadas como "orden añadido" , "hora de captura"...¿No hay forma de que me mantenga "orden personalizado" por defecto sin que Lightroom lo cambie? Muchas gracias por la ayuda

Synk in LightRoom classict doent work in a new waySynk is ON and shows that everithing is syncedBut there are no synk checkboxes in Collections tabI've tried to add images manually to All Synked Images and got thisI had such issues - with missing synk checkboxes - before but usually turning synk off and on worked as solution. For now I tryed it several times and even restarted LrC several times with no effect.Adobe should fix all these synk issues (also Forsing of reset settings and Metadata errors) before adding nex features. Synk is important part of existing workflow!

Hello.. I will describe the situation to you.I have a photo imported into Lightroom in the "XYZ" collection. I will edit this photo in Photoshop, adjust it and save it. When I go back to Lightroom, I no longer have this photo in the "XYZ" collection, but in the "Smart collections". Since I have a lot of collections, this is a problem for me. How can I solve this please? Well thank you

Hello AllI have recently upgraded from the 3900XT to the 5950x,lightroom software version is the same 11.5, i have been using it for the last 2-3 months and exporting approx 400/500 photos per 5-6 mins using the 3900XT ,Please note i have had the 3900XT for 2 years with this level of performance.further specs include RTX 3070 and 64GB ram plus 2tb NVME * 3 !held together on a Asus X570Prime Mobo.After upgrading to the 5950x few days ago, I noticed the exports being a little slower, so today i timed it, a gallery of 600 photos exporting at a rate of 25 per 1 min, so in 5-6 mins i only had approx 125 photos exported!!!! any ideas on what can cause this? the software version and everything has remained the same, CPU is running at 100% during exports all cores being utilised. Any help would be appreciated Thank you 

Hello,  Will deleting the lrcat-data files of previous LrC versions adversely affect my latest version lightroom catalog V-13? Are there any precautions I should be aware of? Thank You.

So I have no idea what caused this, but recently my keyword list decided to turn invisible. Within the library module the histogram is also empty and hitting "i" does not result in cycling through the information overlay.The main issue for my workflow are the invisble keywords though. I say invisible, because they are technically still there. I can see them when I filter images in library (see image attached). At one point they briefly reappeared, only for them to vanish again, when I thought that was a good point in time to optimize my catalog. I tried opening an older backup, which brought them back for a while, but even that didn't last long. I tried rebuilding my library from that backup by adding my newer images, but eventually I had to restart LR and they were gone again.  Does anyone have a similar issue, or an idea what might help? Any input is greatly appreciated.

I need help. I was attempting to enter a keyword. My screen went completely black and has the words "no photo selected".  I cant do anything but change the color of the screen?

My lightroom classic will not launch, I've tried pretty much everything I can think of and nothing will work. Everything else will open perfectly fine, but Lightroom Classic. This issue started yesterday and I've been trying everything since to get it to work, I have no clue what else to try. Please HELP.

"The Lightroom catalog named X cannot be opened because it is too new to be used by this version of Lightroom. Would you like to select a different catalog?" I am trying to open a catalog created by a different user. When I try to open it I get the above message. However, my Lightroom CC and Lighroom Classic CC is totally up-to-date. Any idea on how to fix? 

I am new to LRC. Whenever I try to open the app I receive this message: "Lightroom encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and neeeds to quit."   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

The arranged content (over 200 pages) in the book module of Lightroom Classic disappeared (as shown in Figure 1), but the photos previously added to this book still show as used once (as shown in Figure 2). Only the cover and 4 pages remain in the book, and they are empty (as shown in Figure 1). Is there a way to restore the previously arranged state? If it's not possible to restore the latest state, can I import the backup book layout from 2 days ago into the current catalog? Additionally, Lightroom Classic's book module cannot set specific dimensions; it can only use a few predefined sizes. Does anyone know the reason for this software design like that? Are there any other software recommendations suitable for designing photography books?Figure 1 Figure 2

Hello, I am running Win 11 and I am having a problem opening LRC, I get the error message an error prevented LRC from opening a catalog.  I am able to open Lightroom without a problem, it is just LRC.  I have already tried going to .lrcat-data folder and removing CURRENT, it did work.   Can someone share easy step by step instructions on how to fix please?  TY 

Lightroom Classic 13.2 / Camera RAW 16.2 / Windows 11 / i7 14700 / RTX 4060 TI 16 Gb / 32 Gb RAM / SSD Brand new PC (2 weeks old), fresh install of everything, drivers fully up to date. LRC is freezing in the Develop module.  By that, I mean the images are visible and I can switch between modules. However when I try to use the develop sliders, they move but the changes are not reflected in the current image.  My only option is to restart LRC. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Sorry.I'm having an issue with my lightroom 4.... corrupts some files when importing.I've read other posts about this but nothing has helped.I want to reinstall from my program files but not sure which one(s) to use.Any help would be appreciated, thanks. 

Out of the blue I received a message that the LR Catalog was corrupt and would need repair. I am using LR Classic version 13.2 When I went back into the catalogue all my work for 2024 was gone. Zero files. There was no ability to find lost files. Everything prior to 2024 seems untouched. This is extremely bizarre and I am reticent to proceed without knowing the cause. Is this a virus ? I don't simply want to go and reload a backup in case I am going to get even more issues There were 1000's of processed images in 2024 catalog. Lightroom shows my video card abd allows me to enable all options: Photoshop allows the same: Lightroom Classic does not. It allows only the use of GPU for display. I have done a clean install of the latest nvidia studio driver, my Adobe products are up-to-date and Windows 11 is current as well. Also, the onboard video has been disabled. So why can't I use GPU for Image Processing and Export in LRC? There are 203 image files in the RG folder of my HD; a number that is confirmed by the OS file manager. I imported then all and gave them the keyword: "RG Proj." When I select/All the KW window shows "RG Proj" with no asterisk, meaning all the selected images have that KW. But here's the rub; when I run my "RG Proj" Smart Collection, with the filer: "Contains Words/RG Proj I get 199 images.What could account for this mispatch?

Hi - I recently upgraded a lightroom catalog to lightroom classic using the import menu.  Original catalog size was ~60mb, new catalog is exactly 32 mb.  It only loaded in my edits up to 2010, and I believe the catalog has edits going to 2018.   I have no way of reloading the old catalog in old software. What can I do to proceed? 

Hello,moving from imac to MBP, I missed my import convinience, that LRC renamed the files and sortet them automaticall under my given folder structure eg. 2024 for year 04 for month and 26 for day.I know that i have to create an import-preset including remanimg and targeting.I struggle with Target, LRC wónt fill in the photos automatically into the related day´s folder as it do on my old maschine.Question: How do I have to creat the import-preset. Any help is appreciatet. Regards Frank

I took photos on Saturday and they are not able to preview or import in Lightroom Clssic CC. Only preview and imports 1/3 of the photos from my SD card. I took with my 6D MK II. I was able to playback in my camera at the photo session but I can't not playback.  My Adobe Lightroom and Camera Raw are up-to-date. Also, I downloaded the DNG Conveter program but it didn't work.  Not sure if it's the SD card malfunction. Here is a sample file you can take a look. I keep my photos on an external 500 GB ssd.  It was getting full so I purchased a new identical Samsung t5 500 GB ssd.  When I connected the new drive it bumped the existing drive from drive E to Drive F.  Now Lightroom can't find my photos.  How do I rename the old drive back to drive E, or point lightroom to the renamed drive F?

I am trying to import photos and videos from my iPhone 13 Pro, running iOS 17.4.1 into Lightroom Classic on a Mac runing Sonoma 14.4.1.  There are a lot of videos and photos missing in the Import screen.  I've tried to uncheck "Don't import suspected duplicates" and the files are not showing up.  Many of the files are Apple LIve Photos.  I am thinking this is a bug due to the recent software upgrades?  Would greatly appreciate it if this could be fixed quickly as Lightroom Classic is my main photos library catalog.  Thanks!

Recently bought a new machine and as such have installed my Adobe products.Every photo I open whether it is Lrc or PS there are no Lens profiles.These are not Jpegs these are RAW files. My previous machine had no issues found the lens profiles straight away. Obviously this is down to new installation but unsure where to fix this problem 

I can't beleive I've had this issue, litterally forever, and I don't see anything useful in a search. After importing hundreds of images, I'll need to do an F2 batch rename on my PC, both Windows 10 and 11. No matter the version of windows or lightroom, one day I started having issues renaming images on a local drive. It would always leave 3-10 files that could not be renamed. It turned a tedious renaming process into a nightmare. I discovered tonight that if I convert everything into Smart Previews, the issue goes away, and I can rename without any issues at all. Com'on, does anyone know anything about this?
