Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I'm hoping some one can help me. In trying to import pictures onto Lightroom and and I keep getting a notification saying skipping importing duplicates but they are not duplicates. How do I fix this so I can import my photos? 

I've used a program called ACDSee for years and my new company refuses to let me use it. Instead they are making me use Lightroom CC and I don't have a clue how to use it. I know absolutely nothing! Looking for help online, I find tutorial after tutorial about Lightroom CC that say they are for beginners, but they really aren't. Can I show my photos in the same directory structure as they are on my hard drive? ACDSee did that automatically. I need help desperately or I'm dead in the water. Where can I find tutorials that show what to do FROM THE MOMENT I FIRST OPEN THE PROGRAM? Thanks.

Every time that I try to import photos from the SD card into Lightroom, it does not work anymore. When I select the photos (many have exclamation points), I then press "Review for Import" and "Add Items" and always get a different notification as the import fails. Sometimes it's "Unable to Copy", "Missing Source File", or "These Files Appear to be Unsupported or Damaged." Usually, I just keep re-doing the import and it eventually works, but not always. This process used to be so simple.I greatly appreciate any help.

Hi there, i have all my Pictures in my LrM work account. Now I will switch to an other company.Is there a way to take my Library with me? Without loosing all the photos and editing? Thanks for your help! Luca

I have lightroom (not classic).  I would like to back up my photos to an external hard drives. Anyone have a simple process for this? Can they downloaded directly from the cloud storage?

For some reason, the LR Mobiel app only use the normal lens on my iPhone 11.  It doesn't use the ultra wide angle lens.Is there some special settings I don't know about to activate the ultra wide angle lens?

I've recently moved from Classic to Lightroom CC - the ability to edit on various devices really appeals to me. Whilst great, I have noticed the brush tool no longer has a 'soften skin' sub-tool. Bonjour,je rencontre un gros soucis depuis plusieurs semaines.Mon système :CG 5800 3.9 GHZ32 GO RAMDD système : SSD partitionné (C pour le système et D pour les datas)partition D avec un dossier cache de 20 GOJ'ai bien changé le cache de Lightroom ainsi que celui du système. J'ai mis l'option "aperçu dynamique en standards", enlevé les enregistrements XMP, j'optimise les performances du catalogue...Donc en théorie largement de quoi faire tourner Photoshop et Lightroom en même temps....En pratique, Lightroom plante, il fige toutes les 3 ou 4 secondes... Quand je dois traiter 80 images, cela risque de me prendre du temps, et je ne parle pas des futurs mariages, avec 1000 photos à traiter...

Hola , buenas tardes , se que voy bien con mis pagos de adobe Lightroom, pero resulta que quise hacer un revelado hice todos los pasos y cuando lo quise pasar a mi celular no descargó el archivo  , lo intenté varias veces y no pude descargar la foto , cada vez tuve que hacer el trabajo de nuevo       {Title edited by Moderator}

Too much battery and data draining. You must reduce the size of the app. The interface should be cleaner and intuitive. Improves the stability.

The subject line is fully sufficient for the disturbances these people create in our lives. I believe there may be severe drug abuse, likely powerful psychedelics, being used as these people create the software applications they prepare to drive us insane with. And they are succeeding. Is there any way to add text to photos in LightRoom NOT Lightroom Classic. Please help

I have Adobe Lightroom on my iPhone 11 pro and on my Macbook Pro.  The phone version offers masking.  The computer version does not.  Why? I do not like to do edits on the tiny phone screen. 

Hi I have a problem. I bought a premium lightroom license but they took the money from my account and premium plan is not activated.  How to fix this?

Hey all, Halfway through an import, LightRoom started adding a 'profile' to my RAW photos. (warmer, more contrasted)  You can see this on the left, compared to the usual RAW, flat image on the right in Preview. They are also editing as though they are JPEGS when they are RAW images.I've changed the import settings on Preferences from Adobe Standard to Camera RAW. Deleted images and re-imported. Closed and re-opened LR as well as deleting cache files and re-starting my computer. No change.I've just opened Photoshop and its doing it on there in spite of changing the import settings. Strangely it's now flicking to this 'profile' on the Preview also, but only if I drag the Preview to a larger size than the size it opens on. Please help, Cheers Charlotte

When trying to transfer my raw (cr2) pictures from drive to Lr they become tiff fieles. I've bought the subscription so that isn't the issue.

Hoping someone has experienced this and can give insight! I've used Lightroom Mobile (free version) for years. Later today I went to open the app like usual on my iPhone, and immediately a message popped up that said "logging out". I logged back into my Adobe account, and all my photos were gone. I recently got a new work phone, so I checked on the work phone, and the exact same thing happened. Logged out, and when logging back in, all photos were gone. No albums, no folders, no presets. Any ideas what to do? I do not have my account linked to a Lightroom Desktop. I also still have a "Lightroom" photos folder on my phone that shows all previously exported images from Lightroom. My only thought is that I downloaded the latest version of the mobile app, and some kind of bug wiped out all my images?  Anyone experience this before?

Is there a tool that reveals blacked out text in a photo

I am coming back to using lightroom classic and mobile on my ipad, but am getting confused.  I thought that I controlled what was synced by putting into collections (albums on mobile?) and switching synch on or off.  I have just switched from my old imac to my macbook and had to switch catelogues.  I think I made a mistake of allowing the old photos to synch.  Anyway in the albums I have a 100 or so photos, but my synch dialogue shows over 13000!!! I checked on my lightroom mobile and as well as the albums I have something called all photos and it is this that has 13000!!!  They are all photos I recognise but don't know why they are synching.  How do I delete them from the cloud!  I have no idea where the original photos are from, will it be lightroom classic or my camera roll on icloud?  I have looked at some videos but still confused.

This is really frustrating ...   I bought a 1 year subscription to Lightrrom through my Apple ID. (Auto Renews Jan. 13th 2021)   When I try to use lighroom it takes me to a start a 7-day free trial screen. I then click on the bottom "Restore Your Purchase" and I get a message that says    "Sorry, unable to restore your purchase" and the bottom it says "The Subscription has already been purchased from the Mac App Store with a different ID."   What is going on?
