Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I know this is really, really trivial, but it irritates me!   Lightroom Desktop 7.2, Windows 11 23H2   Go to the Crop panel, make an adjustment under Geometry, then right-click on the Geometry heading to reset your adjustment.   The pop-up says "Reset Rotate Flip".   I would expect to see "Reset Geometry". Clicking on "Reset Rotate Flip" does reset the Geometry adjustment so everything actually works OK, it's just irritating (and maybe confusing for new users). Rotate & Flip is the panel above, and it doesn't have a reset facility. Maybe it should have.  

Sometimes, keywords that I know exist don't show up in keyword autocomplete.  I've attached two screenshots. The first shows that a given keyword exists (I created it a week ago). Now I want to apply the same keyword to a larger set, but typeahead doesn't think it exists. These screenshots are taken a few seconds apart.    Other times, attempting to autocomplete turns up nothing at all. But then later it kicks in and suddenly they're all available.    Using Lightroom v7.2

Hi, I would like to take advantage of local files in a number of ways, but I am not exactly sure how local files and the clould based architecture interact. I tend to take a lot of pictures and then come home and wade through them at the end of the day, deleting photos that I don't want to keep. There are usually only a few that are really worth saving. I'd also like to limit the amount of space I pay for in the cloud and have an additional backup just in case the cloud somehow fails.   This is what I am thinking in terms of process to achieve the above goals:   1) Upload all my images to a local directory and then weed out the bad ones. Land these files in a local directory called "New Photos" 2) For files I want to keep, move them to a new local directory called "All Photos". As a result "New Photos" should remain empty most of the time.  3) Add GPS coordinates to photos if they don't exist. Update Location and Title meta-data. I used these Info fileds as search fields

I have had a Lightroom Mobile Premium Account for a year and a half. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S21. My subscription valid until July of 2022. I opened the app this morning and the Selective Edits feature was missing. It was there yesterday and I utilized it. Anyway to recover? I confirmed my subscription, uninstalled then reinstalled the app, signed in with my ID and password, but still no Selective Edits. Any ideas?

Whenever I export an editted photo and open it on my mac the photos look grainy and much lower quality than what I had in lightroom before the export. Putting these photos on social media or looking at them on my phone they seem to be back to the quality they were before the export. Export settings are:JPGCustom dimension6000 pixels longside100% qualityStandard screen sharpeningsRGB How can I have the images retain good quality when being viewed on my mac? I want to make sure anyone I send the photos to can see good quality photos.

I've a big issue, have been using Lightroom mobile for a few years but recently got a new SD card and tried changing storage location to SD Card but its been days and its stuck endlessly going Copying to new storage location. I've tried moving all the photos out of the folder to a new one on the phone (wish id done that in the first place) als otried force stopping the app but does not work stil lthe same.I've searched and seen others with this problem and they had to uninstall the apps but that is not an option, I do not want to lose all my created presets.Please does anyone have a fix for this without uninstalling? btw  im uasing the free mobile app 

I am not at all familar with LIghtroom, and only work in Photoshop and some similar programs.  In PS I can load multiple layers or images and save them in one Photoshop .PSD file. For example, I could load a photo of a subject and another of texture and then creativity 'mix' the two, masks and different blending modes and opacities - and I can save all of these while keeping the underlying images intact.  Can you work with multiple laters or images in LR in the same way. 

I purchased an iPad Pro that has the new 'true tone' display feature.  I think it does a great job, overall, of balancing the display colors, however, I've read that Apple automatically disables their 'true tone' feature when opening their native photos app to view/edit photos. My questions are:1) Does Lightroom CC automatically disable 'true tone' when opening the app to edit photos, same as apple's photos app? 2) If not, should you be manually disabling 'true tone' when editing photos in Lightroom CC to get more accurate color results for prints, or media sharing?Since 'true tone' does change the color tones on the screen based on the surrounding ambient light, I'd like to know what others are doing in this regard.Thanks

Sorry for the vague title, I don't know how else to describe it. When I see videos/screenshots of others' Lightroom on iPad Pro, it looks like this:Note the desktop-like layout, where Home, Shared, and Community are at the top. However, mine looks like it's laid out the same as the iPhone version: Does anyone know why? (And no it's not an 11in vs. 12.9in iPad thing, I've seen YouTubers with their 11-in iPad also having the proper, desktop-like layout).I have the new M4 iPad Pro, if that makes any difference.

Dear all,   I have a laptop (256 GB), shoot in raw and upload in Lightroom CC. Now I have a problem with my storage. Lightroom says to make free space at my harddisk, before I can upload anything. How can I solve this? I did not know that I need a lot of space for using Lightroom. It gets worse by day. Can I remove cache files or something? Or the previews Lightroom stores at my harddisk? How does this work? Does anyone recognize this? Or do I have to upgrade my laptop to 1 TB? Please thank you so much for sharing your experience or advice.   Marije

Will there ever be a brush tool in Lightroom mobile?

I have a lot of pictures (3100) that I'd like to process through "enhancement tool". But memory seems to be a large issue while I cannot deal with it and the only workaround seems to process all images by chunk (150) by hand! Put all my pics on an external drive (4Tb), got 3100 pic to process with enhancement, at approximately 150 computer RAM begin to saturate, process does become WAAYYYY much slower (from 12s to 60 per image using a RTX3060) and then at 630 the free space (150Gb) of my main drive is saturated and I can't continue processing. Ligthroom is then unreachable, got to restart it, 26Gb of generated image have been in file name order (file (1), file (12), file (13), file (2)...) while the program show you the files in the windows file name order (file (1), file (2), file (10) file (11)...). Which means that I cannot take appart the rest of the files not yet processed (and capture order does not help since you do not choose processing order). So I have to process it by c

Hallo zusammen,  ich denke ich habe einen Fehler in der Software gefunden, sobald ich Fotos mit einem voreingestellten preset importiere und diese bearbeiten möchte, ist der Nullpunkt der Schieberegler nach einem dollepklick, nicht mehr bei "0" sondern bei "-9999,99". Zwei Screenshots im Anhang, einmal nach dem importieren und einmal nachdem ich doppelt auf den Schieberegler "Belichtung" getippt habe. Dies erschwert meine Bearbeitung sehr, ist das eine Einstellungssache oder ein Bug? Vielen DankM.Bak  

I have been ujsing Literoom for years, I loggin in this eveing and EVERY SINGLE PHOTO I uploaded is gone... Years of work just gone.... Can anyone help me? I am sick to my stomach

Good morning.the last LR update was not working . assistance from Adobe asked me to delete some pictures from web platform and some files on local.i was overriding the amount of space online, yet on my pc it was working and i could manage my pictures.when update installed, the program was stucked and once i could re - open it all the pictures which where not syncornized were lost.Is there any way to recover them in the local files?thanks a lot for help 

All of my photos are now loading with this weird ghosting or artifact, even unedited ones. Any help with what this is called or how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. Please see attached photos for an example.

I'm attempting to create a focus stacked image from several photos that I took. I've brought the images into lightroom and made my adjustments, but I can't seem to select all of the images and edit them in photoshop as layers as the edit in menu is grayed out when I attempt to export multiple images (this happens with both RAW and JPEG images). Does anyone know of any work around besides having both clasic and cloud installed on my computer?Replication steps:1) load images into lightroom2) Select mulitple images from my albumExpected Behavior- Edit In Photoshop menu should be able to be selected and I can choose to open the images as layers in photoshopCurrent Behavior- Edit In menu option is grayed out and I cannot export my images as layers in photoshop.
