I'm editing some photos in HDR on mobile, and wondering if it's possible to change the HDR stop limit on the mobile app. I can change it on desktop (below the normal "Light" controls when editing in HDR). However, can't seem to find it on mobile (iOS or iPadOS). I see find HDR on/off, previewing and editing SDR rendering, and visualizing HDR, but not HDR stop limiting. Any HDR stop limiting that is put in place on desktop is respected/shown on mobile—the histogram shows that—but would like to be able to actually change the setting! Not sure if it's a missing feature or I'm just missing something. Using: Lightroom mobile v9.1.0, iPhone 12 Desktop editing on MacOS, Lightroom v7.1.2, MacBook Pro M1
Hello - I am using Lightroom Mobile on an Ipad (my subscription is for the cloud based version of Lightroom) . I am using the slideshow function with both photos and videos. The slideshow plays the photos but when it transitions to a video clip it will not automatically play the video clip unless I hit 'play'. Is there an option to automatically play the clip during a slideshow on the mobile version? Thanks!
I'm relying quite heavily on the great tool that adobe provides in color.adobe.com to balance the colours on some of my photos. It would be fantastic to have it (or a similar visualisation) directly in LightRoom. This way we would be immediately able to see how the colours are balanced in our photos. It could be a alternative display for the histogram, for instance it could be displayed using the angle to represent the colours, the distance between the center and the data point to represent the brightness, and the intensity/opacity of that point to represent the amount of pixels corresponding to that colour/brightness. (I've been using DarkTable for a few months before switching to LightRoom Cloud and mobile, this is probably the missing tool in LightRoom)
I'd like to see Adobe add the MacOS system share sheet to Lightroom on desktop. Currently, it does not have the ability to use the built-in OS share sheet (allowing sharing to email, messages, other apps, added plugins, workflows that you create via Shortcuts, etc)—you can only export the file to the hard drive or use one of the built-in Adobe connections/album/link sharing. This contrasts with the mobile versions for iPadOS/iOS, where the Lightroom share button allows you to choose an export format/settings which then feeds directly into the OS share sheet. The OS share sheet is quite useful for day-to-day sharing of photos and files, and especially nice when paired with the first step of going through Lightroom's export settings. It’d add a lot more flexibility, particularly given the ability to create your own workflows via Shortcuts. This is somewhat related to the “Lightroom Desktop integration with Apple iCloud Photos library” idea, but they function separately
I've recently begun importing into Lightroom cc instead of classic so that I can take advantage of the cloud storage and have raw files everywhere. However, I can't find a way to enlarge the thumbnails in the add photos screen. With classic, you are able to select individual images before importing and view them larger which is really helpful when comparing two similar photos for which one is sharper. I really don't want to have to import every picture on my card in order to decide if its sharp enough to keep. is there a command or option in settings to allow this that I am overlooking? thanks.
When you group photos into a stack it seems to be pretty random. Can it be made that the first photo clicked will be the cover photo for the stacked group? Everytime I group into stack I need to go into the stack and reset the cover photo
Request: Improve legibility of Text Images using either PNG or JPG format in Lightroom Mobile preview mode. Issue: The preview of a Text Image is not legible when synced with a collection in Lightroom Mobile. Workflow Impact: Customer cannot use preview mode to quickly scan through many images in Lightroom Mobile. Instead, they have to open each file in order to read it and then close the file. This is very time consuming. This issue does not occur with Photo Images. Original Images: The images were taken by the device and, therefore, are original images and not “Smart previews”. When they are viewed in Lightroom.Adobe.com and press the “I’ icon it confirms that by saying “Original Image”. Software: Platform and OS version: Windows 10 v: 10.0.19045 Lightroom Classic (13.1) 13.1 [ 202312111226-41a494e8 ] IOS Device: iPad Pro 10.5 Inch iPadOS 17.2 Lightroom v 9.1.0.40E571/123 Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Create Text Image in Photoshop/Import to Lig
Request: Have Adobe customers receive an email notification when someone posts a comment or like in a shared album. Issue: Customer only receives notifications when they have the application open through a badge on the bell icon. Workflow issue: An email notification would enable customers to respond much more quickly when someone posts a comment or a like. This will likely result in them opening the Adobe applications more often: increasing usage. With generative fill and AI, this will be increasingly important.
Request: Change color to grey background like Exif data for both the Photo Info overlay information and File Type in Lightroom Mobile in preview mode. Issue: Customers cannot view the Photo Info or File Type overlay information in Lightroom Mobile for slides with a white background, especially in Preview/grid mode. Workflow issue: This is especially disruptive when scrolling through text slides with a white background in preview mode. Note: The overlays, EXIF data, and Flags and ratings, Contributor do not have this issue
On iPad the Geometry guides don't attach to the photo and float freely after being placed but do re-attach where they should be after closing the geometry menu and opening again but if zooming in or out they detach again. (On the newest version of iPadOS and Lightroom as of posting)
Please add the option to selected multiple albums and have them "store locally" more easy. Or allow it for the whole folder they are in "store everything in this folder locally".I'm going to updrade my tablet soon and am already dreading that I have to do 2 taps on over a hundred albums to get them stored locally again. Nevermind keeping the tablet active with "display on" for multiple hours afterwards to let it download the files. Usability is really poor:no copy and paste on multiple files of photo orientation (not cropping but 90° turns of the whole image)no option to apply or copy "auto settings" onto multiple photosno "store locally" for multiple albums (select and hit "store locally" instead of picking each singel one)no copy and paste on multiple photos for generating "AI masks" (works for a single photo if you paste it, but not with "use last development settings")no copy and paste on multiple photos of "locked aspect ratio" stateno "jump to album" (or even info what album
Hi Guys, when picking or rejecting an image in Lightroom mobile, the undo button does not work. When not using filters this is ok, but when filters are enabled, to hide rejected images, and one makes a mistake, this is hugely frustrating as clearing the filters take you back to the first image and not the image you auctioned. Please advise if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong.
Greetings good people, I would like to embed a Lightroom gallery on a Wordpress website, but I have no luck finding the embed code. I have done it once before a couple of months ago without problems so I am a bit puzzled. There is a post at the Webflow forum that describes the procedure (https://discourse.webflow.com/t/embed-lightroom-gallery-into-webflow/228595/2), but as you can see from the attached screenshot (which is in Danish - sorry about that) I do not have any embed code. I have tried both the Lightroom App and lightroom.adobe.com. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Best regards, Thomas
It would be precious to enable lightroom mobile for iOS and iPadOS to import all the images contained in a folder with subfolders. For instance if I have a folder named by year with subfolders named by month and then by day, would be nice to have the possibility to select the "year" folder and import all the pictures of the year. At the moment I have to enter in every single folder, select an image, then press on select all. For each single folder.
Gracias.
I have suggestions to add scanner to edit the photo in one click , so the editor time not be consumed much .. and editing should be done easily. Kindly request to you please make atleast this option and make sure it's free for users. Thank you team Respect all team of the Lightroom
Would help a lot if we could use the meta data (like title, caption, copyright, etc.) or tags as variable to name the exported files with the custom file naming.
When searching lightroom and entering "January 8" the result is every photo that have "january" or "8" anywhere attached to the photos. Not really helpfull. Need a way to find the picture s that is associated with the daye "January 8" and only these, any year. Please fix
Hello, it’s possible to develop a real way to work without the cloud (for iPad), i would like to work on an external hard drive only, has I do with m'y computer! I'am sure that i'm not the only person thinking that the cloud is unconstructive, and a bad workflow....
This is a request to open files as PSD in Photoshop from Lightroom on the Desktop. In Lightroom on the iPad, it opens as a PSD and saves back to Lightroom. On the Desktop, however, it opens as a TIFF for some reason. This is true, even if you open a PSD from Lightroom on the Desktop. It opens up and saves back as a new TIFF file. Ideally, this behavior would be consistent across the platform and default to PSD. If anything, I would want a choice between PSD and PSDC, rather than TIFF (that is personal preference).
I would like to see LR change the selected photo to the dng automatically after creating the dng using LR Denoise. The way it is now you have to select the dng manually, and if you are coming from LRC or ACR that is something I forget every once in a while. The LRC and ACR versions do select the dng automatically so you can just start working the file. Doing this would make all 3 work the same.
Love the mask intersect feature on desktop would love to have on the IPad as well
If I have a lot of similar images, I edit the first one and copy the settings. Then I would like to apply the settings to the next photo in the ratings panel, rate the image, move on to the next one and so on.Unfortunately, I always have to go back to the editing mode first, as "paste settings" is only available there. This is inconvenient and takes much longer.
Lightroom on iOS should include a month/year indicator when dragging the scrollbar handle (aka, thumb) as it does on Android. Currently, scrolling to a specific date on iOS is nearly impossible, as no dates are displayed anywhere. To make matters worse, the All photos album is not grouped by year, as it is on Android. Personally, I prefer Google Photos scrubbing behavior as it shows all years vertically with monthly and daily section headers. But at the very least, Lightroom on iOS should show the month/year in a tooltip while dragging. Oh, and make sure the text meets contrast ratio guidelines; the Android tooltip text is only 3:1 but should be 4.5:1 for text of that size. Here are a couple accessibility references: Apple Human Interface Guidelines: Accessibility › Color and effects US Government Accessibility for Teams: Color and contrast
I´m so overwhelmed by the new HDR possibilities of LRc and LR. And it seemlessly works on all my Apple devices (MacBook pro, iPad and iPhone) - except for my Apple TV. I think this would bring the whole HDR 10 steps forward. Most new TV´s have HDR enabled and a little update for LR for tvOS could bring those pictures on the big screen.
