Photoshop

Photoshop 26.5.0 release, mac os Sequoia 15.4 Since there is no way to create shortcuts for copy/paste shape attributes i created two actions with shortcuts to do that task and it worked perfectly until the latest update. Now both those action doesn't work showing «The command "shape clipboard operation" is not currently available». I tried to record those actions again but now copying shape attributes doesn't create an action entry. Even worse — now i can copy shape attributes but can't paste it, there is no such option anymore.

Hi all, in Ps 26.7.0 I am unable to get generative fill to work. It stopped about a week ago, yielding the orange error message. I'm in Windows 11, build 26100.3775 I open a file - tiff or RAW makes no difference, and - as I have done repeatedly and with success in the past - used a selection brush to select some powerlines in the background of my image, click on the "Generative Fill" box, then tap the "Generate" button. The progress bar sometimes approaches 100%, but never quite gets there. I have tried preferences resetting, uninstalling Ps, and (obviously) different file types. The end result is always the same. I've searched the forum for other posts, but found nothing helpful. I am not a professional, and am far from being thoroughly experienced in Ps, but I can get by. If omeone was to post a link to try, I am competent enough to follow what's there. Given the lack of other posts of a similar nature over the past week, I'd guess that the issue is more or

My photoshop is getting stuck whenever I try to use the camera raw filter; nothing opens up after I click on it, and I can't even close my photoshop. everything gets stuck and a sound like a notification comes up, but still, nothing shows up

Recently, I notice that my generative credit go down to 100 which I believe that it is not the agreement when my purchase the photoshop cloud application, it should be 500 for my profile. Hi everyone,I recently purchased the additional 2000 generative credits because I had already used up the 250 credits included in my Photography Plan. However, I noticed that after performing only about 20 small edits in Photoshop (like removing a person, expanding a canvas, or cleaning up objects), over 500 credits were deducted in less than 30 minutes.Later, I kept using Generative Fill, but credits were no longer being deducted—even though I continued editing.This left me confused:How many credits are used per action?Is there a way to check a detailed breakdown or usage history of credits?Could it be a bug or normal behavior?I would appreciate if someone from Adobe or another user could clarify this. Hi all, I've seen this quite a few times in here but not sure how to resolve the issue. I just purchased a new computer two days ago and ACR keeps crashing with an error message that my GPU needs accelaration.  Compueter specs seem to align with PS's receommended specs:  Ultra 7, 32G Memory, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060, 1TB SSD.  I've read to update the driver to the current studio driver, and did that, but no change. I also read to force PS to use the GPU, did that with no change.  Unsure what to do. I can't afford much more, but I also can't run ACR/PS which defeats the purpose of a new computer.  

I have the Adobe Stock photography plan, and I see that generative fill has stopped working. Does anyone know why? Initially, it didn't take credits, and without credits, it ran slower.

I am writing to report a recurring issue I’ve been facing while working with large files in Adobe Photoshop.Whenever I edit a large PSD file, my computer often hangs or freezes, forcing me to perform a hard shutdown. Upon restarting the PC and attempting to open the same file, Photoshop shows the file as corrupted and I lose all my progress. This has happened multiple times and has significantly impacted my workflow.I would appreciate it if you could guide me on the following:Why does this happen, and how can I prevent file corruption after a system crash?Are there any recommended best practices or settings for working with large files to avoid such issues?Is there any way to recover the corrupted PSD files?

Its a rip off!! Im here writing my complete disaproval for this decision of rip us clients to bye credits to use a simple tool which was already integrated in Photoshop! I have to double my monthly cost just to buy 1000 or 2000 credits to use this?! This makes the creative business even more of a struggle, especially here in Portugal! This is ripping us off. 

Went from 2019 MBPro 15-inch Sonoma to 2023 M2 Sequoia, 16-inch, 32RAM, 1TB storage. Tried to reinstall PS. 18 years of actions and other settings did not move. Intructions I find in myriad places do not work; instructions do not match what I see in PS. Someone has the answer. I cannot be the only one with this stupid problem. How does Adobe not have clear, understandablde, easily navigatible instructions on how to do what should be a straightforward process, VERY common thing. I'm running the latest non-beta versions of Creative Cloud, Photosop and Bridge. I'm running on a fairly powerful Mac Mini and when the apps work, I have no need for more speed.     But Bridge and Photoshop, especially Bridge keep lockng up.  Sometimes locking up my whole computer.   I've been using PS and everything for a long time and I think a clean start might help.  However I'd like to keep by keyboard shortcuts in in PS and my layout in Bridge.   Is there a way I can uninstall and reinstall everything?

Sto utilizzando Photoshop nella versione 25.12.3. Ho necessità di importare delle forme ma quando vado nell'apposito menù la funzione "Importa forme" non è attiva. Allo stesso modo non sono attive le funzioni: Aggiungi forme predefinite, forme Esporta selezionate, Rinomina forma, Elimina forma. Come poter risolvere questo problema? I've followed all advice found, but nothing. 100% up to date SW, XMP files appearing OK but an ACR changes are lost. Win 11 on a relatively new laptop. I've tried raw files from other cameras to no avail. I've been using PS for 20+ years and am very frustrated - any ideas please? 

We have an enterprise Adobe license and were today surprised to find we cannot use Pantone spot colors as we have in the past. We have purchased an annual subscription to Pantone Connect and installed the Pantone Connect plugin in Adobe Creative Cloud, but is not working in Photoshop. The duotones that use Pantone spot colors are still rendering as black and black. All our Adobe apps seem to be up to date. Can you help us understand what might be wrong?Windows 10PS version 23.5

About a hundred times a day I have to stop to wonder why my keyboard shortcut isn't doing anything, then glance up at the Properties panel and see the red Channel Mixer field highlighted and awaiting input, then I have to hit escape or enter to get back to work. Then it happens again a few seconds later. This is brand new behavior in one of the last two updates, and it's a flow-killer. I'm generously assuming it's a bug, because if someone thought this was an improvement, that would be a terrible omen for future UI tweaks.

Please help.I'm so sick and tired of Photoshop refusing to autosave. I lost hours of work last week so I made sure I had autosaving turned ON in the current version of Photoshop I was using. It's set to autosave every 5 minutes, but I can't find any autosave files anywhere. There are no files in the auto-recovery folder. Why? Why does it have to be so hard to find an autosave file? Why is there not an "open autosave folder" "load autosave" or "recover" button in the dropdown menu? Have you never played a video game before? Play one and take note of how it handles autosaving. It shouldn't be a nightmarish quest to recover a saved file. This is where they are supposed to be, right? \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\AutoRecoverThis folder is empty. There is not a single file in there of any type. Why? Please help me solve this problem. When I open multiple images in Photoshop, I can't always bring the active image to the front. Watch the video. Photoshop version 26.7.0. Everything was fine in previous versions.      [subject, edited by moderator: was "Active layer to the front"]    

Working in Photoshop v. 26.7.0, in Windows 11, there seems to be an issue in attempting to open .tif files.  When attempting to open a tif file by simply using the Open menu option, PS opens the file in Camera Raw, or gives error message that file isn't a valid Photoshop file. The remedy found was to use the Open As... menu option, selecting TIFF file format from the pull-down menu at the right of the File name: box, then selecting the TIF file I want to open, and clicking on the Open button.   If I don't use this procedure, and PS does open the TIF file from the Open menu option, it opens in Camera Raw, the colors are all WAY OFF.  Photoshop never used to work this way, so something has changed to cause this to happen.  I looked inFile Handling in Preferences, but didn't find anything that changed the behavior. This is adding unnecessary extra steps to image handling.  So, I request that Adobe investigate and create a bug fix, please.
