Lightroom Classic

When I look at my screen I can see the entire image in Lightroom.  One person who is looking at the images says that she can only see part of an image, or she will say that she thinks I need more in the image—which is there, she can’t see it.  I’ve done test runs with some friends who will send me a zoom link and they do not have a problem seeing the entire issue.  Other times she tells me the image is too small. What can be the problem?       Also I know that I have gotten to a screen that shows different green lines around a template….but I woud think that I need the green line around the entire screen, is that correct?  

I’m running the latest Lightroom Classic (15.5.1) and am on a Mac mini (and a MacBook Air M4) running Golden Gate 27.2 Beta code.On both computers, Lightroom Classic crashes almost immediately upon starting an AI task. Like starting Denoise or using the the generative Remove tool.Anyone else having this issue? Hope Adobe is aware and working on a fix, assuming it’s not something else that’s causing the issues…Thanks all.

Lightroom Classic 15.5.1 was freshly installed today after subscribing to Creative Cloud.Some presets cannot be applied. When I select them, Lightroom displays “Some AI models are downloading. Please try again later” and remains at 0%.Generative Remove also fails with “Generative Remove Failed.”Lightroom Classic's Cloud Storage panel also shows “Trying to Connect with Server.”I tested the issue using both my normal internet connection and a phone hotspot, with the same result. Lightroom Desktop and Lightroom Mobile work normally.I checked the Windows hosts file and there are no Adobe-related entries blocking Adobe domains.The standard Remove/Heal/Clone functionality works correctly when “Use generative AI” is disabled.

There seems to be a bug in version 15.5.1, causing my nvidia 1660 super graphic card to loose connection with my Eizo monitor. Monitor displays error display port and never comes back online, while Windows and LR still seem to be running (hd light on pc). Only solution is a restart. Windows 11 and nvidia display drivers are all up to date and working with this configuration for years. Windows reports LiveKernelEvent 141. Reverting back to 15.5 solves the issue. Disabling gpu in LR also worked in 15.5.1, but that means a very slow LR.

I have tried to uninstall to reinstall nothing workes to open Lightroom Classic, Ive wasted half a day and no luck, still no Lightroom Classic, Ime over it. HELP.

Is there a way to get an earlier version of Lightroom Classic (for example, v. 12.6)? In the Creative Cloud I can't find anything previous to v. 13.0.

Bonjour, j’ai récemment souscrit au Creative Cloud Photography plan with 1TB où j’ai pu télécharger Photoshop 2026 et Lightroom Classic. J’ai utilisé les mêmes identifiants qu’il y a 6 ans lorsque j’avais alors enregistré mon achat Photoshop CS5, que je n’ai plus. Mon problème avec Lightroom Classic : lorsque je veux importer une ou plusieurs images, le simple fait de cliquer sur ‘importer’ et les menus de correction disparaissent, seuls subsistent ‘grille’ et ‘loupe’. Impossible donc de retoucher une image, juste l’importation est possible. Mon nom d’utilisateur figure bien en haut à gauche de mon écran, je suis bien connecté à mon compte Adobe, les mises se font correctement; Photoshop 2026 est OK.Quel est le problème ? At the moment only one colour label is allowed per image. I t would be really useful to be able to assign 5 or 6 different colour labels so that large stock collections could be managed with each colour label represents an image library or agency. This would make it very easy to see at a glance where images are represented, especially where a single image may be with multiple agancies.The idea is similar to the little coloured circles used to do this job on slide mounts back in the days of film. The feature is availble in Dark Table - but not a greaat implementation - ideally labels need to be a bit bigger - same size as stars. I will often create a VC at a point where I am happy with what I have, but want to diverge or try other things.  Later, I may want to understand at what point in the development I created the VC(s).I requested that, when a VC is created, an entry be made in the history list, indicating the creation…and, if possible, the VC’s copy name.

I recently upgraded to a new computer and was working on transferring my presets from one computer to another. I am able to move over most of my presets, but there is one set that I am unable to upload. It says it uploads, but then it does not appear in the presets tab. If I try to re-upload, it says it cannot because it already has uploaded. When I search for it in my computer files, the presets are there along with the ones that do appear in the application. I can’t discern any difference between the files why one would be visible and not the other! Everything is selected when I look at “manage presets” and I don’t use separate catalogs. It is also set to show “partially compatible presets”. I had an Adobe employee remote into my computer for about an hour and she was unable to figure it out either. Any advice?

I just updated my lightroom classic app and lost all of my photos that I have uploaded. Not all of them were saved to my hard drive. I am incredibly upset and have no clue what to do. I was paid for this photoshoot.

I have a license for LR5 and would like to install it on a new computer, but I can't find the DL link. I've searched through community posts, but all the links are broken. Any help?

Hello,I'm attaching the warning I get and let's see if anyone can think of what may be happening. I use Lightroom to save, classify and edit my photos. It's been a week since I saw for the first time the screenshot that I put in which it says: Lightroom has encountered problems when reading this photograph.You will not be able to make adjustments to the photograph. When marking them one by one to see what they had in common I have found that it happens to me only with t The photos taken with the M11-POnly the DNG and when I shoot RAW + JPG the notice never comes out in the JPG and if in the RAW.They are also photos that have been edited.I have seen that an unedited photo when editing it even if it was just cutting, then I got that warning But it doesn't happen to me with all of them... it only happens with some imports. Hi everyone, Lately (since a month or two) some of my pictures have banding issues but I didn't change anything. Same hardware, same settings. The banding is already visible on the imported raw file and seems a bit increased after applying noise reduction. I do have 8 bit screens so I have no idea if this is the problem but I always export my pictures as a JPG which is 8 bit anyway. Can I do something to prevent this? I have attached the final JPG since my raw files are to big to upload. Greet​​ings, Erik ​​​​​

I have a brand-new Macbook Pro with the most up-to-date OS, and I can’t get either Lightroom installer (CC or Classic) to respond. Clicking on them does literally nothing; they just don’t ever open up. They don’t even give me an error message, so I’m not sure what I can even do at this point. Yes, I’ve restarted my computer multiple times and even had tech support take over my computer to try to fix the issue, and nothing’s worked. 

Currently, selecting Custom Name in the Rename Photo dialog does not display the filename of the selected photo.Instead, Lightroom Classic reuses the last custom name entered, even when a different photo is selected.This behavior is confusing for users performing single-photo renaming because the command behaves more like a persistent naming preset than a traditional rename operation.For single-file renaming, the expected behavior would be to display the current filename of the selected photo in an editable text field, allowing quick modifications without retyping the entire name.Instead, when selecting Custom Name, Lightroom initially presents an empty field rather than the current filename.What makes this behavior particularly confusing is that Lightroom remembers and automatically reuses the last value entered in the Custom Name field, even when a completely different file is selected.For example, after renaming:IMG_20260920_123456.CR3to:IMG_20260920_123456.CR3_modselecting another

Lightroom Classic’s current watermarking workflow is primarily export-based. I would like the ability to configure and preview a watermark on the actual photograph while editing in the Develop module, before export.The desired workflow:Add a PNG watermark with transparency to a photo. Display the watermark directly over the photo while editing. Adjust position, size and opacity visually for that specific photo. Store those watermark settings as part of the photo’s Lightroom metadata/develop settings. Move to the next photo and adjust the watermark independently if necessary. When finished, batch-export the photographs, with Lightroom using the individual watermark position/size/opacity stored for each photo.
