Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I have my jpg photos and wanted to use the adobe vivid color profile, but it doesn't show up. I heard that it only works with RAW photos or something so does anyone know how to convert if so? Can someone please help. 

Hi,  In the LR app, I can't see a way to select another device on my network to import photos.  From browsing the forum it seems like this might be possible with Apple 🤔 🤔 I have a synology NAS. I upload my RAW photos from my SLR to it.  (I can get by with my PC, of course.)  Thanks Steve 

From a about a couple of weeks ago, I can't import most of my mp4 videos. It gives an error message: "The movie files contain no video frames" as in the attached screenshot. The videos can be played by Media Player, so nothing should be wrong with the vidoes. I also tried on some videos I imported before successfully. I saved a copy of them, renamed and imported them again, and now I can't any more!  What's more weird is that it doesn't happen to all new videos. A few of them can, and it seems to be random. For example I took two consecutitive videos of my phone and tried to import them both. One of them made it but the other one failed.  To add a detail. All these videos were took with my cell phone. I downloaded them from Google Photos before importing them. Speaking of which, I haven't tried vidoes taking with a digital camera. But I've always been downloading videos from Google Photos and I never had such a problem before. Any idea?  Thank you very muc

I have made a number of raw photo's and imported them into Lightroom. Then, I do some modifications (e.g. denoise, adjust colors/light etc.). After that, I would like to convert the raw, modified image to a JPEG and save it in the same album in Lightroom (I convert to JPEG to save storage space).  I cannot find a way to do so. There is the possibility to export, but there is no option to choose to export to the same album. There is not even an option to save to Lightroom at all. The only thing I can do is to export to a folder on my Macbook.  On internet, I found that Lightroom Classic has this option. But I use Lightroom 7.0 (not Classic). Does anyone know what to do? Lightroom 7.0 cloud based on M2 Macbook Air (Sonoma 14.1) with hundreds of gigabytes of photo cache space; cannot scan through edited HEIC photos - there is a several second delay on each photo as previous edits are applied. Exporting original file to full size 100% jpeg is, of course, 4 times larger, but scanning is OK; Seems like edited views of HEIC photos are not being saved. Any ideas?

Normal operation of the Spot Healing brush shows both the area to be healed or cloned and the source area for the information to use to heal or clone the selection. Recently, Lightroom Classic on a Windows 10 PC is only showing the area to be healed or cloned.  The source is not showing.  Makes the brush almost useless! Anyone have a soultion? Thanks

I noticed others having the same issue but it seemed their issues were encountered while using Lightroom on their mobile devices. I am using a PC and it has been giving me hell to export edited videos. Has this issue been corrected yet? I uninstalled Lightroom and reinstalled it, restarted my PC thinking maybe there was something hinky going on there but it still is not working...Please help.

I love the Adobe Lightroom app but why am I getting bombarded with the message to leave a review every time I open the app now despite leaving multiple?!

Hello all. I am curious if the HDR mode on the Lightroom Camera will work on Android devices. Specifically the Galaxy S23 Ultra. I am moving over to try out mobile photography from mirrorless and I am messing around with the HDR mode on LR Camera on my old iphone 11 pro. I have seen some fragmented info online that HDR mode in the LR Camera app may not work on android devices. I was hoping to find out something conclusive since I am considering the S23U as a phone upgrade and wondering whether or not this function would be available to me on the new phone. Thanks.

Is there a way to keep the local copy of the Lightroom Desktop back up folder in sync with the cloud or is it possible to update it from time to time? Arend

Would love to be able to resize images in LR Mobile. Also to be able to resize multiple images at the same time. Downsizing images on your phone for social media takes forever, so would be nice to have this feature.       {Thread title updated by moderator}

Hello. Before describing the bug, I would like to say that I tried 5 times to contact Adobe support about this issue, 2 times the technician closed the chat and it was impossible to open it again, the system always wrote "we are closed, try again later", but if I started a new chat on a new problem, employees immediately joined.Once I managed to convince an employee to open a Case and add a description of the problem, but the next day I received an email that the Case was closed. I contacted support again, specified the case number, and was told that the description of the problem was unclear and advised to reinstall the application.Case Number: ADB-31542297-B6F2I have contacted Adobe about 2 issues and the result has always been the same. Adobe support is the worst support I have ever encountered in my life.  By the bug, it is very narrowly specific. There is a technical problem in Lightroom Mobile when importing RAW photos from my camera (Panasonic S5 II, RW2 format).

I recently responded to this Lr message that came up when I opened the application, "Lightroon would like to access images on an external drive."  Allow/Don't Allow?  I accidently responded "Don't Allow", and in less that 20 seconds all images I had in Albums and Folders were removed.  The Folders/Albums still are shown, there just aren't any images in them.  Is there some way to reverse this?  I hope I don't have to repeat the import process over again....needless to say.....tons of images.   Are image addresses/links still in tact and all I have to do is re-establish the drive connection??  Using Lr v. 7.0

My spot removal/healing/cloning tool in Lightroom has not been working for a while now. I use it on a raw image or jpg and they remain completely unchanged. I have attached an image using the tool and one without to show what I mean.

My lightroom mobile doesn't have the photo blur feature, I updated the app to version 9.0

dear all,I am using LRCLoud so as to always keep sort of automatic back-up while travelling.Used it initially to re-edit my photos but now I'd rather use LRClassic cause more precise and customizable.Is there a way to use same catalog for both, may I direct LRCLassic to the catalog of LRCloud ?thank you.eric

Actual resultCapture date in shown in Lightroom shows some current date (import date or last modified, doesnt matter for this bug report). Expected resultThe "Captured" date in Lightroom should equal the "Media created on" date from the original video file. The Media created on date can be seen when observing the file details in Windows Explorer. ImpactI need to manually correct each single imported video in Lightroom. I have hundreds of such video files to go.I'm not aware of any third party tool (would be rediculous ..) or other way of importing. Not sure if relevant- I used drag & drop of a folder from windows explorer- I used old videos from like 2009-2010 with mjpg codec and avi file extension It did not matter to me- if you import one or multiple of such videos at once from same windows folder- if you combined the import with images in same windows folder

LR Mobile app on Pixel 7 Android 14 keeps launching on its own randomlyLR version v9.0.0. I have uninstalled the application and reinstalled. Same behavior, app randomly launches on Pixel 7 running  Android 14.

Lightroom mobile is not syicing all my persets... 

Hey!Was wondering if someone here would be able to help me out, i have developed an app that includes presets that have been created in lightroom. I have exported the files as CUBE files but when adding them into the app they just arent applying anywhere near the same as what have been made in lightroom. Is there a different way to add presets to an app without the CUBE files? I havealso tried apples CI filters which are a nightmare...

Desde un dispositivo Android: Hice la importación de algunas fotografías, y al momento de trabajarlas me di cuenta que el tiempo que se estaban importando era demasiado, hasta ahora no había problema sin embargo más tarde me empezó aparecer el mensaje de "error al cargar la versión de desarrollo" y no tenia acceso a las fotografías, intenté reiniciar la aplicación y el dispositivo y al no poder solucionar el problema probe en borrar e instalar nuevamente lightroom mobile, pero el problema que tengo ahora es que al iniciar la aplicación me pide seleccionar una cuenta y al seleccionar mi cuenta con suscripción pagada no sucede nada, solo en ocasiones me aparece el mensaje de "no pudimos acceder con su cuenta Google" y esta es la que siempre uso, ya probé de todo, que alguien me ayude!! 🤯
