Photoshop

Having passed on or omitted some previous software updates, will the newst update contain vs replace all older ones?

I need to rollback to the earlier version of Photoshop having installed 27.10 which is causing my screen to flicker. I have searched the web and this community and can see lots of videos saying I look for the 3 dots and then open older versions but I don’t see the 3 dots on my Creative Cloud or rather I see the 3 dots but all that takes me to is getting the Mobile App? Help please.  

I often find it difficult to keep project files, assets, images, and different versions organized, especially when working on multiple projects at the same time.What folder structure or workflow do you use to keep your Adobe files organized and easy to find?

The title says it all. The latest Photoshop update, 27.10, has a visual bug when adding a second image to the layers.Now I only have the "Enter" key or the "OK" button at the bottom of the screen to do the same thing. It's a bit inconvenient because I like using the button at the top. Incidentally, the distortion modification button is no longer visible either. And when I use the eraser tool, the confirmation buttons disappear as well. It's impossible to confirm in that area.I think this is a code issue related to the responsive effect after adding the two new buttons "AI Assisted" and "Pro Editor", which shifts everything to the right and thus hides the validation or cancel buttons in image editing mode via certain tools.

Photoshop. It used to work like this:I’d type some text (copyright) in the bottom-left corner of the image. Using the cursor, I could then drag it into another open Photoshop project, and it would be placed in the exact same spot—without having to hold down Shift, Ctrl, etc.Now it’s different: When I release the text in the other project, it gets dropped where the cursor is.Why? Why has Adobe been continuously working for the past 4–6 years to make Photoshop WORSE?EDIT: I tried figuring it out for 10mins now. it did not work!Also when moving entire layers that fill the entire canvas - PS messes is up!PS gets less and less reliable for professional jobs :(

Current computer is ~1 year old. No issues until 2 weeks ago. I will open several images, change the size of the one selected, save it, then close that file to go to the next one.Now, when I close the file, the screen blinks off and on twice before opening the next file.I have reset all tools. Running latest version of everything. Intel graphics card.PS works okay but the blinking is an aggravation.

When I click on “Open in Photoshop 2026...”, Photoshop opens, but doesn’t open the Lightroom edited image. I confirmed “Full Disk Access” permissions in System Settings.I uninstalled both programs and reinstalled. I reverted back to Photoshop 27.9.1 and the issue went away. 

OS: Windows 11 Versions: All version of PS after 2022 (as far as I cant tell).   While the drawing/painting with the Brushes panel open, it will sometimes flicker to a white image. The brushes disappear, and this image is seen:   Reproduction: Make strokes with various brushes. (I'm using a Wacom tablet.) This seems to occur most when switching to a new brush. However it is somewhat random. You may have to try mulitple brushes for 2-3 minutes before it appears.  Sometimes it happens right away, while sometimes it is less frequent. 

I went to the Adobe Exchange looking for a color wheel. I previously purchased Coolorus and installed it. I see it in the Scripts folder of Photoshop, but I can’t find it when I launch Photoshop 2026. I thought maybe it was not compatible. So, I went to the Adobe Exchange and purchased “MagicPicker”. I installed that. I see it in the scripts folder. Again, when I launch Photoshop 2026, I can’t find it!!!I open the Plugins Panel and it’s NOT there! I clicked on the Windows menu and it’s not there either. I searched for help online and all the videos, articles, etc. Say to copy it to the Plugins Folder of Photoshop. Did that and relaunched Photoshop 2026 and I still cannot find it! Where is it?! How do I access my plugins I purchased?! This is extremely frustrating. Why does Adobe make this so hard?!

Greetings! I updated to PS 2022 this morning and inadvertently had the install process delete older versions of Photoshop. I have one particular plugin/extension that will only work with PS 2020 and I was just using that plugin yesterday - now I'm screwed. Is there a way to download PS 2020? I can't find one.  😞 Thank you, TIm

Is PS now scanning every image for Ai learning that is opened into the latest version? The loading time for an image has more than doubled in the latest update. My image sizes haven’t changed. 

When sampling an area with the clone stamp tool, upon clicking where you want to paint with the cursor, it automatically creates a paint line between sample and cursor. Sometimes the link isn’t even logical it’s just crazy and random and all over the place. Reset app, updated photoshop, reset clone stamp tool, reset preferences. I got a “scratch disk full” message once when opening so I deleted a bunch of stuff and it still has the issue.  

Estou querendo automatizar um processo de veículos seminovos para anúncios em site.O processo funciona da seguinte forma: a equipe criativa recebas fotos, recorta o carro, coloca no fundo padrão (esse fundo é azul, contém o logo e o pin de localização) e depois salva de uma vez todas as pranchetas.Tentei fazer por ação, mas não funcionou, quero o processo todo automatizado. Pelas ações, consegui automatizar o recorte, porém ele não funciona para ter a sombra junto  e nem para colocar no fundo padrão.A ideia é automatizar tudo para carregar em lote. 

Photoshop 27.10.0 on MacOS - there is no Brightness/Contrast layer available. Bug or feature? 

Hi all,I have been using Photoshop and Camera Raw for fairly basic photo editing on a MacBook Air for a number of years. Sharpening image and Denoise function are two frequently used features. In the past couple of months, the denoise has stopped working. I have tried updating the operating system, Photoshop and Camera Raw, but no luck.In settings of Photoshop, my GPU (M1) appears to be compatible and although old, my Mac seems to meet the basic requirements for Photoshop. From version 27.8 I try to add like 50 images for edit, small ones like 2048 on long side, with more i add the PS crashes runs very slow etc. Upgraded to 27.9.1 little bit better like 3% but with every image edited i get close to like 10 images left the program runs terrific slow. With 27-10 program just crashes. Had to downgrade to version 27 so that it will decent work. Why do you keep ruining the program? Make it better not worse!!! I did report this type of problem in the past with a lot of images added into the program, you ruined made a fix and now you ruined againWindows 11to reproduce just add more than 50 images, 100 

This behavior is EXTREMELY annoying and is one of the reasons I use Affinity Photo application instead of Photoshop.  There is absolutely NOT reason to keep a file lock on a file that I have closed from Photoshop.  When I close a file, the file lock should be released, not doing so if violating Microsoft best practices. Don't even start to suggest this is for "better performance" due to poor coding ethics/techniques. The ONLY way to release the lock on the file is to exit Photoshop complete and wait about 2-5 minutes for it to release the lock.  This IS NOT acceptable and violates just about every coding best pratices that exists over the past 40 years (I'm a senior software engineer, so I do know coding best practices).
