I would like to see Generative Fill allow for the element created to be seperate from the background with which it blends. For example, you have a lilypad and you Generate a frog. But on the generative layer, you also have the surrounding "border" that the system has added to blend to the lilypad background. Often this is great and doesn't cause a problem. But if it were possible to Generate onto two layers instead of one (or better yet, two layers PLUS an adjustment layer containing color cast, etc.) that would be more useful. Thanks for your great work!Scott StewartGurnee, IL
In previous versions there was the possibility of performing a quick export as a png from a file to the location where the PSD file was located, however, in the new versions this option was excluded and generates much more work. Today it is only possible to quickly export to the last export location.
With the new Generative AI it would be great to have a quick way to send a generated image to a new layer that isn't a literal duplicate, since duplicating the layer creates a duplicate of all the image generations as well. So basically a way to make a new "normal" layer from a generated image, while preserving the generative layer to continue additional processing ideas. (I do know it's possible to click through the old generated options, but as soon as you want to keep more than one, it's duplicate, rasterize, duplicate, rasterize, etc.)
There are no Optics correction for any Panasonic LUMIX cameras. I recently purchased Panasonic LUMIX DC-TZ200Dand there are no chromatic and Optics correction available in Photoshop for this currently availale camera
Hi, can you please buy this Photoroom company and use their background removal technology. Whould be nice. Thanks
Imagine being able to create tags for specific brush groups, by medium, project or any other characteristic you want, that you can search in the brush preset dialog in a flash. Easily tag or untag brushes with batch selection. Apply more than one tag on the same brush and have that brush available in different groups without needing to keep duplicates. Combine tags in your search for even faster sorting. (#watercolor, #textured, #wash)
It would be greatly beneficial to have fill and stroke options available in the contextual bar after creating a shape.
tl;dr - image to image, rather than text to image. This is an enhancement of the Generative Fill tool. The Problem: Generative Fill sometimes doesn't "get it." Sometimes, I can describe exactly what I'm looking for, and wind up hitting "generate" over and over without the AI getting near the mark. AI also sometimes has trouble with scale.Rather than coming up with a dozen ways to describe the same thing in the hopes that the AI will understand, let me show the AI what I want. Here's a breakdown of how it would work: Object Placement: I start by placing a photo or graphic of an object onto a scene in Photoshop. This object could be anything from a person to a piece of furniture to a building. I can set the scale.Generative Fill Invocation: After placing the object, I select the option for "Adaptive Object Integration" in the Generative Fill tool.Object Recognition: Generative Fill identifies the object I've placed within the scene, recognizing its shape, texture, color, and othe
My image processing is centered around my logitech mouse with 4 ACR controls programmed into 4 separate mouse buttons, an apple magic trackpad that I use to adjust sliders with my left index finger, and mouse movements to move the selector to whatever slider I want to adjust. If there were a way that AI could make it so that a voice prompt would move the selector to the slider that I want to adjust, that would be one less movement that I would have to make. It would also probaby help mitigate some of my grumpiness I hold towards AI in general. What say ye Adobe?
I want to be able to tilt my brush to get a broader scatter effect. This would allow me to hold my pen upright to use a pencil brush with a thin, sharp line; and then tilt the pen for a broader, softer, more scattered line. This would simulate tilting a pencil in real life to use the broad edge for shading. Currently when I set brush scatter to Pen Tilt, the effect works in reverse: the stroke is scattered when the pen is upright, and gets thinner/sharper when the pen is tilted. This is exactly the opposite of what I want. This is BY FAR my most wanted feature and the reason that I will never be able to use Photoshop over Clip Studio Paint, despite Photoshop being far more powerful in many ways. Please consider adding a way to reverse the effect.
I'm an art student in college and due to my job I have acces to the Creative Cloud Suite, which I'm able to use for work and personal things. When filling in colors selections I've drawn, the simplest answer would seem to be use the paint bucket tool. However, when doing so it leaves a small white outline around the area you tried to fill in, and attempts to mess with the tolerance settings don't fix it. Double clicking it doesn't work either, since then it overfills the selection and makes all the edges pixelated. I feel like this simple update to make the Paint Bucket tool better at filling in selections would greatly benefit all users as well as peak the interest of other potential users. Many of my other art friends use different art programs due to them being easier to use, and at times I've been tempted to purchase other art programs due to things like this making it so my artwork isn't as clean as I'd hoped. I've seen tips from other users who offer workarounds t
The concept of pixels per inch (or pixels per centimeter) made sense 36 years ago when we lived in a film and print centric world. But now that we're in a mostly digital age isn't it time to revisit this often misunderstood measurement? Perhaps it could be renamed "Print PPI/PPC", or something else that better describes its purpose? There are too many people who are led to believe that 300ppi means that an image is large and 'hirez' without considering its pixel dimensions. (I wonder why it was ever created in the first place...)Out with the (really!) old and time for something new? Russell
I want to see Adobe through its various products have a simple easy-to-use upscaler for print and web.I just feel that a company like Adobe should have had one many years ago. They should also consider the upscale on the market and buy those as part of their future development. This upscaler should be simple to use and straightforward to explain. I do not want to pay for an upscaler outside Adobe. I want an upscaler as part of my Creative Account plan.Adobe need to get a move on in this department as there are dozen of these upscalers on the market and Adobe seem to be falling asleep in this area.
When we do a selection, and use the generative fill above a image, it take into consideration the surrounding only. But when we decrease the intensity of the selection, then we do the generative fill, it also take into consideration what's inside our selection. The more our selection is close to 1% intensity, the more our generative fill result is close to our original plate. What about a slider to control this intensity ?
Photoshop web is very convenient but not having as many options to change how the interface works like changing short cut keys and turning on an option for scrolling with a mouse wheel makes it feel more clunky than the desktop application for photoshop.
I have an idea that users of the mobile version of Photoshop might like, which is to make the phone version of Photoshop with the same features as the computer version so that we can benefit from all the features within the application. I ask everyone who agrees with my opinion to vote for me and we hope that the developers approve of the idea. Thank you to everyone who read this comment and I wish everyone a happy day
I was doing some experimenting and I've discovered a more accurate and detail orientated color for quick masking. Might be a very simple change but I think it would be a significant improvement. Using a layer in Subtract mode and the color #0cff00. The traditional red has always been a blessing but I was amazed at the difference this is making. It defines the edges of the mask more accurately and really exposes every single tiny little detail being masked. It also reveals the incredibly hard to miss subtle tonal differences in shading especially when dealing with white on white. I think this would provide users with an improved quick masking ability, but it may also be utilized as a way for AI to better discern masking edges, background removal and other similar processes. Thanks!
For non-destructive editing, having "Current & below" setting for Cloning, Healing, etc. is key - it was a huge plus (truly a game-changer) when it was introduced many years ago. The new Remove tool is very helpful, but it only has a "Sample All Layers" checkbox! It needs the same three choices as Clone Stamp. Healing brush. etc.
As the title says...[shift]+[crl] click on a group-icon to load/create a selection.ANDLoad/create a selection out of selected layers at once. Nowadays I use Photoshop mostly to "fix" height maps produced by photogrammetry and need some real time feedback as a normal map or emboss or "lighting" . Something to visualize 16 bit height image into something visually sounding, representing actual geometry. Doing it as smart obect is inconvenient as hell because you first have to save it to see result in other window. On hi res photogrammetry images it takes forever . So please do height-to-normal or "lighting effect" as adjustment filter or better sbsar working as live filter please. I currently have to use Affinity Photo instead because it does have such live filter and would love to do it in Photoshop instead. I still prefer Photoshops. Content aware fill with flip option and content aware move are much better than "inpainting" in APhoto b
Why in 2024 is the photoshop toolbar limited to 16 slots for tools with an ellipse menu being the last one? I use photoshop on several large and high resolution displays. I should be able to expand that toolbar length to be whatever I wish. This is one of many frustrating limitations being added to the latest (post 2012) upodates to CC that simple add bloat or get in the way. (title edited as per community guidelines)
Please return "Default File Location" to "File Saving Options" Preference!Having to costantly click "On your computer" when saving a new file is very annoying. Stop introducing mouse clicks to normal workflows.
I have multiple layers: background, gradient fill, type, adjustment etc... I created a path then I decided to scale my type layer:Clicked my type layerctrl + t.it transforms the path The solution is to go to paths window and deselect the path and then select the type layer. I believe it would have been more efficient to release the path automatically when another layer is selected.
Is it possible to split timelines in Photoshop during video editing, similar to using Shift+D in After Effects? If not, Adobe, please do something. I can't stand doing everything manually anymore. Please save me some time, thank you.
