Hi! I have found out that both GPU and memory impact the AI denoise times - but which would be the more important factor?Let's say I wanted to get a MacBook with an M3 Pro processor. Would it be more beneficial to go with:a)  M3 Pro with 14 GPU cores and 36GB unified memoryb) M3 Pro with 18 GPU cores and 18GB unified memoryWhich upgrade over the base M3 Pro (14c, 18GB) will provide more beneficial results? For context, I'm not buying any machine right now. I am happy with my low-er end Air (M2, 8c, 8GB). Only time I have to wait in LR is the AI denoise - it takes 30s for 16Mp photos and 35s for 20Mp. I was wondering if I should mainly focus on more RAM or better GPU when I will be getting a new machine in a few years. If anyone has  compared how the denoise times compare on chips that are already out, like different configurations of M2/Pro/Max/Ultra (or M1), I would really appreciate if you could share these results. I am unable to use the auto mask feature after the lastest October version 7.0 update. When trying to use an AI mask an error message comes up "Something went wrong - There was an unexpected error and your request could not be complete.". Under the masking panel, LR also does not recognize any human subjects.    I am on MacOS 14.0 and have tried reinstalling LR. Is this a known bug currently or something wrong with my system/installation?       

I have Lightroom (not CC) and imported over 60,000 photos that I am now ready to tag names to the people.  I cannot figure how to add names to some of the photos and then have the system search for one of them so I can tag batches of them with the same person in them.  I cannot find a User Manual and all I was able to find via Google/Adobe site is that tagging and batch adding names existed.  Any idea how I can do this?  Thanks!! 

Using Lightroom V9.0 for Android. I had a series of photos open yesterday and edited them, and today, they have completely disappeared from my Lr catalog. They were in a folder of 22 images and now there are only 12 images in it. I opened Lr on Desktop to see if they were still there. When it opened, it said "22 images" and then moments later when it sync'd, the photos were gone too, and it was showing the album as "12 images." The photos are not in Deleted on Lr Mobile, Lr Desktop or Lr Web. They are simply gone without a trace, along with their edits. They are not in All Photos. They are not in the matched collection in Lightroom Classic. When I go to the original file in Lightroom Classic through the Files section of my catalog, it shows in the History that it was "synced from Lightroom mobile" but it's not in the collection it should be in, it's not in All Photos, and it's not showing the edits that I did yesterday. Any ideas how to get these photos back, where they

Hello,Lightroom stores original files on Disc C  - on my computer this is : C:\Users\Miroslaw\AppData\Local\Adobe\LightroomCC\Data\47fc3c74a31a45e18813f4434d5e85ed\originals.  In my case it was more than 300 GB, which occupied most of my 500 GB disc. I removed all those files, as I usually keep originals on a seperate disc. Problem: after the original files wre removed from my disc - I can no longer perform any operations on those files. Lightroom displays the removed files all right, but all editiong functions are inactive. Albums are displayed, files in the albums also - but editting is not possible. I  tried to romove one of the albums and re-make it again, adding the same files, but LT says that these files have already been added and refuses to add them again. During the romoval there was information that aolbum will be removed, but the files will be kept in a library.  Unfortunatelly - I CAN'T find where these libraries are - if I could - I would rem

Goodmorning, On my Ipad and laptop all my presets are available, but.. On my smartphone I can not seem to get the presets back. I was using them but I made a back up and I think I deleted the settings by accident... Does anybody know how I can get them back om my smartphone without manually adding them?  Many thanks in advance!   Esther

Im simply trying to duplicate a file in Lightroom. Just like how I do it in Lightroom Classic. I saw the workaround is to export the file then select Lightroom. So within Lightroom on my iPad I select the file, and export. I select TIF as the file type. I then give it a custom name. I export it, and select Lightroom. I get a popup saying that the file will be imported the next time I start Lightroom. So I shut down Lightroom and start it up again. I can only find the file within the Imports folder. And the file is a jpg, and it has the original file name and not the custom name I give it. Is this the expected result? What the heck am I doing wrong here? This is a 1 second operation in Classic. Is this a bug??? Thanks

This is an issue I've been having off and on for months. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app which didn't fix the issue:cloud synced photos will not download to my IOS app at all, making the app useless to me. The spinning loading logo goes on endlessly, and not a single photo/smart preview will download. Using iOS 16.6.1 on IPhone 13 

I have 840 photos in an album and i'm trying to rate and export specific photos. The problem is that Lightroom won't let me select a single photo. I try clicking off the image, open a single photo, anything to select only a single image but it still keeps on selecting all of the photos. Any ideas?

Buenas, tengo un Ipad de 9gen con ios 17 y iphone 11 tmb ios 17, en el iphone me sale la opcion de ios 17, en la tablet aun no, en ambos casos tengo la ultima version de lightroom actualizada, es un problema de mi equipo? O desenfoque de lemte con ia aun no esta dispnible en ipad?

After File>Export, how do I print?  Where is the print module? Do I have to do this with PS?I am using LR 3.2.

Der ist längst voll und wird nicht mehr synchronisiert.)Die App nimmt laut Speicherauskunft 299GB auf dem iPad ein. Ich habe nun einen weiteren Adobe Account unter einer anderen E-Mail-Adresse. Wie kann ich den Lightroombestand von dem einen auf das andere Adobe-Account übertragen? (Wenn ich mich in der App mit wechselnden E-Mail-Adressen anmelde, kann ich jeweils auf die Fotos und Bearbeitungen zugreifen, die ich unter dem jeweiligen Account angelegt habe. Ich hätte jedoch gerne alles unter einen Account.)Vielen Dank im Voraus! 🙃

Hi all,I love the idea of the AI denoise tool, and it was working excellently when it was first released. For some time, however, the tool is massively distorting image colors and darkening the images, rendering the tool entirely useless. I haven't been able to find any other users having similar issues, so I'm at a loss. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Lightroom.  Sample images are below (pre- and post-denoising), along with my system info. The GPU is an AMD RX 6750 XT. My camera is a Nikon z6, and these images were taken with Nikon S lenses.

Hi People,I want to raise one concern, regarding LR. When I am trying to export edited video or even share directly on social media platforms it shows messy frame, some mixed shots see uploaded example can someone help?

It's really eating up space on my Mac and I am not sure what is causing such huge files under Apps and user data in lightroom. Anyone has a fix or know what to do?
