I’ve investigated this for at least a couple of hours to no avail. Windows 11, Lightroom Creative Cloud version 9.2. All of a sudden the app simply won’t open. The little progress circle appears next to the cursor, and after a couple of seconds it disappears and Lightroom hasn’t loaded. I sits in Task Manager under Background Processes, with status “Suspended”. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled both Lightroom and Creative Cloud. I’ve updated graphics drivers and I’ve read that could be the issue. Nothing has resolved this yet. What is going on? I’m currently paying for software that refuses to open.
I have been able to move back and forth from 1 image to another by using the > and < keys, but this no longer seems to work. I have also used Fn + > without effect. Any suggestions?
In Lightroom Cloud, I had filled up my storage. I purchased “Creative Cloud Files Storage 1 TB”, and see in my app that the storage is there, but I can’t get the sync to re-start. Even worse, a number of images I’ve hard in my account for years are showing as pixelated and will not let me edit them.
i edited a pic in lightroom web on my laptop and when i downloaded it the pic was the same as the original. this had never happened before and idk what has happened please help.
I’m experiencing a sorting issue in Lightroom for iOS when filtering photos by camera type/model.My photos are normally displayed in the correct chronological order. However, when I apply a filter and select a specific camera type/model, the photos are no longer shown in the correct chronological sequence. The order becomes mixed up, even though the sorting setting has not been changed.Once I remove the camera type filter, the photos appear in the correct order again. This seems to be specifically related to sorting when a camera type/model filter is applied.
Outlines like this are around every area I click. I’m on my windows pc and I don’t remember this before.

My Mac’s hard drive is maxed out - so much so that I can’t do the latest OS update. I’ve already deleted old LR Classic libraries and am looking around to see what I can free up. I don’t use LR on the web or mobile/iPad - can I delete the 1gb’s worth of Mobile Downloads.lrdata without mucking anything else up? Any other suggestions how to free up LR or Adobe-related space? I’ve already deleted Photoshop as I rarely use it and can re-install it if I need it.Thanks in advance
Every time I try to select subject Lightroom either says it can't be found or does something very weird with the mask, screenshot included. The red lines across are what it has done to select that subject. I have never had this issue before so I assume it's a bug.
Ich finde kein Menü mehr, um das Wasserzeichen auszuwählen, zu poitionieren, oder die Transparenz einzustellen.
Ive been problem solving for an hour but cant figure it out. I've tried everything I could find on Google and the Adobe software help page. But cant figure it putz please help me.
Please change Lightroom so it JUST OPENS THE FILE if you previously worked with it in Lightroom. It is not helpful that if you try to open a previously worked file all that happens is a message: Previously Added. Fantastic! How about OPENING THE FILE?Instead the user has to go hunt for the image in the Lightroom Library. Lightroom of course knows where it is ,,, it found it and said: Previously Added instead of JIST OPENING THE FILE.The user has to determine the date. Now navigated into the Lightroom Library where there may be hundreds of images to sift through for a particular day.It is a five minute waste of User time to hunt for the image and then open it in from the Library. When all Lightroom has to do is OPEN THE FILE that it already located in the Library.I have this waste of time and efficiency over and over and over. I regularly need to re-crop photos for other needs, or adjust color, or simply opened it in Lightroom days, weeks, ago and decided not to use it then and now nee
App Version: Adobe Lightroom (Cloud-based, latest version)OS: Windows 11 ProSystem Specs: Intel Core i9-12900K, 64 GB RAM, Intel UHD Graphics 770 (Integrated GPU)Description of the Bug:There is a severe UI focus/refresh bug when switching between images in the Detail/Edit view. When moving to the next photo while a local adjustment tool (such as Masking, Remove, or Crop) is active, the entire tool panel and all keyboard shortcuts become completely unresponsive. The cursor appears stuck in a phantom "Zoom" tool state over the new image, even though it wasn't selected. The only way to unfreeze the UI and make the tools functional again is to perform a manual Zoom In and Zoom Out click on the image. This force-refreshes the screen and restores tool functionality.Steps to Reproduce:Open an image and select any local tool (e.g., Remove or Masking). Switch to the next image (either via filmstrip or keyboard shortcuts). Attempt to click any tool or use a shortcut (e.g., 'C' for crop). The UI i
I have been processing my pictures in Lr Classic, with good results. I wanted to take advantage of the generative expand feature, so I switched to the cloud-based Lr for one image I was dismayed to learn that I could not then open or export my expanded image in or to Lr Classic, but figured I would just process and print from Lr. I was further dismayed to learn that there was no print module in cloud Lr, but that I would have to export the image to my computer (a Macbook Pro M4) and print from there. However, the exported image is of appallingly poor quality for the A3-sized print I want to make. Playing around with the limited settings in the export module did not significantly improve the results. Am I missing something? Is there a way to export a sharp, high-quality, high pixel image from cloud Lr?
Lightroom for Android supports HDR editing in all HDR capable google pixels aside from the Pixel 10 series, even though the screen technology is the same as what was found in the previous 9 series which is supported. Could you add this feature to these newer devices?
I want to make several images of my girl while she is prept up sweat and sassy. Combining them into making a full on video based off of her pics.
The denoise button wont work. deleted almost all of my pictures off my laptop, and it still wont work
I'm having trouble opening NEF files from a Nikon Z8 on a Windows ARM machine in Lightroom. I've verified the same file opens just fine on a Windows Intel machine. Z8 with up-to-date firmware, taking photos with "raw only" Lightroom v7.4.1 (most up to date according to the creative cloud updater) by-hand insta;led Adobe Camera RAW (v16.4 from AdobeCameraRaw_arm64_16_4.exe) Downloaded and installed Nikon's RAW plugins, though I do not think those are ARM (and I can't tell if they are working). I see: In lightroom's review for import window a warning icon for each NEF file with a mouse-over message "this file does not contain a supported format (or it might be damaged). The icons in windows show up with the complete picture Opening the pictures in windows at first shows the proper image but then goes all technicolor lines on me. I see same error in Adobe's DNG converter and photoshop (both of which have ARM versions) I suspect the windows and LightRoom issues are
Adobe needs to include IPTC information in the file INFO in Lr CC. This is the industry standard for file information and a requirement of most photo agencies, so why isn't it in CC? Cloud storage is great but without IPTC it's not of much use to those submitting to an agency.
Hello! I have a subscription for the "Lightroom 1TB" for almost one year and I mostly use Lightroom Mobile (Android) and web cloud based version. However in the last few days my Android Lightroom app has most of the tools blocked ("greyed", or actually it appears with a blue icon with a star inside), as if I were using a free version. I can use all the tools normally in web cloud version, but the Android app just won't allow me to use the tools, even though I'm logged in the same Adobe account. My current app version is v10.5.4. Already tried deleting cache and reinstalling the app, but didn't work. Thanks in advance for your help.
Hello,I am facing a critical issue with my Adobe cloud storage and Lightroom (Cloud-based desktop version). My cloud storage is currently showing 21.0 GB used out of 20 GB, which has completely frozen my account and synchronization.Because of this over-quota status, I am experiencing a massive "phantom storage" UI bug on adobe.com and within the Creative Cloud desktop app. Every time I open folders like "Cloud Documents" (Projekty), "Synced Files" (Twoje pliki), or "Deleted" (Usunięte), the list of files flashes on the screen for a split second and then immediately disappears, displaying a "Folder is empty" message.Because the interface keeps hiding the files, I am completely unable to select them and click "Permanently Delete" to free up my space. Here is what I have already tried (none of it worked):Lightroom Desktop App: Cleared cache and permanently deleted 1,084 sync errors via Lightroom Web. The "Deleted" folder in Lightroom shows 0 images, but the cloud usage remains at 21.0 GB.
I pay for a subscription mainly to access community presets in the recommended tab. You changed this section to no longer include the sub categories (dark, warm, cinematic, etc). No idea why you’d remove that. Without it I won’t have a need for a paid subscription any longer
Hello,The sensor on my Nikon Z5II has a few burnt pixels caused by a DJ laser. They are dead—showing up as red dots—and appear in every photo. Replacing the sensor would be the only real solution, but given the cost, I tried using a Lightroom preset instead. The problem is that the defect doesn't appear in exactly the same spot depending on the focal length and lens used, so the preset isn't effective. I started creating presets for my prime lenses and that works well, but it’s not feasible for zoom lenses.Lightroom has a dust removal tool; it’s a shame there isn't a similar feature for dead pixels. Does anyone know of a batch processing technique to remove this defect?
Ai denoise is desperately needed on lightroom mobile. I run my business mainly from my phone and do basically all of my editing here. I’m constantly shooting in light light especially for events like many other photographers and this would make life so much easier
Why not working blur mode in my lightroom
