Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi all, I've started using lightroom and dumped 30K of photos into it. I noticed too late in the game that I was merging faces and not tagging wherever a faces were not recognized. I uninstalled the software and deleted the library to start from scratch BUT, to my surprise the software remembered all the names I entered in People Viewer. How do I start from complete scratch, ZERO, so that I can, reimport, rename/tag everyone appropriately? Thank you!

Hello!I used to pay for lightroom and photoshop but then I stopped for a while as I didn't need the premium version. Now my phone got stolen so I bought the premium version to get access to my old photos, but I've only recieved the photos I had before I stopped paying for the app. Does anyone know how to get all my photos back from the period that I did'nt pay for it?

Bonjour, Depuis la dernière MAJ de Lightroom (6.0), le logiciel plante sans arrêt après 5-10minutes et presque directement quand je suis dans les "masques". J'ai vérifié mes drivers graphiques sont bien à jour et sur Photoshop ou Capture One je n'ai aucun problème.J'ai également essayé de désintaller et réinstaller et ça ne change rien. Je suis sur Windows 10 Professionnel version 21H1.Carte Graphique Nvidia  GeForce RTX 3060 TI.Processeur i7-10700K 3.80GHz 

My account is up to date and I am redownloaded Lightroom and it still says "could not copy settings" and won't let me edit at all. 

I have a beefy computer so I can't see why it was start slowing while I'm using the brush tool while masking. Hello everyone.   I have a folder in my lightroom CC (Cloud) from 2 years ago. 2 years ago I exported the photos as JPG to my dropbox, and they were all about 11, 12MB. Today I am exporting the exact same photos, and they are all around 3 to 4MB.   2 years ago vs today in my dropbox:   I have tried reproducing the same thing on my mac, web lightroom, iphone and ipad, and all the same results.   I'm using Lighroom CC 8.0.0, on my iPad with iPadOS 15.7. I also changed the export settings on Lightroom to always export 100%.     Here are some details of the original file:   Does anyone has any idea why is this happening and how to fix it?

Hi folks - I'm using CC Lightroom. I periodically rename a folder that has been imported into my catalog.  I do this as part of the way I organize my photos.  For example, I may start with a folder named "Lacrosse", import it into Lightroom, do some editing of photos, and then later when I add more pictures to the folder, rename it on my hard drive as "Lacrosse, Pineapples". Lightroom notices that the original folder "Lacrosse" is missing when I syncronize, and of course it finds the new folder "Lacrosse, Pineapples" and imports those images. But it considers the two folders to be different so far, which is to be expected. However, when I help it locate the missing "Lacrosse" folder by pointing it at the "Lacrosse, Pineapples" folder, it asks me if I want to merge and then invariably tells me it can't completely merge the two folders.  If it does successfully merge, I lose all develop settings from the original "Lacrosse" folder.  This is a bummer.&nb

Has anyone found a way to flag photos or arrange stacks within albums? I've built a project -- mostly for personal use -- that groups photos by visual similarity, and I'm experimenting with the use of a CNN to recommend the best photo of a given group. The idea is to save myself lots of time sortingt through photos shot on holiday so that I can keep only the best shots. The software works great; the rendition API gives me access to enough detail to drive my clustering algorithms. Problem is, I can't do anything with the results! There's no way for my app to reject the bad shots or stack photos representing the same shot. It's immensely frustrating to have invested so much time in the Lightroom API and in this project, only to be confronted by a dead end. Has anyone found a way around this limitation? Hello, I'm experiencing an issue whenever I work with my camera's RAW photos - after loading them into lightroom or lightroom classic and I begin to edit even just the slightest (literally a +1 or -1 increment of say adjusing highlights) the photo instantaneously changes entirely resembling what looks like a jpeg image; fully compressed in color, boldness of saturation, exposure seems off - its not longer the neutral tone I was so used to working with in the past. I have since tried a series of different photos I know I've worked with in the past - now each also loads as described upon any slight change. I'll undo any adjustments, click on another photo and return the previous photo only to find it looks like how a RAW photo appears, and when I begin to adjust any parameter (again in the most minute increment of +1/-1) it does the same thing - additionally making my image appear blown out (overexposed) and extremely grainy/noisy.  It looks as if i'm editing a compressed photot lik

My Lr app went missing. Not sure if I accidentally unisntalled it or it crashed. I tried to reinstall but all the files and folders are no longer there. How to retrieve the missing files. Bisher hat Lightroom Mobile meine Fotos auf dem iPhone in den Ordner "Lightroom" exportiert. Ich musste mein Telefon aufgrund einer Reparatur aus einem Backup wiederherstellen und seit dem exportiert Lightroom die Fotos nicht mehr in den Ordner "Lightroom" auf meinem iPhone. Ich habe nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht, in der ich diese Verhaltensweise von Lightroom mobile wieder einstellen kann, bin aber nicht fündig geworden. Was kann ich tun?

How do I install the following Lightroom Plugin on my iPhone?? 

I foolishly thought Lightroom would be a good replacement for Apple Photos and Migrated my library into it. Big mistake! 100k + images. Obviously filled my creative cloud space to max.I now know I should have used classic (weird naming there Adobe). I'm now seeing all the attempts to make the in-obvious obvious... but I digress.So after three days of migration, I'm doing what I can to put things back to right. Selected all a deleted, then went to the trash to permanently delete.Now I've been deleting for two or three days and still have 96,000 images in my trash (slowly going down).Why is deleting so hard?!Is there some way to speed this up?So bizarre. Feels like they have to upload them all to the cloud in order to delete them or some such nonsense. Just delete already!

Hello,I had a student license Creative cloud from my University. And yesterday I've received a letter that license is expired.Is there any chance to get my photos from Lighroom Cloud? I live in Russia and I can't pay to get new license. My University now can't give me new license.It was very unexpected to get a letter, that license is expired and I can't get access to my photos, not the day before.

Luego de actualizar a la última versión de Lightroom Mobile en mi S21+, no puedo modificar los ajustes de las fotos que tenía importadas anteriormente. Si añado fotos nuevas, puedo modificarlas sin ningún problema, pero inclusive borrando las fotos "antiguas" y volviéndolas a importar, me es imposible modificarlas. ¿Alguien ha tenido el mismo problema o conoce la solución a este error?
