Hello, I'm getting the 'shoelace' tapering problem in Photoshop 26.3.0 and earlier versions that I have tried as well. I do not experience this issue in Paint Tool SAI, and I don't remember ever having this issue in photoshop Cs5/6 back in the day. I have tried every proposed solution I could find on this forum and others, including:-different brushes(ones that taper just fine for my friends)-Wacom driver/tablet properties pen/pressure settings-different file resolutions-all different smoothing settings combinations-spacing settings-Using wintab instead of windows ink-using windows ink instead of wintab-reinstalling wacom driver-reinstalling adobe CC + photoshop I see that in many of the existing threads about this topic, people are suggesting Lazy Nezumi pro, but I can't even tell if that's a serious fix or just shilling of another product. I have 220 - 24"x12" spreads for a three volume album. The company I sent the $6000 album order to in November went out of business in January. The company was to produce the old fashioned albums with matted pages and required I create my PSD spreads (converted to JPG) with a very bright magenta background.  See attached images. Apparently their laser production method required this color wherever we wanted matted borders. I can't find another album company who still makes matted albums AND will accept my spreads with the magenta backgrounds.  So I think making a flushbound album with the images on a black background with a thin white stroke around each image is the way to go. I wonder with all the new AI technology, Is there a way to work on a JPG file to add a white stroke to each image?  Once I do this I can use  the paint bucket tool to change the magenta to black. Please refer to the attached images.  

I am using latest PS version 26.3 on win10.Nvidia with latest driver.When I Use Windows Ink, pen pressure is working but i get an anoying text under the cursor when I press Atl/Ctrl/Shift. This is annoying but I can tollerate it. the problem is that once I press any of these keys, when using the selection brush e.g., it changes the cursort from brush to noraml arrow cursor for the rest of teh selection operation.I start 'quick selectio' the sursor is a brush shape and if I press e.g., Alt it change to the default windows arrow cursor and stays this way even when I release the Alt button. When unselect Use Windows Ink, the selection works as it should , the brush does not change shape to arrow, there is no annoying text under the brush, however, the pen pressure is not working. So how do i make it all work?  

I need help figuring out if I can auto blend a selection area of two images. I stack two images as layers and when I choose auto blend it blends both images. I am trying to select only the window area of an interior shot and auto blend the selection only. Is this possible? When I highlight the windows with lasso tool and choose auto blend it still blends the entirety of both images

Issue: Classic Gradient Editor doesn't change the active gradient, instead creates a new Preset Photoshop version:  26.1.0 20241113.r.121 158e617 x64 OS: Windows 11 64-bit Steps to reproduce: Create a new document. Select the Gradient tool, then Classic gradient Click on the box containg the gradient to open the Gradient editor Make any changes to the gradient then click OK   Expected result: Active gradient should reflect the changes we just madeActual result: The new gradient is saved as a preset while active gradient stays unchanged It started happening after I updated Photoshop to version 26, it worked perfectly until then. I'm using Save for Web in Photoshop to export a static backup for banner ads, keeping the file under 40K. In Photoshop, the file size shows as 38.79K, but after saving, Finder on my Mac reports it as 53K. This discrepancy is unusually large, and Save for Web has always been accurate for me before. I'm not sure why it's suddenly off. I'm using Mac Photoshop 2024 (v25.11). I've also tried this in a newer version of Photoshop and experienced the same issue. I've covered the original creative with black in this screenshot as to protect the proprietary content.

Kyle T. Webster brushes....I just set up a new computer & figured I'd load a few brush sets to try them out. The ones featured here don't seem to import, as I get an error saying they're not compatible.Anyone else having this issue?Are there versions of these/other "official" brushes elsewhere? thanks 

Hello I searched a lot about this topic, but can't find anything.Since the update for Photoshop 26.3. I dont have the option anymore to add a new layer, the blending options also disappeared; like the whole bar is no more. How can I add thm again? I can still finde them in the menu or via shortcut, but that is just tedeous... Am I missing something?

I am trying to place a single brushstroke on an image as a watermark. I'm encountering errors when I attempt to access the brush presets. Hello, for several days I have a big problem with latest Photoshop version. When I do anything in Photoshop that opens a new window it freezes for 1-2 second. For example, if I press Image Size this window will freeze for 1-2 seconds before opening. Same with Save As, Canvas Size, Color Lookup, Generative fill and all other windows inside PS. This slows my work very much. This freeze looks like I'm working on old PC that has no enough power, windows are opening slowly, I see white rectangles and other "glitch". And finally after 1-2 second of waiting it opens. I don't know at what moment this started, but several days ago. I don't remember any updates of my system that could affect this. I reinstall Photoshop 2025, I reset settings, I tried older Nvidia drivers, I try to start Photoshop with disabled extensions and plugins. Nothing helped. The only thing is helped is Photoshop 2021! I install this old version and it works smooth, no freezing. Photoshop 2024 also freezing. I can't insta

I keep getting this error window each time i start any of my Adobe Apps: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Can't figure out how it's affecting my work yet, any thoughts on how to fix this? Thank you kindlyAndrea 

This has been an ongoing problem since the recent release of Photoshop. Photoshop becomes nonresponsive for about 3-5 minutes when copying text from another program like MS Word, for example. If I edit a menu via Edit -> Menus to hide items, the hidden items do not persist and reappear in the menu when I restart Photoshop 2025.How do I get them to stay hidden?

After update Photoshop 25 does not appear on my Windows 11 desktop!Everything else does, like Lightroom, but Photoshop doesn't work. The previous PS Icon on my desktop it's not working. 

This problem has existed for at least two years. For years I was able to use Neural filters without problems. Overnight it stopped working in the middle of a project I was working. Since then I have faithfully kept up with the lasted version of PS. I have reported this problem in the past and after weeks of following all the Adobe help suggestions I can still not use the filter. Sometimes when I drag a jpeg or png from my desktop or folder it opens up all distorted and the colours messed up. Usually a yellow and white tint over it. Happens even if i right click the file and open with photoshop. The only fix I have been able to find is open it in illustrator and move it into photoshop from there.If someone could tell me the reason why this is happening? or if they have had the same issue and how/if they were able to fix it.Thank You!

it wont save

This new "Generative Credits" system? It’s an absolute scam.Now, every time I use a generative feature in Photoshop, it drains my credits—and for what? 90% of the time, the results are useless garbage. Why should I be charged for so weird results?And as if that wasn’t bad enough, Adobe has already doubled the subscription prices. So now we’re paying more while getting less. First, they lock essential tools behind a paywall, and now they’re introducing artificial limits on features that should be included in the overpriced subscription we already pay for.Adobe is squeezing every last penny from its users while delivering worse service. You call this innovation? Because from where I’m sitting, it looks like a rip-off.Fix this nonsense. Either scrap the credit system or make sure we’re not wasting them on AI-generated trash. Enough is enough.

I’m trying to install Photoshop via Creative Cloud, but the installation gets stuck at "Initializing" every time. I’ve tried restarting, updating Creative Cloud, and clearing the cache, but no luck.Any solutions? Thanks!

I'm attempting to redo migration from an old Silicon Mac to an M4 Mac, and I understand that I should first uninstall all Adobe apps from the old Mac prior to running a last Time Machine backup.So I used the CC app on the old Mac to uninstall Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge, and CC ended up showing no apps installed--but of course I had chosen with each app to KEEP the prefs, hoping to migrate those and then do fresh installs that would pick them up.But the step of keeping the prefs seems to prevent running the "Uninstall Creative Cloud": it complains that I still have CC apps installed.I'm stuck.

Am I free to distribute plugins built using SDK headers and library files without including the SDK files?Is it required to mention Adobe's license information in the plugin's license file?
