Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi, I need to find out how much space I am using from my purchased storage, please. 

My cloud storage is almost full but I dont actually want to use cloud storage since I pay for extra Google Drive space and would prefer to just store photos there.  How can I stop using the cloud and just store them locally on Google Drive. I've read it's better to use Lightroom Classic for this? How would I transfer my photos to Classic? Also any other tips and tricks to keep your photo library smaller? 

Hi all, is something like this possible: 1) Take RAW/ProRAW photos on an iPhone, import them into LR mobile, develop them in LR mobile(I have this much sorted out) 2) Move the RAW/ProRAW photos along with their adjustment settings from the iPhone to my Mac running LR Classic -- but WITHOUT syncing them from LR mobile to Adobe's Cloud, then syncing from Adobe's Cloud to LR Classic on my Mac? I'm hoping to take better quality photos with the mobile on the go, but then keep everything centralized in my LR Classic -- and seems much better if I can do this: Developed photos on LR moble >>> Developed photos in LR Classic Rather than: Developed photos on LR moble>>> Adobe's Cloud >>> Developed photos in LR Classic Thanks for any suggestions!

On my Device tab in iOS app, I have to open a photo and then close it before it is marked with LR. In other words, Lightroom is not properly marking imported photos I have to take this extra step to determine whether photos have already been imported.

Hello, wondering if anyone else recently experienced that the HDR option in Lightroom is unavailable.  I've used the option for many months, and on this windows 11 device for the past 3 months until I noticed today while editing, the option was unavailable.   I've tried to enable it through my systems displays settings but it's only showing SDR as the primary option and HDR available for video only.  Could it be a driver update?

I'm trying to figure out how to delete photos from the Lightroom mobile app, without it deleting the original from my phones camera roll. Everytime I go to delete a photo that I've given Lightroom access to from the app, it deletes the original from my camera roll and I have to restore it from the trash. I do not have anything synced to the cloud, this is all done on device. Note: I'm on the latest version on ios. (iphone)

I have a problem when trying to sreate a slideshow in lightroom whoch continually rearranges the photos in the filmstrip whne creating a slideshow from a collection. Now the photos in the collection are not in a subfolder and are set to custom order in the library and slideshow. Here is the strange thing- when previewing the slideshow the order is correct but whenever the slideshow is created the order is changed. i have created a new colelction and re-added the same phots but have the same issue each time. Any help gratefully received- it is infurating..?I am running Lightroom Calssic 14.1 on mac OS 14 sonoma

Hello, I cannot use Lightroom's AI mask creation functions. When trying to use this function I get a message saying "some Ai skins need to be updated." I click update but nothing happens.

My payment is done for adobe light room but not show on app and not working   [One attachment removed as there were private information including transaction ID's - Mod.]

I bought a subscription and the mask option doesn't work. When I use it, the changes are not saved.

Tiene el mismo chip y ram que el iphone 7 plus, el mismo chip que el ipad de 7 generación y sin embargo no es compatible con el de 6ª generación y si con los otros. No lo puedo entender. Not sure if this is a bug, or just operator error!I upgraded my cloud storage, but Lightroom still shows I am over my storage limit. When I access my account on the creative cloud, it shows I have only used a small portion, but Lightroom doesn't seem to be backing photos up to the cloud, as it thinks I am over the limit.

Hi, I use Lightroom CC  newest version. When I want to work on a picture it partly disappears under  the fold-out screen when I want to start editing or cropping. . Therefore I can not see the cropping marks on the right side of the picture. What 's wrong. Thank you for your help  Piet Hein van der Hoek Amsterdam .

There is an option for storing smart previews locally in Lightroom Desktop, but only on the same drive as where the catalog is stored. This is not convenient as I want to store the catalog locally on my computer while storing smart previews on an external drive. Is it technically possible to do so? Some random thoughts...I've been a heavy user of Lr softwares in the past few years. A conventional idea was that local software runs faster than cloud solutions; however, in recent times I find the Lr Desktop runs smoother than LrC, including loading previews, searching for photos, and even editing newly-imported photos etc. This is good news for Lr Cloud but unfortunate for LrC. So somehow while maintaining the LrC catalog, which is still essential for my photo archive with over 200k photos, Lr Desktop is what I use more and more for daily purposes.

I know recently Lr mobile was enable to import presets from xmp files. Is there a similar way to read editing metadata from xmp files?

Hello everyone.OK, I use Spot Removal in Lightroom Desk Top  A LOT!!! What I do is I edit really, really old photos (from 1940s-1990s) that I have 're-photographed' with my Nikon Z8 in RAW so the 'new' photo is around 45MP. I Then edit them in 'Local' from a folder downloaded onto my PC desk top. As you can imagine some are really battered, even ripped, creased, torn, faded, scratched etc. I Am using an Apple Mac Studio M2 Ultra with 64GB of RAM & 2TB or storage (24 Core CPU, 60 Core GPU, 32 Core Neural Engine). I Specifically brought this set up two months ago for use with Lightroom only, nothing else. However something is going wrong. After several uses of the spot removal tool on a photo in which the spot is removed instantly it then starts to lag, just a millie second at first but after several minutes of use its taking 3 or 4 seconds for the spot removal to do its job and until then its impossible to move to go on to the next one, very, very frustrating!!! When I edit photos, they looked like they have been stretched out width wise.  I can not figure out how to correct it.

Cannot always select remove button in the mask section. If you push the remove button in mask the add button is selected and the selection is added instead of subtracted, this happens to all available selection types. When Lightroom is restarted this issue is resolved

Hello, I recently updated Adobe Lightroom Mobile and noticed the new feature allowing users to share photos directly to Instagram in HDR to preserve photo quality. However, despite using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with all software up to date (Lightroom, Instagram, and system firmware), I do not see the HDR sharing option. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is a flagship device with full HDR capabilities, so this is quite puzzling. I have verified that: My apps (Lightroom Mobile and Instagram) are updated to their latest versions. The device software (One UI and Android version) is fully updated. Is this feature still being rolled out gradually?
