Photoshop

Hi all, wondering if you can help me.What I have done is created an image 14000x14000 pixels, but when I try to import an image that is 2100x2100 pixels, it stretches the image to fot the whole the canvas.This is not what I want to happen at all, I really want the image to remain at the correst size when I drag and drop an image in, so I don't have to keep resizing the thing.  As this is just addding so much time on to what I am traying to do.So, is there an option I can click or change that will stop the images being resized ever time a drag and drop an image in?

I am currently experiencing an issue with the Neural Filters in Adobe Photoshop. A few days ago, I noticed that whenever I attempt to access the Neural Filters panel, it appears blank, with no filters displayed. I am unsure of the cause, as all other features within the application are functioning normally.I would appreciate any assistance or guidance regarding this matter.Thank you. 

Is there a script to determine which PS or InDesign on the taskbar is the current window (active state)?I need to switch operations back and forth between PS and ID, and when I'm done storing the image and go back to ID, I want ID to update the image.The ID forum has been asked and it doesn't seem to work.Maybe there is a high level expert here.Can tell me the current window is ID or PS. Thank you very much.

I need help, I’m at the end of my rope with Adobe and I’m about to call a lawyer as adobe is in violation of its own terms and service.  To make a long story short: I work in Hollywood with film Directors on the studio lot. I use an perpetual version of photoshop because I use custome scripts Ive created over the years specifically for film production. Last week, I swapped out a CPU on my workstation which in turn, somehow deleted my photoshop activation. *important to note, the computer and all other software apps on my workstation are still running fine, but adobe refuses to allow me to register my photoshop saying "I should have deactivated my photoshop before i swapped out me CPU. " ...No where in the documentation does it say I should have deactivated PS before swapping out a CPU. It simply states that I need to deactivate if I move to a new workstation. THIS IS THE SAME WORKSTATION and amounts to them stealing my property and  ....yet their customer

The kind of color fill layers and shape layers is the same. How can I distinguish between a color fill layer and a shape layer using JSX?The following checks if the layer's kind is a shape and the path is greater than or equal to 1, which would make it a shape layer. 안녕하세요포토샵에서 사진 파일을 열려고 하면 이런 화면이 항상 뜹니다. 여러 파일을 선택해도 이런 화면이 뜨면서 한 개씩만 열리는데어떤 설정을 해야 원래대로 나오는지 모르겠어요. 

Após atualização 24.7.0 (na 24.6.0 também) os icones das ferramentas "essenciais" sumiram. Computador Dell Inspiron 5400 AIO (I7, 16 gb, Iris). Na versão 24.5.0 eles apareciam normalmente. Alguma solução?

Hey there, Since a few days, I constantly get "couldn't update smart objects, program error c61b18.1156". I don't know what provokes it. But it starts popping up when I als-left-click (Wacom). Then it also concerns the Marquee tool, I haven't tried much else since then. Edit: I deleted the smart objects, but it still kept popping up. Win 10, 128 GB RAM, Quadro M5000, 70% reserved for PS, extra 1 TB M2 SSD for scratch. What I unsuccessfully tried to "fix" it:Reset preferences....... my absolute "favourite"Update GPU driver (is/was the latests "conservative" production branch driver, so no update there)deactivate GPU in performance settingsdeactivate GeneratorPS already is latest current versioninstall PS user diagnostics (worked yesterday, won't copy anything to clipboard today)Wacom won't release new drivers for my device, so no updating those. Thanks in advance!

Just installed the latest PS update (now at 26.8) and the generative task bar is half gone.Cannot get the entire bar to appear whether I am using a blank canvas:or an existing project: Toggling the bar on and off does nothing. When I try to use super resolution on a RAW file (either .CR3 or .dng) right clicking on the image in ACR brings up a context menu with no "Enhance" option.  (Enhance > Super Resolution is working in Lightroom Classic just not in ACR via photoshop.) I have 3 images below.   My ACR preference for technology previews (no options show up) A Raw file being opened in ACR via Photoshop. The context menu for that Raw file when I right click (no Enhance choice shows up)I am frustrated.  Can anyone help?

Hello, I need help on how to bend images into a specific measurement. I tried transform warping it but it doesn't look right and it is imposible to get to the right measurement without the image looking bad. I am using it to cover and label a slanted canister. I already did the measurements and got a template, but I am having trouble with bending my image into the template. The measurement is 9cm Height x 10.5cm Top Diameter x 8.7cm Bottom Diameter. Thanks to anyone that can help!

Recently had to erase my HD (2019 MacPro) and do a new install of Sequoia. I was running Sonoma and PSD 2022 for two years at least and this keyboard shortcut worked great. I'm a professional illustrator and it was crucial to my work flow. While using the brush tool I hold down command option control and the color wheel popped up under the cursor for super quick color selections "on the fly".So I reasoned if I reinstalled 2022 I'd be back in business. I was able to reinstall PSD 2022 (FYI,  this shortcut was "broken" in subsequent releases of PSD. I actually installed 2023 and 2025 and confirmed it and so did others on forums). I launched 2022 this morning and was dismayed to discover that shortcut does not work.I'm at a loss as to what the heck is going on and also very disappointed that probably the most crucial shortcut I used in my daily work flow is gone.I'm trying out Magic Picker (https://anastasiy.com/magicpicker) currently to see if it could utilize a similiar ketboard sh

I have the current PS 2025.Is AI automatically in there?   If so where ?  or is it just in the Beta PS?I only need the basics at the moment but want to learn more.  I'm not a techy.Thanks    

After the latest updat to Photoshop, I get a pop up EVERY TIME I click on a layer mask, it makes no difference if it is a white mask or black mask or one I'm about to use or just making a selection of the mask, EVERY DOG GONE TIME  I click on the mask this pop up, pops up. I dismiss it and the next time I touch the layer mask, it pops up again. HOW IN HECK DO YOU SHUT IT OFF so it NEVER pops up again????   This is the annoying and persistent pop up: I can find nothing in the perferences to shut this thing off. Right clicking on it does nothing, no menu to shut it off or anything. What in the heck do you have to do in order to kill this darn thing??? This is crazy...

Workaround found: see my post down belowSteps to reproduce:Open any picture as a pixel layer (not a smart object).Start recording an action, name in "test"Click Filter>Camera Raw Filter, Camera Raw window opens.Press M (switch to Masking), click "Subject", Adjust all Exposure, Highlight, Contrast to max (just to make the effect more visible).Click OK in Camera RAW. Stop recording the 'test' action. The action recorded the Camera Raw filter:Close the picture. Open another (very different) picture.Run the recorded "test" action. You've created duck-shaped correction on a squirrel. xD Actual result: the initial AI mask is hard baked into an action.Expected result: the AI mask feature (Subject, Background, body parts, etc.) are re-detected every time the action runs.  Version: Photoshop 25.0, Camera Raw 16.0 and 15.5.1OS: Windows 10, x64 

Luminar Neo and Aurora HDR 2019, properly installed, are not showing up in Filter of photoshop, unable to use them as plugin. Logo's of both are present in the plugin file.What can I do to be able to use them as a plugin in Photoshop ?

I have researched and tried all solutions but Super Resolution / Enhance, etc not showing up in Camera Raw 17.0 - I have the latest Photoshop 2025 26.0.0 release. Am using camera raw through the photoshop filter, have the technology option toggled in camera raw settings and still no luck. Hope someone can help. Have attached screenshots - please I hope someone can help I have tried this on 2 different computer systems and still no luck.

HiI'm having a strange issue that I've only noticed on my laptop, but not my PC. There seems to be some lag when using the brush either with the mouse or my Wacom tablet. I've captured it via a GIF. I've tried resetting everything to Factory Settings, reinstalling Photoshop, turning Smoothing off, and under the brush's settings. My screen's refresh rate is 165Hz, so the mouse is typically fast/smooth. I'm also using an Intel i7 12700H and an RTX 3070.  Has anyone encountered this? Or know of a way to sort it? Thanks

I want to change the color of a dress and shirt in an image without changing the faces or shape

PS CS4I have a PNG image (which also contains transparency).  It is an image of an object over a background.  (Having the transparency is a nice option should I want to use it, but I don't).In this case, I want to load the PNG and see the object and it's background... NOT the transparency.I can open the PNG in other apps and choose to see the transparency or not... but in PS I can not find how to turn this transparency OFF.How do I turn OFF the transparency and see the image in full (object over background).Thanks!Mike
