Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

When I upload new pictures of people the face detection regulary identify an elbow, fingers etc as a face. Is there a way to take this away?

Hi there,Is there a version of Lightroom that I can download my RAW captures to and actually process them on an iPad.Ive just bought a Hasselblad X1DII and I need to process the images in something other than Hasselblad's Phocus software! Ideally I would really like to do this on my new 4th gen iPad Pro. I'd also like to tether the camera to the iPad and either shoot directly on to the iPad or download images to it.I would appreciate some help with this. Many thanks Nick

How to create gridlines in Lr CC?:

Bonjour, Depuis quelques jours, lorsque je lance le logiciel, ce dernier de répond pas.Aucune de mes photos chargées ne s'affiche (cf capture d'écran). Un message d'erreur apparait (cf capture d'écran). Lorsque je clique sur OK, le logiciel se ferme. J'ai vérifié la mise à jour du logiciel puis celui du PC, tout est à jour. Avez-vous déjà rencontré ce bug ? Quelles sont les solutions possibles pour palier à ce problème ? Merci d'avance !

I am having a LOT of trouble with the cloud based LR program.  It runs correctly about 90% of the time but the other 10% it drives me crazy.  Today it began acting up again. After I downloaded pic's from my HD I began reviewing them to cull the bad shots.  What happens is after I select a group, from 1 up to say 20 or 30 and hit delete they are removed. But THAT'S it. I can't delete any more pic's. I can process pic's, crop, etc., but I am unable to export them and when I try to delete any more pic's they stay in my task bar, heavily greyed out.   I can't even shut the program unless I utilize the Task Manager. I've tried uninstalling several times and nothing helps.  I'm running a Win11, 3tb SSD, i7 intel chip, high end graphics card and 32gb of memory. Version 6.4 of LR.  I have been running this set up for 2 years now without trouble. WHAT IS THE SOLUTION? THanksMike

Hey - I'm having loads of issues uploading .raf files to the lightroom cloud through the browser. I chucked in a load of files and left them to upload over night, the first 25% uploaded fine (though I cant find them anywhere in lightoom), but something interrupted the upload so it seemed to stall. I couldnt get it going again, and now I cannot upload anything at all to the cloud, everything instantly fails.   I've checked storage and it says I've used 80gb of my 1tb allowance.   Can someone please help me with the uploads?   thanks       {Thread title updated by moderator}

Hi, I've been using Lightroom CC and wanted to test the AI denoise for my wedding pictures but it seems that it doesn't work. I don't know why cause I tried following tutorials and youtube videos. When I set it to like 65 and then click the blue button to denoise it says its like rendering in DNG, but when it's finished it doesnt change my file into a DNG file or if it does idk where it saves. I tried to check on forums but I got a Panasonic GH5. My pictures are RAW in format RW2 and on the website it says that the latest version should work for panasonic GH5. Do I need to use the JPEG file instead?Thank you to whoever can try to help me fix that.

Hi! How do I display the respective "histogram" when using the tone curves? I only see the curve, but not the respective color space behind it. I want to invert negatives and need to see the respective color space in the separate color channels to do so. Thanks in advance!

Hello ! My Lightroom cloud is almost full, I would like to remove photos I'm not editing anymore, but I would like to keep all the settings I did on it. Is there a way to export everything properly on a hard-drive so I can remove it from the cloud but whenever I want I can import it again with all the modifications history ? Thanks!

I migrated a LrC catalog into Lr. However, when viewing the photos in the migrated catalog in Lr, the develop settings seem to not have migrated along. All photos and collections transferred, but my edits of all those photo's appear lost. I simply see the Raw pictures in their original state. What could be the issue here?

There was an option to delete images after I've opened them in expanded view. After the recent update, I'm not able to delete the images which I don't like. The delete option is only available in the gallery view. I want to review my images in detail and decide which one's to keep and which to delete. I think this option needs to be reintroduced in the expanded view mode. 

When I copy and paste settings from one image to another, the settings apply to the new photo but incorrectly.  Why does this happen? Video example here: https://youtu.be/g9Ouj2_UVYU I sent rough edits to a client with different crops.  The client likes the one I am copying settings from to apply to the other image. The second image is an HDR that has rthe dynamic range I can edit to get the look the client wants.  Do not want to have to eyeball the crop and redo perspective as I have to do this for multiple images. System specs:LR 9.0 CR 12.0macOS 10.15.12019 Macbook Pro 16"2.4 GHz32 GB RAM5500M 8GB GPU

The new update on Lightroom doesn't let me sort photos by capture date anymore. I can only sort them by upload date and there is no available option to change this. How do I fix this?

I opened my v.8.4.0 iOS version of Lightroom and noticed that several of the file names albums/folders still existed, but no photos are synced in them. I then opened up my 6.4 macOS version of Lightroom and they were also missing from the folders there, but as far as a I can tell are still in All Photos (phew!). For example, the screenshot below shows my 20160703 Cornwall photos in All Photos but the folder on the left (along with several others) are empty. I haven't knowingly removed photos from those folders, additionally the issue affects a batch of 2016 folders, but also apparently random folders from 2017, 2018, 2020 etc.How can I restore these photos to their correct folder? Or do I have put them back in one by one?  

Hello! Im a tattoo artist and i developed 5 important presets for my photos. They're not working well anymore. All photos are looking strange since a week ago. Im using the same camera (sonya6400), same light on studio. when i apply my presets the photos looks sa strange that i cant use it anymore. There is a problem too on white balance using my presets now, they are changing a lot all the photos. When i try tô adjust red tons on gradient it doesnt work very well, like there is no red anymore and the the red tons are all in orange tons. theyre are looking all terríble now. when i try tô copy and paste some old config using my presets on some edited photo it gives me strange results 

I purchased a preset online, I have it download it on my phone but don't know how to get that file into Lightroom? Can someone please help?       {Thread title updated by moderator}

Ciao a tutti, ho un problema con Lightroom. Ogni 2/3 foto mi crasha contiuamente, idem quando seleziono le maschere. Ho già provato a disattivare l'uso del processore grafico ma nulla.

Hey everyone, need help. I'm getting irritated at these random blank file "images" that appear. I've gone throuh to remove the month to transfer to hard storage (can't stand the cloud), and these are undeletable and very annoying to have stick around. I've tried looking at the originals to see if there's blank previews, but no luck.I've also tried finding it in the web browser variant of the cloud storage, they don't show up there. Any help? Thanks.

Hi, it seems there is some problem/bug.Recently I installed the adobe lightroom on my android smartphone, as I was exploring some photo editing features I kept getting stuck as the app was giving me "Adobe has suspended all sales in your country" window.After pressing "Read more", it sends me to an article regarding adobe closing sales in russia.The problem is, I'm ukrainian citizen, I live in Ukraine, I have only Ukraine citizenship status and all that. What do I do? 

This has been racking my brains now and I need some help please. My Cloud Storage in CC says 16GB out of 20GB. I'm deleting photos from LR CC and LR Mobile but it's having no difference on the cloud storage. I've also gone to Assests and Archive and it says I have no files uploaded at all. I'm completely baffled by this and wondered if someone can help me please?

I'm relatively familiar with Classic, but just getting my feet wet with this new Lightroom (Cloudy). And I'm not very handy with using an iPhone. Last night I was trying to delete a mistakenly taken photo in Lightroom on the iPhone and eventually stumbled onto how to do it. Don't know if I can go back and find it again today. Don't laugh, I struggle with the phone, primarily because of a disability. I went to YouTube looking for some tutorials, that all of the Julianne Kost Tutorials for Lightroom Mobile that I have watched so far are tied to Lightroom 5, so they are quite old, not up to date at all. I'm using current releases, Classic 8.4 and Cloudy 2.4, and what ever the current mobile app is. I'm old and don't learn very well myself, so I need some good up to date video tutorials. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Looking to roll back a version as LR Mobile has lost the ability to sort by recent imports. The tab has gone completely! Frustrating as I use that as part of much workflow! going to try to revert but having trouble finding how to do that.
