Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi, can anybody help me. I want to leave Lightroom mobile. Before I do I want to download all my photos to an external hard drive. I have no idea how to do this? What can I do please?

Moved over from LR Classic to LR CC as I needed access to the various albums across a couple of devices.  In my naivity to stupidly thought that the basic features in LR Classic would be in LR CC and it feels like that everytime I go for an action it is "Not available in LR CC".  No manual face tagging, unable to export more than one image into Photoshop, and I am sure there are going to be more as use it.   I have said it before, we pay Adobe a great deal of money for, in general, good software that falls down on fairly basic functions.   Rant over.

It's not clear what security there is to prevent access to the 'Gallery' in Lightroom Web? Does anyone have any answers for the following? The 'Gallery' (under 'All Photos') can be accessed by anyone with the 'Gallery' URL.  What is to prevent crawlers trawling all the adobe URLs and hoovering up all the images and metadata?When I add a shared album by using  'Share in Gallery', the 'Gallery' doesn't seem to honour the shared album settings e.g. 'Invite only'.  Is this the case?Is it possible to password protect the Gallery or control who/what can access it? Thank you

How am I supposed to use some of the shortcuts in Lightroom (creative cloud desktop version) when the corresponding keys are not found on my non-us layout keyboard? For example the option to toggle between original and edited photo (\). On my keyboard you need to press alt gr and the plus key to type that character but that does not work in lightroom (not to mention it takes to keys instead of one). In older lightroom versions there were atleast workarounds to customize the shortcuts but so far I haven't found any ways to do it in the latest cc version. If you don't care to support users with non-us keyboards (there must be tons of them), would you atleast consider enabling customization of the keyboard shortcuts?

This is pretty elementary, but I cannot find the Lr app I just bought and downloaded. I spent about an hour on it going through some of the tutorials. Inder my applicsitons tab Mac), I see Lr but it says it cnanot open it. I also see Adobe Creative C;loud (ugh...Adode has way too many product naames floating aorund); that app opens but does not look like the Lr I looked at two days ago.  Can anyone help?  No one is available on chat.  Thanks.  

bonjour, j'ai été obligé de formater mon Mac ( bug, la souris faisait ce qu'elle voulait, et le Mac redemarrait toute les 2 minutes) la sav m'a fait faire des dizaines de manip san srésultat, bref je redémarre, je viens de ré installer photoshop et LR mais je pensais vraiment qu'avecmon adressse mail, mon historique reviendrait sans probléme, sur photosshop je n'ai plus es actiosn ni mes filtres et sur lr, plsl de catalogue , pmlus rien de rien. est ce normal? ou bienil faut faire une manip spéciale. MERCI pour vore aide car franchemtn je ne m'attendais pas à cela .

I have pooled all photos (2.5 Tb) to external hard disk. File path structures are the same as in lrcat files created by Lightroom CC 6.5.1. I try to open the lrcat files but it fails for following reasons: - Something went wrong, The Lightroom catalog cannot be opened because another application already has it opened (I tied this: https://helpx.adobe.com/fi/lightroom-classic/kb/lightroom-error-catalog-cannot-be-opened-lrcat-lock.html) - Unsupported catalog version, This version of Lightroom cannot migrate the selected catalog   I managed to open some lrcat files by copying them to the same drive (C:\[original path]) but I can see that ratings (stars, rejected, flagged) are only imported but not the adjustments (white balance etc). How can I migrate the photos with adjustements as well?

As a hobbyist, I don't feel I need the robust catalog management of Lightroom Classic, and the clunky cloud sync it uses.  I love that we can now use local folders on Lightroom (desktop)!  I plan to take advantage of this and do my edits from an external SSD.  I understand that images I edit, flag, etc., will get a sidecar file on the SSD, and that I can send whatever I want to the cloud, and then if I make further edits locally I can update the cloud file to get those additional edits. My question is, let's say I edit an image locally, then send it to the cloud, and then do edits on my ipad, or I'm on vacation with just my iPad and I import images to Lr on that (which get stored in the cloud, and I've also transfered the raw files to the SSD) and do some edits.  How can I get those edits done on the ipad and stored in the cloud exported so I can put them on my SSD?  Is there a way to get the .xmp sidecar file with the edit info that I can then load into t

Issue:Lightroom crashes when importing photos from the camera. Lightroom Version:Lightroom android, v8.5.2 Phone model:OPPO Find X3 Neo Android version:Android 13 / Color OS 13.1 Issue:-plug the camera (canon r5) to the phone via USB C, -the lightroom import window appears with photo thumbnails -wait for the thumbnails to load -select the photos I want to import.  -From here, lightroom either crashes when I click and select the images, especially if I click and drag from the bottom up. -Or lightroom crashes when importing the photos (especially if it's getting close/above 1000) Things I tried so far: -Clearing the cache-Restarting the phone-closing all other apps -putting the phone on high performance-allowing 'background activity' for lightroom  (A note: having a star rating system on the import window would really help avoiding the import of thousands of photos)

Hi, I edited and uploaded a video in 100fps from my Sony A6700, using Lightroom Mobile. Afterwards the video appears in my Creative Cloud Service and I can play the file just fine in the browser, it includes the edits. Now I have two problems:1. I can not export the final edit (MP4) via Lightroom Mobile. I keep getting the error "Export wasn't possible." 2. When I export the MP4 (not original) directly from the cloud, the file is strechted in time at 30fps and lacking any sound. Please add this bug to the bugfix list.

I have lost my auto saved photos after updating cna you send in to <removed for privacy>

I primarily use LrC but was using cloud sync to get mobile photos into LrC. Because Adobe's cloud and LrC integration is so atrocious and confusing, I decided to delete my cloud lightroom library to free up the 20GB limit that was full. When I did that and re-enabled cloud sync, it was trying to import over 10,000 photos, 90% of which are already in LrC. If I let this process, will it duplicate the majority of my photos in LrC or will it recognize duplicates? All I want is for mobile photos to import into LrC and follow my folder hierarchy (which it used to do). 

Bonjour, J'ai installé Lightroom pour Android sur mon téléphone pixel.Cela fonctionne bien, mais je ne peux pas utiliser la fonction "Flou de l'objectif" car il semble ne rien faire même après 15 minutes, il y a bien une petit cercle qui tourne et qui me dit que cela travaille mais rien de plus ... Merci pour toute suggestion. Hello, I installed Lightroom for Android on my Pixel phone. It is working fine, however I can't use the "lens blur" function as it seems to do nothing even after 15 minutes of an active spinning wheel... Thank you for any suggestion.

Bonojour, j’ai constaté il me semble quelques bugs au niveau filigrane. La position droite ou gauche change selon la taille de police. Explication quand je prends 4 en taille, je suis à plusieurs cnetimetre du bord droit, mais quand je prends 8 je me retrouve à 0 centimètre du bord doit et c’est encore différent si j’utilise décalage verticale. Aquoi correspond les chiffres en unité de mesure, à des Pixels, des Centimètres ? Comment mettre mon filigrane de 4 complètement à droite ? Bonne journée, cordialement. NUAGE LIGHTROOM

My computer's memory is completely full because of lightroom. Where can I find the folder holding all the backed up copies of my photos so i can delete them? I'm using Lightroom CC. Any tips? thank you.

When accessing just the Cloud tab, I am regularly receiving a "An unknown error has occurred" message. This occurs on both my 13" and 15" MacBook Airs - running the latest version of macOS Sonoma.  The 13" has 8GB of RAM and the 15" has 16GB.  Both 1TB SSD's.
