If you enter sizes manual, canvas size is resized wrong....ThanksP.S. In Photoshop Beta 27.3 no such a bug/problem
Please let the default Save-As/Export location be the folder of the document we are currently saving/exporting. Let's say I open an existing photoshop file from a folder called "House," and I want to save it as a new version. I go to "save-as" and expect the default save location to be "House," as is the case with most software. However, instead, the default folder photoshop opens is whatever folder I had saved the last file I saved-as. The last random file I happened to save-as, in most cases, is COMPLETELY unrelated to the file I am currently trying to save. This is not a logical or helpful default file path. It would only be helpful if I had a folder full of all my saved-as files (regardless of subject matter/project) and a folder with all my original versions, (regardless of subject/project). Because most applications save-as to the location of the original copy by default, in Photoshop, I frequently hit save without realizing it
Photshop 2026 is INCREDIBLY SLOW! I'm at a loss with the update to 27.0.0. Both my work Adobe CC PS account and personal PS account are running Photoshop like it's 1990 (yes, I was a user the year when it came out). Buggy, slow, rainbow, waiting forever for simple tasks. Have rebooted so many times, but nothing works. I've increased the allotted RAM and tried to optimize both computers for this new version, but it continues to negatively affect my workflow. Both iMacs are newish, running Tahoe and loaded. This should not be happening. Anyone else?
i needed those pointy strokes for the number but ps does not have that kind of thing. so the workaround is to convert it into shape then add the stroke, but the problem is you cannot eddit anymore the number after that, I am making araound 10-20 members in a team with different numbers, its a hassle to make every single number into a shape, I needed it with a push of a button, you can have your text with a sharp stroke or pointy edges and not rounded. illustrator has that, i hope ps will also do it for making oour lives easier. thanks!
If a generative layers is deleted (for reasons like, it's a fail to do what was asked) credits should not be charged. We are not paying to fine tuning your AIs, in a normal world it's the opposite, if you want fine tunning you pay for it.
Hello,I am an artist and I want to print my paintings on Fine Art paper (here, Canson Etching Rag). However, I am having trouble using the ICC profile for this paper in Photoshop 2026 on Windows 11 Pro. (my printer: Canon PIXMA Pro-200).I downloaded and installed the official ICC profile for the paper. I have copied the ICC file to C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color and restarted Photoshop. It works on Canon software, but it does not appear in Photoshop — neither in “Assign Profile,” “Convert to Profile,” nor in the proof setup.I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop, but the profile still does not appear.I want to be able to soft proof and adjust my files in Photoshop before printing on Fine Art paper. Is there a solution or workaround to make Photoshop recognize this ICC profile on Windows 11?Thank you very much for your help.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.I'm on Safari 26.3, and I'm using macOS 26.3.1. Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/downloadable-plugins-and-content.html.2. Scroll until you see "Textures for Texturizer Filter".3. Click on the "Get file" button. You're supposed to see a file named "Textures.zip" pop up. But instead, it downloads a file called "Textures.html", that seems like its supposed to be a 404 page.
The previous version of Photoshop compromised history brush usabilty and the current version (27.2.0) renders them useless.
Hello — I have a large set of unedited .jpg images and a matching .xmp sidecar for each image (each image has a unique corresponding XMP). If I manually import a JPG together with its .xmp into Lightroom or Camera Raw, the .xmp produces the expected color/develop adjustments. However, the dataset is too large to process manually. I’m looking for reliable ways to apply these .xmp develop settings to all images in batch, ideally in an unattended or command-line workflow.Any suggestions on this?
Just updated to Photoshop 27.1.0 because I wanted to see the "modern GUI panels" as stated in the release notes. First thing I noticed was (besides the GUI drag-icon inconsistentcy between panels like, vibrance and levels), that "0" is not selectable when using the vibrance panel. When you slide from left to right - and vice versa - zero is not an option; it's skipped. Other panels, like levels, do support 0 as a valid value (as does the keyboard), but when using the mouse to quickly slide to a + or - integer, 0 is simply skipped. I checked in Photoshop 26.x.x and there "0" was an option in the exact same panel. See screenrecording, where I try to set the value to 0 by mouse. It's only possible by keyboard (arrow up and down).
Screen keeps flashing to black during editing. This started with the last serveral updates to Photoshop both reg and beta. I am using the same Nivida 4080 GPU for two years and I keep the driver up-to-date. It does not matter if I use the Studio Driver or the Game Ready Driver. There have been no other changes to hardware or software.
Photoshop version: 27.2 I made a cover for a vinyl album in photoshop. On the back side there is a list of the tunes that is made with a numbered list in photoshop looking like this Everything looks fine and I finally saved it to PDF that the printing shop wanted. We got the album and it looks like this I made the mistake of not verifying the PDF compared to the PSD. The conversion seem to remove the last line and the numbered bullets. It's reproducable with the PSD I have. I have tried different PDF setting, but the numbers always seem to be removed somehow.
Photoshop Version 27.1 Windows 11 Version 25H2 Drivers: NVIDIA GeForce MX250 Version 577.03 Intel Iris Plus Graphics Super Display Virtual Adapter Photoshop boots up fine and the menus work great. When I try to open ANY type of file, an error window pops up and says "Adobe Photoshop encountered a problem and needs to close." That's all it says. I have tried: -Restarting my computer -Updating Photoshop -Updating Computer -Checking computer storage space (there is PLENTY) -Uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop -Tried to hold Cntrl+Alt+Shift while booting up photoshop (which was reccommended and supposed to bring up dialog box to reset all photoshop preferences) Nothing popped up. When I try going through menus Edit--Preferences--General... I don't see any options to reset preferences. -I know I've updated my graphics processors/drivers before but it's giving me grief this time. HELP!!
Why does PS keep occupying memory without releasing it? How can I solve this problem? I opened 30 files and the memory usage reached 28GB. After I finished processing all these files and closed them, the memory usage remained at 28GB. When I opened new files, the memory usage continued to increase from 28GB until the computer froze and crashed. Only when I completely closed PS did the memory get released.
I’m planning to disable Windows Ink in Photoshop using the well-known PSUserConfig setting. This won’t break with future updates, right? Is anyone actively using this method?
I've had a really big headache after installing a new GPU in the past weeks, because I found out most of the shortcut I was using were eaten from soemthing else before photoshop. I was not able to find this on any bug report, or any forum post on the adobe community so I am sharing it.If you have an AMD GPU / CPU, and use adrenaline, and are facing similar issue, I suggest you open Adrenaline and change the default shortcut of said software for recording and other features. IMPORTANT: if you are using windows, the shorcut get eaten even if the software is closed in your little taskbar on the right. This software is running in background the wholetime even if there are no icons showing it. A single process is sufficient and the shortcut get eaten anyway. Beware. Specifically for Photoshop, when selecting multiple anchor points to delete, there must be a button on the 'Delete anchor point tool' options under Pen Tool to delete those selected points, or at least allow deleting them via the 'Delete' keyboard button without breaking the shape. So far, the only direct solution is to click 'Delete anchor point tool' and keep on deleting those anchor points one by one (but it sucks to do so on a very fragile and complicated shape with a ton of anchor points). This can be done in Illustrator; however, it's necessary to be done directly in Photoshop too, without the need to back-and-forth from there.
I have a project that I have worked on in photoshop (web/online) and I am unable to save the project, download the file, or "export as..." to save it a different way. I am worried about closing the browser because the project is not saved anywhere. Each time I try to save or download, the saving progress bar gets stuck at 67% (it gets there very quickly and then nothing else ever happens). Please help!Kylie
When trying to do anything in Photoshop Web, I get the following error - EVERY time.
I could very well be mistaken (and if I am someone please let me know), but I'm reasonably sure that these Transform Controls/abilities are only available when transforming (Cmd T/Ctrl T). It would be helpful to also have them in the Properties Panel when shapes are "Live" (see attached pic). It would speed-up workflow.
I always run Adobe software as Admin in Winodws because of the heavy reliance on the Registry. When you start any app that way, the UAC prompt pops up to confirm you are you, then the app starts. In Photoshop 2026, this is the UAC prompt: How do we get this info to the development team to fix? It doesn't break anything, just feels unfinished, and makes you wonder what else was overlooked. This is three versions old and still in the app.
I was once able to open RAW files on my laptop. No longer can. I'm on a MacBook Air Chip Apple M2 MacOS Sequoia 15.1.1 Please help! I travel and work with this laptop and my work depends on RAW files. Kind thanks, Hélène
