Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

who are you asking?  stock contributors?  lightroom users?  some other group?

In the last couple of weeks Lr desktop 8.2 (not classic) is getting more diffcult to open with my windows machine without have to restart/shutdown mutilple times.  Each day it gets worse.  I cannot find any help online becasue all the references refer to classic.  Any help would be apprecated.  thank you

I cant figure out why my pictures are importing very blurry and pixelated

Lightroom is suddenly freezing and not responding. I don't know if this is because of a bug from the new update today, but it wasn't acting like this two days ago. I unloaded a couple hundred photos, closed other apps that might be using too much memory or GPU, and I troubleshooted my RAM to find any issues. Nothing was wrong, but Lightroom keeps freezing. I keep having to force close the app through Task Manager. Any help?

Any good AI tools for Lightroom to automate softening wrinkles in textile photography? Looking for suggestions. I do product shots, mostly garments, and want to minimize the post editing time I take softening wrinkles on the clothes. I use the tools Lightroom offers quite well but are looking to see if I can automate some of this work since I work with batches of dozens of photos at a time.Thank you

Hello,I'm working on relearning some of my Lightroom skills after a long hiatus and am using a Mac.  On a recent photo shoot, I realized I had RAW(Canon CR2) and JPG capture set.  Fortunately, I didn't just have JPG set!!  Obviously I'd prefer to just import the RAW files to work on and store in the cloud. When I click to "add photos", from my SD card, it shows all the photos (both RAW and JPG), but I can't see an obvious way to filter the window so I only import the RAW photos.  There are over 1,000 photos on the card, so individual selction will take a long time.   Does anyone know how I can set it up to only import the RAW files and skip the JPG files?  If there isn't a way, is there an easy way to do this, post-import? Thanks so much for your help!

My workflow relies on importing RAW files into Lightroom mobile on my iPad Pro. The images are fully synched and backed up in Adobe Creative Cloud and are fully accessible from my desktop Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic on my iMac. Have I created a problem by importing RAW files directly into Lightroom on my iPad?As the images are backed up in Adobe Cloud, shouldn't Lightroom mobile automatically delete the original RAW images?How can I free up my iPad memory? Is the only option to delete the app and reinstall it and will this affect the Abobe Cloud images? thanks, Hadrian

  Can't install Lightroom     

Hi! When I export back from Lightroom, color saturation increases / color changes, which in my case makes the image useless. I am using Lightroom version 8.2, Macbook Pro Sequoia 15.3.2. I have done thousands of images & this is first time it's happening today. I haven't change any settings. Really need help on this. Thank you. 

I'm not even sure how I can describe it, but after activating HDR on my display and on the image sometimes the preview of SDR images becomes like this.After scrolling a couple of images and activating/deactivating HDR on those this bug was fixed, but it's still very annoying.Using Lightroom 8.2 from adobe cc

I have been having issues with Lightroom Desktop. Initially, I thought it was an issue with my PC's CPU (previously over 10 years old), but after making significant hardware upgrades, I am still having this issue, and the desktop version is unusable, outside of importing photos for me to edit on my tablet.    While opening any photo in the detail view, clicking on anything causes the screen to flash and the program to go unresponsive for several minutes. I'm not able to change any sliders, access presets, or change photos without this occurring. While in grid view, if I go to copy settings or change galleries, it will also freeze, but it seems to be alright when navigating the UI, creating or organizing galleries/folders, importing photos or exporting to SmugMug.    Given the significant upgrades to my PC, I would think the program should run even better than it does on my tablet, and I would love to have that functionality back.    Below are my LR and sys

Hi, help me how to open the Lightroom catalog?

I'm having problems copying presets to multiple images. I am only able to copy and paste to a single image. When I select multiple images, paste doesn't show up at the bottom or the top.Select first image > Copy settings > click the check markUse the back arrow to return to the library.Select multiple images and there is no Paste. Not at the bottom and not under the three dots at the top.  But, selecting a single image, opens it and from there, Paste Settings is available. 

Unable to literally "export" batches of very small videos from Lightroom to a folder inside "Documents" on my Macbook Pro. Issue has been occuring for a few months. 

Recently restored deleted photos from deleted folder in LR, but they repopulated by date instead of to the original folders. Many photos were put in random folders. Anyone know how to get them back to the original folders?

I had some very worrying issues today with Lightroom CC (I don't use Classic). - First, some photos of mine started to show with horizontal or vertical "glitchy stripes", all messed up. These are older photos that I successfully imported, edited and exported month ago without any issue. I found copies of the RAW files for the affected album in my local Lightroom backup. I was able to export the settings, delete the bad photos, and reimport the RAW files with the correct settings. Phew! - Then, I got a sync error saying "Some Items Invalid". 145 other photos are missing from my library. I DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH THEM. They are several years old! Some are wedding pictures, which I never delete. Ro make things worse, the files, AND OTHERS which are not marked as "syncing issues", seem to be missing from even my Local Lightroom backup (MacOS)! WTF?   Does that mean we can't trust either the Adobe Cloud, nor the Lightroom backup feature? I am appalled that a paid service could be that u

An meinem MacBook Pro M3 Max habe ich einen hochwetigen LG Monitor mit voller HDR-Unterstützung. In den Systemeinstellungen ist HDR eingeschaltet. Lightroom sagt aber, dass HDR nicht eingeschaltet sein. Starte ich Lightroom Classic ist HDR im gleichen System vollständig verfügbar. Wo ist das Problem, wieso ist Lightroom hier fehlerhaft?

I've been using Lightroom for over a decade and it's been a pretty stable and valuable tool. But I wish that some things worked as well as they do in Photoshop. I don't actually understand why they don't. When I use the new AI remove in Lightroom, it does a brilliant job in removing the distractions. HOWEVER. Looking at the image, there is a visible "patch" that is noticably darker than it's surroundings, making it obvious that the image has been altered. This makes the tool completely useless to me and I now have to go and edit every image in Photoshop. It doesn't matter if I do the remove before or after other edits, it just doesn't blend the results into the overall image. Hello,  I'm having a serious trouble with the watermark in Lightroom Cloud:I have uploaded a watermark that is big enough (1313x750 size) in high resolution and when I just put it on the picture it looks okay but as soon as I push ok it already loose quality and also when I export it the watermark is not neat anymore but it becomes pixelised and thiner!Why? How can I solve this matter please? The strange thing is that in some pictures it looks okay and in some others (the majority) not! And it is the same watermark... Could it be a technical issue? I attach a picture for reference where you can see that my watermark is not neat but it is pixelised. I need help!Thanks in advanceEmanuela
