Lightroom Classic

I get this circle of noise on about 15% of images I process. These are from brackets of 7 images and don't seem to matter if it's a dark area or not. Always in a circle, and only when HDR processed in Lightroom. Version 111.4.1, but iv'e been dealing with this for a year.

I can no longer open Lightroom CC on my PC. It has worked fine for many years, but for about maybe two years I have not used it much at all, so it has been more or less dormant. I've used Lightroom on my phone instead. Three-four weeks ago I tried to open it again, but something seems to be wrong.  I cannot find an answer on what it can be and how to solve the problem. I've tried to follow instructions I have found on Adobe's site (delete certain files, re-install LRCC, try an older version...) but nothing of that works. Once, a week ago, I could open LRCC when I opened it after I right-clicked on a photo and chose "Open with LRCC, but before that and now also after that time, it does not work. I've also tried to right-click on that photo and on other photos to try to open it. Here is what happens: When I attempt to open LRCC I get a message saying "Lightroom Catalogue" is damaged and it seems to try a repair, but it always abruptly ends and I get "Assertion failed"

For the last couple of months, Lightroom is crashing 'out of the blue'.  I'll be working in develop mode, and suddenly Lightroom goes away, leaving no warnings or information.  When I restart Lightroom, it starts in the same place as when it was last properly shut down.  My work on the images is still intact, but I must go to the library module, find the folder I was working on when Lightroom crashed, find the image I was working on, and proceed with my work.  I have updated all the drivers I can find.  I am mystified why the program is crashing.  I thought about uninstalling Lightroom and reinstalling it, but I'm not sure what happens to all my work and catalog if I were to do that.  Could you please suggest some troubleshooting steps I might take?  System info is below.  Thank you.Don Lightroom Classic version: 14.4 [ 202506051112-5918896a ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Windows 11 - Home Premium EditionV

I recently found out that when i use Lrc 2025, any images i imported into the software would appeared darker and higher-contrasted than they are in other softwares, such as C1 and windows photo. I tried everything to fix this problem but it only seemed worked when i open the HDR option for my screen, but i believe this is not the right solution though. Are there anybody else who know about this sort of problem? Still seeing this bug where a few photos and I cannot discern a pattern will not export correctly show up all black.  This persists in Lightroom Classic 14.0.1 on macOS Sequoia 15.0.1    Here are screen captures showing the problem.  This is a Sony RAW which is 60M as .ARW and 127M as a denoised .DNG so I cannot attach those files.

I have just exported 120,000 nefs to jpgs and most of the keywords in the nefs are missing from the jpgs. It is set to export all metadata including personal and location. It doesn't seem to matter whether the keyword hierarchy box is ticked or not. Example, a nef with the keywords 'lanzarote', 'playa blanca', and 'Liz' are exported, but the jpg only contains one keyword 'playa blanca'. The file info has been verified with Photoshop file info. What is happening? Bob Frost

I'm in LR,I select a photo and choose to proces the photo in photoshop.I make the changes in PS and save the photo.Then I go backt to LR and see that my photo is put as the first photo of all.So not on the write timeline.Anyone an idea?

we can no longer tether under Ventura with the current LC 12.4 with the released Leica Plugin 2.0.1 and 2.2.0 ans 2.3.0. LC crashes immediately after recognizing the camera (regardless of whether it is an M11 or SL2). We sent two bug reports. we can understand that it still works with the same devices under LC 11.5. Is this bug known?

When in Library view, after filtering images, e.g., by a particular keyword, I need to sort the results by the name of the folder that each image is in. However, sort by folder name is not available in the pull-down menu.

I have installet lightroom Classic on a new computer but the program picks the file set-up from my computer one computer earlier. How do I get Lightroom Classic picking the set-up from my last computer.  Is it possible to pick a later file configuration ?

Build 14.4 Masking tool when selecting subject entire image is effected. I've been using this feature for a while and it only just recently stopped working, which makes me to believe it may have more to do with an update. When using the masking tool, if I select, subject background, etc., the entire image is affected versus the area that I select

When launching LR I get a win32 API error 126 and after loading I can't see the library module.I have installed adobe premiere elements 14 and have tried to delete it with no luck.I have also tries to reinstall LR without any effect.Some forums suggests that it has to do with an ATI graphics card but I have NVIDIA and I have checked that I have the latest driver as well.Any suggestions would be appreciated

I opened up Lightroom and when I go to develop it says "The file could not be found." However, there is no [!] indicating that the file is missing and needs to be relinked. I have not changed the name of the photos, the location of the photos, or the name of the drive the photos are on. I know the direct path to all of the photos, but it does not show me the option to relink. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to create standard previews for all photos. With 74,000 photos, this takes half a day. At the end, a window appeared with the message: "Some standard previews were not created. Photos not found (126). Photos could not be created (43).“ And now to my question. In the bottom line, I have the choice between ”Save as...“, ”Show in library“ and ‘OK’.  If I choose ”Save as", will only 126+43 be saved, or 74,000-(126+43)?If I select “Show in library,” will only 126+43 be displayed, or 74000-(126+43)? Can I still go to “Save as...” after selecting “Show in library”?What happens if I go directly to “OK”?

I am running the latest version of LR Classic and the latest SmugMug Plug-in (v3.5.9.1).  I have a published gallery on SmugMug that is causing LR Classic to lock up anytime I try to upload an image to it.  I have gone so far as to completely delete the gallery from SmugMug and to re-create it, adding back all of the images that were originally in it.  When I do this, I am able to update the gallery with all the original images and everything works fine.  However, when I go to either add a new image to that gallery or re-publish an existing image, LR completely locks up.  I have attempted to enable Logging under the Debugging section of the Lightroom Plug-in Manager but I can't get it to work for some reason--I have checked <Enable Logging> but when I select the option <Open in Notepad>, nothing happens.  I'm at a loss as to why this one gallery is causing this.  I have no problems publishing to any other gallery.   {Moved from L

A few days ago in LRC 14.4 denoise started to run slow taking 3 minutes per CR3 file. The chat agents tried to blame me and my PC...telling me to change this and that, but I have been here before numerous times. Time wasting and swapping chat agents to deflect from the problem often being asked to repeat myself over and over with no real solution given. I rolled back to version 14.3 and denoise for one cr3 file was 10-15 secs so I asked when 14.4 would be fixed...the answer was 1 month. The agent admitted during this chat that knew of faults with cr3 files and 14.4. but they decided to keep quiet. I have spent 100's of hours trying to learn new skills and I can not think of a period of a month or more when Adobe has run correctly, also are they releasing updates without fully checking these updates  WAITING TO SEE WHAT COMPLAINTS COME BACK AT THEM ?   <Mod:  Insults removed>   I doubt anyone at Adobe will give a flying feck about this post but im at the end of
