Photoshop

Recently, I downloaded more than 200 brushes, including most of Kyle's brushes, and installed them in Photoshop cc 2018, in their respective folders. I tested and used several of the brushes. After closing and reopening Photoshop, all the downloaded folders were missing from the brushes panel. Only those (4) folders, which opened originally in the panel remain. Can anyone provide any explanation as to what may have caused the disappearance of all the brushes I downloaded and installed?

I just recently bought Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and it is not giving me the option to install either of them even though I have subscriptions with both of them. I also will not let me change. My subscription.

Okay, what happened? I'm running PS 26.2 and for some reason a white brush will not reveal the image after I have concealed with the black brush. Something in this new version has changed. What am I missing?Thanks in advance.

I've been trying to animate the mask of a layer in Photoshop to create a slightly more interesting reveal of text, as per dozens of tutorials (not least Adobe's own), but no matter what I do, the keyframing doesn't work - is this now not a feature of Photoshop animation?When I add a keyframe & move the mask, the position is the same across the timeline, instead of changing over time -the keyframe indicator for the first frame changes to the half-filled marker, instead of staying open.Any reason why I might be getting this really annoying behaviour?

I am trying to figure out how to reset the mixer brush tool at this point. I went into photoshop to smooth some skin on portraits and the mixer brush won't select the skin but instead has this weird static or automatically adjusts to solid color.  I can turn off the "solid color" option but it still just looks like static when I'm selecting skin and when I try to use the tool it just looks like a flat color instead of the texture of the skin. Anyone have this issue and figure it out? 

Hi! How do I install the 3d beta version? I have downloaded photoshop beta and Adobe substanch 3d beta but still can't load the 3d object from blender . Could you please tell me what I can do?

I can't seem to fix the menu bar to where the font is big enough to read. Any suggestions?I've tried Youtube, Adobe Help, changing Windows font size, Changing Font size with Photoshop. Nothing changes it in Photoshop.  Version 26.05.0   It is a microscopic font in PS but no where else.   

Adobe has gone all the way from a few hundred megabytes in size to 5 gigabytes now.It's too big. I think optimizing and streamlining basic operations may be more important.Hardware simply can't keep up with software updates.Have been looking for a better version to use.Wish it was small and fast, too hard. It is highly recommended that Ps ID AI, etc. have the option to choose whether certain components run or not, as we don't necessarily need all the features. What do you guys think is a better version to use?

All of a sudden photoshop CS3 on my mac requires an Authorization code for it to work - i have the serial and activation nos. I've searched the forums and haven't found a fix - has anyone solved this? - adobe chat directed me to the forums??

I just purchased a Nikon D850.. which has 3 times the megapixels of my old D7500.   Whenever I use "filter/liquify in Photoshop.. for my D7500 Raw files.. no problem.   But whenever I attempt to use it for Raw files for my D850's 47.5 megapixel Raw files.. I get the error message "Cannot perform "Disk Error".   Can the Technical people make a patch to fit this.. I really like to use Liquify in my retouching.

photoshop 24 - I ran a batch on a folder to create a duplicate of the images @800px at 72dpi. Selected a destination folder and ran. HOWEVer it look like I did not select the destimation folder and it has run the script over the original files :-(. Is there a way to recover the roiginal files ? very sad day

I tried to AI upscale first with topazlab gigapixel   to get extra, more prononced details  an then  AI extend but it got even more noticable. More blurry generated part vs photography .   Is it a known limitation  of Ai images currently?

Hello 🙂 hope you are all well.My command+x shortcut does not work at all in photoshop. but it works perfectly fine everywhere else, illustrator etc. I have tried rebooting my mac, setting everything to default from the pc settings, changed the language of the keyboard, deleting files from photoshop Option+Command+Shift, resetting all the tools, setting the shortcuts to default and rasterizing the layer. every other shortcut works fine in photoshop but not command+x.what could be the issue?thanks for the help, best regards. 

Hi, If I'm usung the Photoshop Beta version, do I need to keep the "older" Photoshop as well ? Or is it safe to remove it from my computer (to clear disk space).Thanks

Hi everyone,  I am fairly new to Photoshop - taking a class actually - and the very basic function of the healing brush is not working at all on the layer on top of the smart object. I already reset the tool, quit Photoshop and opened it again and nothing. I have the latest version as I just started a few weeks ago. Any suggestions for how to fix this? Thank you!

I edited an image in LR.  See 1st screenshot below.  I then clicked "Edit in Photoshop 2025" and when the image opened in Photoshop, the colors were different.  See 2nd screenshot.  I don't recall this being an issue in the past.  Is this normal?  Thanks.

Ni Photoshop ni Bridge, cargan los archivos de fotografías RAW ni JPG, se bloquea y no deja cerrar sesión.

When I ask to crop an image with aspect ratio and specified resolution, the imposed crop frame fills the image in one dimension (say vertical) and is centered on the image cropping off the two side equally horizontally.  I can't find a way to move the image right or left so the crop covers one side of the image more than the other.  Is this possible? 

Ever since I updated photoshop 2024 to 2025, I cant seem to save my files as webp anymore. this used to be a feature, im wondering if this has been removed or if its a bug. Anyone else experiencing this issue with 2025 version?  if someone knows how to still save as webp in the 2025 version without a plugin or converters let me know!
