Lightroom Classic

I installed the latest update for Lightroom Classic from the Adobe Creative Cloud on Dec. 21st, 2025 and now it will not run on my PC running Windows 10 Professional.... Is Adobe phasing out WIndows 10 support now?  If so I will immediately cancel my subscription and find an alternative.  If there is a remedy, please let me know here.  I searched the help topics here and on google and none of the simple solutions (e.g., reinstall, check your admin rights, etc etc.) works.  I changed NOTHING on my computer from its previous state where Lightroom worked. I tried reverting back to the previous installation of Lightroom, and none of these "solutions" has worked.

Hello, Since a few version of LRC I am facing and update issue in my filmstrip.Flags, stars... are not updated in the filmstripLRC does take the date in account for filters, and update the view on restart of LRC. Already tried :- reboot computer and/or LRC- Update MacOS- Update LRC- Activate/desactivate GPU - Delete preview cachesI am feeling out of optionsHas anyone faced that issues ? Using- udated LR classic (but bug was already on before version)- updated MacOS 26 (aslo on before version)- MacBook M1Thanks

I moved my lightroom classic catalog to a new machine with a smaller SSD. The preview file had ballooned to 90GB. I started to discard 1:1 previews on older files but the file stays 90GB. It shows it's modified by this action with the "last modified date" but it persists 90GB, even after through multiple restarts. When does the discarded 1:1 data actually go away? Using LrC on MacOS Tahoe.

Hello, I currently have my Lightroom Classic library on a OWC Envoy Pro FX 4 tb SSD external disk. I am getting close to it being full but I'm just back from a trip and need to clean up pics. I noticed that even though I deleted close o 2,500 RAW pics at 61 mpxl each I have not seen any reduction in space usage. Moreover the 'purgeable' GO keep increasing. I do not know whether I should delete the purgeable space or even how to. My LrC is in French but here is the data below on the disk space: 3,84 To - usable on 4 Tb844,94 Go (87,77 Go purgeable) (left to use 844,04 but 87,77 Go purgeable that just increases as I delete pics)3 082 903 920 640 octets (3,08 To sur disque) (Using 3,082 on the 3,84)  I do have 'CleanMyMac' and I use it weekly on my Mac but I have never used it to clean the OWC disk as it only contained my Lightroom library.  Thoughts, suggestions are welcomed. Thank you.  

The last several times I've imported photos, Lightroom has randomly inserted a grayed out file or two every few photos. They're not photos that didn't load correctly as there's no data associated with them. These "files" don't delete normally (ie I can't reject them and then delete them), and I can't add the photos that they're mixed in with to a collection or even delete them all to try to re-upload until I manually go through and remove every gray file individually. I am using Lightroom Classic v. 13-3 with Windows 11.

The last version of Lightroom Classic, where AI Denoise worked, was verison 14.3.   I've already been through the "troubleshooting" with your support where that individual decided that I need the "gamer" NVidia driver and ulitimately downgraded be back to 14.3 to restore the function.It's been about 6 months since then and I don't actually see a fix to this issue as it still exists in Lightroom Classic 15.1 (released on December 16th).   The support recommendations seem to be all over the place as to how this gets fixed, which clearly indicates to me that no one at Adobe knows what's going on or why it doesn't work.   At what point is this going to actually be fixed?

In my grid view, many of my images have an exclamatiom point.  When I click it, I get a dialog box that says that there was "an unknown error while writing metadata to this photo".  I believe this happened long ago.  The image is a raw Canon CR3 file.  There is no sidecar in the directory.  I believe this happened when I disconnected the NAS that the raw file is on.  I never asked for the metadata to be written out nor do I have the option set to automatically write out the metadata.  But... all that is in the past. The dialog box gives me three options: Retry the export, Import Settings from Disk, and Cancel.  What I'd like to do is just forget it -- basically reset the error flag but there I don't have that option.  But I'm hoping, maybe there is a way to reset it that is not obvious. My second backup hope is there is a way to select just the images with this error and hit update and walk away as it toils about creating the sidec

Hello I'm trying to solve an issue that has annoyed me for sometime. In Windows 11, when I try to important RAW files and am selected my desired images the preview appears unsual with pixelation and a low contrast apperance (see attached image). This seems to be correcteed once image is imported in the library and develop module but makes selecting the best image for import really difficult. I should mention the issue also appears in the smaller Navigator view in the top left and also the film strip once I'm in the libary/develop modules but this is less annoying as I've already picked the images at this point. Can't understand why this might be. Have kept LR up to date as well as monitor firmware (Alienware AW3225QF), video card etc but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

I shoot photos for a news outlet full-time with three different cameras. I have a Sony A1, a Sony A9ii, and a dji mavic pro 4. I edit on my 2021 16 inch MBP with 16gb RAM. I updated lightroom the other day and I've noticed that culling through the raw photos, arrowing through as I make selects,  from the A1 and the mavic 4 pro (Bigger files than the a9ii raw files) has all of a sudden become incredibly slow. Each photo takes a moment to load and this makes going through a card of two thousand photos to make my selects pretty frustrating. It's being read from a CF express card in a reader into a usb port that's always worked flawlessly. Going through an SD card of raw files from the a9ii works as it should still... Just having problems with the bigger A1 + Mavic 4 pro files. I have minimal previews on, use GPU and use GPU for preview generation has always been on auto. Hallo zusammen! Folgendes Problem ist mir auf einmal untergekommen, nachdem ich einen neuen PC eingerichtet habe und meinen Lightroom-Katalog darauf übertragen habe:- in zwei Ordnern (von sehr vielen) tritt bei ca. 90-95% der Fotos die Meldung auf "Ein unbekannter Fehler ist aufgetreten.", wenn ich das Foto in groß öffnen will oder ins Entwicklungsmodul gehen will. - Bearbeitungen lassen sich an diesen Fotos gar nicht vornehmen, alle Regler ausgegraut (siehe Screenshot 1)- Beheben lässt sich das nur, indem ich im Bibliotheksmodul per Rechtsklick die Entwicklungseinstellungen zurücksetze (was ich eigentlich nicht möchte, da ich fast alle Fotos bereits bearbeitet hatte)- kurios ist halt, dass einige wenige Fotos davon nicht betroffen sind, da ist die Bearbeitung noch komplett vorhanden (siehe Screenshot 2, die mit Ausrufezeichen sind die mit Problem)- und kurios ist, dass das Problem bisher nur bei 2 Ordnern aufgetreten ist... Jetzt die Frage: weiß jemand, woran das liegt

I've tried everything, moving back and forth, changing the view, making some edits in the Develop module etc. nothing worked until I reset the Lightroom Classic. I can only view the change in Library module

Bonjour, Les poignees et contours de masque (ni l'incrustation) ne s'affichent plus dans lightroom classic version 15.1 sous PC. Pourtant j'ai cliqué "afficher l'incrustation "en rouge et afficher les épingles d'édition "Toujours". Connaissez vous le même problème? From the past few days , my lightroom classic does not open . i have tried everything from a clean reinstall. to removing everything adobe related from my pc , files , regestry etc . but lightroom does not open. i tried changing the prefrences manually from appdata roaming adobe lightroom preferences.agpref to turn off the gpu part . but nothing is working .  my specs are\ rtx4050 6gb , 16gn ram, 512gb ssd , windows 11 , inteli5 13th generation laptop  

I updated Lightroom Classic to v15.1, and also installed Lightroom to check it out.Now, when I start Lightroom Classic, it claims that my catalog is corrupt, then tries to rebuild it, and hands during the process. I've tried with recent backups and ancient backups; the latest version of the app claims they're all corrupt, which I find extremely unlikely.I tried downgrading to the earliest I could get onlike (v14) but no luck. The same crash happens. I'd like to try going back to v12 but I can't find anywhere to download that online. Can anyone recommend a solution that isn't "make a new catalog and lose all of your collections for the last two decades"?   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

I have been having this issue for months now in Lightroom Classic. Every once in a while, I will try to create a mask and it simply just doesn't register. I click to create one and it won't create one, and it doesn't matter what kind of mask. I have shared remote access with multiple adobe agents, who will reset my preferences, and then assure me my problem is fixed. It is usually fixed for a little while, but then will pop up again. It came to a point where I had to beg for the phone number over chat just to talk to someone over the phone. Even then, it took me six tries calling the number before I reached anyone. And then that person was being difficult when I kindly asked to speak to a supervisor just to get a second set of eyes on the issue over the phone. There's more I could complain about with adobe support.   Anywho, I'm having the issue again and following the same steps the last agent did. I go to preferences in finder and change the CC7. plist file to CC7.old.plist. The

I have just finished relocating files/photos from various drives to a new NAS. I moved the files within Lightroom. Almost all files have been moved without issues however, I do have a handful that indicate the file name already exists within the location and therefore won't move the file. Upon reviewing I verify the file does not exist at the location, however, each attempt to move I receive the message the file exists. Anyone else receive this message? What causes the message?  Suggestions to resolve the issue?Thanks
