Photoshop

As the title states. The default behavior is annoying to me and other users. The Enter key is used to confirm crop and transforms as well as other things. But it is also used to toggle selection of the fields in the Control Panel. This means if you hit Enter one too many times while confirming a transformation, you wind up with your keyboard focus inside the Control Panel where it is utterly useless for doing anything else. This is just too many functions tied to one key. This is a professional application, not an iPod. There's 86 keys on a standard keyboard. There's no need at all for the Enter key to be doing so many things. However I understand people may like the current behavior and have gotten used to it. Therefore the Enter key should be an assignable key, and toggling focus between the Control Panel and the work area should be an assignable action. This would probably represent the best QOL change Adobe could do for Photoshop.

Please add option to add images into open documents without any further processing.I'm a graphic artist and do not care about DPI, real size of picture and other stuff. I just want to place images into document with full resolution without any further automatic processing.Sometimes i need to place 20 images at once into one document, so opening them in new document and copy pasting them to my main document is tedious. Thank you for adding this feature in advance.

Please make a program of feature like Acrobat Distiller to optimize PSB files.I find I have massive PSB files with 7 level smart objects, linked to high res layered keyart, deep down the rabbit hole of smart objects, which I don't need anymore.You should be able to drag the PSB file into an analyser, that shows you a breakdown of whats in your PSB file and pick and choose what you wanna keep, rasterize, or delete from an easy drop down menu.There should be an option to optimizse the entire PSB file for Web or Print and options to maintain vectors or not. This will save thousands of GBs of useless data. 

Unable to disable Cloud Sync. I don't want to store my images at the Adobe Cloud. I have an private NAS. You miss a fully integration of Apples file manager. App is useless for me if it force me to use a cloud.

Hello, I am looking for API to read list of Character Styles and Paragraph Styles, in a Photoshop document. I am able to create Character Styles and Paragraph Styles using action manager code. While creating the styles I would like to check whether the character styles/paragraph styles with same name exists. I have read through all the topics related to this in the forums. The feature exists in Indesign and Illustrator but not in Photoshop I would like to request Adobe to add this feature to their next release. Thank you,Swapna

Photopea a free online Photoshop Clone supports iPhone Depth maps from Portrait mode photos, and can be used to extract the depth map and use it as an Alpha channel. Can this feature be added to Photoshop?

I have hundreds of layer styles in my Presets>Styles folder with many sub-folders by type (wood, metal, etc.). I have looked many times for an app or something to be able to read the .asl files and create thumbnails of the indvidual styles within each .asl file but couldn't find anything. It is not practical to load them all due to the large number so I have to guess and load several to try and find a style I like for a given project. An app that could make a PDF catalog or something like it that would show the actual styles like the Styles window for the enitre Styles folder would be awesome.    

The title says it all. Fresco's eye dropper tool can optionally pick up multiple colors simultaneously (not unlike a certain Mixer Brush setting in Photoshop), allowing you to draw with multiple colors at once. This is awesome because it lets you use multiple colors in a single stroke for other tools, like Brushes. You should also be able to change the hue, saturation, and value of the stamped colors (Like in Adobe Fresco, as seen in the video below). There's no reason that Photoshop shouldn't have this feature too. The following Adobe youtube video starts with the line "Multicolor selection is a powerful new feature in Adobe Fresco that will open up a world of possibilities for artists..." I can't help but wonder why those possibilities haven't yet made it to Photoshop artists-- especially considering this video came out in May of 2020 and it's nearly 2022 now. can we please get an automatically measure distances and place dimensions tool for photoshop. does not need to be a full blown CAD like tool with all the technical details.just a basic tool for simple dimensioning.   photoshop already has tools to measure.it can paint arrows and lines so it should be no problem to code such a tool.  

Add an option for each file to remove from the recent tab (recent tab in home screen).

A keystroke/shortcut for the protect tones check box in the dodge tool would be very helpful! I'm constantly clicking it on and off! 

Being many user need to upgrade their machines to run newer OS and Photoshop versions.   The desktop applications would be better if it supported these Adobe users by being able to install Photoshop 2020 version 21 of Photoshop. 

It would be great to reduce allowed the swatches window height. This will free up space for other windows, without having to keep them in hidden tabs and make unnecessary clicks while working.

The imposed default setting for "mask on" in adjustment is a workflow inefficiency if the brush is frequently used for simple "dodge and burn". (It then has to be turned off every time the brush is used in order to see the immediate effect). Suggest we get the choice of default status!

It's been years since people have requested this feature. It is so inconvenient working between two personal PCs and one for work to have to sign in and out all the time. Please give us three computers, for the love of God.

The lens blur filter is quite nice, especially when using a depth map.But why is the radius limited? I would like to be able to create very large rings to create more expressive imagery. Also it would be nice to adjust the appearance of the iris. Some dust, outlines, like a real lens.Any ideas?

Being able to set a shortcut for toggling the Size for pressure and opacity for pressure brush menu bar toggles would be fantastic.

How about a "Close all except this" feature?

It would be awesome to be able to resize an image, change the dpi on my iPad Pro.. i make frequent submissions to magazines and having to log onto my desktop/laptop just to adjust the size and dpi is a little annoying.

Refine edge tool needs to be on photoshop for ipad

Before anything else, Rotation of canvas in Photoshop for the IPad needs to be in your NEXT update.  I started using Photoshop once you installed a rotation of canvas tool.  Before that it was just a computer software tool.  Before any other tool is installed PLEASE install Canvas Rotation!!!!

I was hoping that we could get a build of photoshop for Windows on ARM devices (ARM64). The Surface Pro X is a great little device for graphics artists, but 32 bit emulation is unstable and can crash unexpectedly as well as the issue of it requiring more battery power to run. The Pro X is not the only Windows on ARM device available (though it's by far the fastest) and the industry is expected to grow.   The device has a rather powerful GPU, responsive CPU, and highly functional speed and size RAM. It's more than capable of running photoshop even in 32 bit emulation mode and development towards it would be worth the effort.   While we can use the 32 bit photoshop executable, and ARM64 one would make a world of difference. Given the target consumer of the Surface products, I think this would be a well-enjoyed feature. While I certainly don't think it'd bring in millions of dollars of income, I do firmly believe it will at least pay for itself and make quite a few customers hap

When you've got your brush mode set to clear it erases using the same brush, which is great.  Having a toggle shortcut is really helpful, without the shortcut it's not a feature worth using in a quick digital painting workflow, like illustration etc. Unfortunately the ~ key is awkward to get to for left handers if your right hand is used to the other side of the keyboard.  It would be really great to be able to remap that shortcut! I was on chat support with Adobe for about 2-3 hours before the third rep told me it couldn't be done :\.  If anyone has a workaround for this please let me know.  Thanks!

In the "Export As" menu, it would be a great time saver to be able to save/load preset Scale All sizes. I process a lot of images to 3 different sizes, and I have to enter the three sizes every time I export another image. If I could just save my preset sizes to a dropdown menu that would save me a lot of time.
