Photoshop (Beta)

The starburst icon (not sure what else to call it) in camera raw in the upper right seems to have lost its effectiveness with the last couple updates.  If I open it and choose, e.g., the brush option and then e.g., use it to try to decrease shadows, it barely makes any difference at all vs the great help it has been previously.  Is this your bug or am I doing something wrong?  Thanks.

I've updated all the apps to latest version and still having problems.I've consulted with Adobe service online with them looking at my screen.  I'm still running into problems with both versions of Ps.  #1... I can now open photo in Photoshop from Lightroom but it puts up a box with "Disk Error" when trying to save and go back to Lightroom.#2...When trying to open from Lightroom to Photoshop Beta I get "Disk Error."Attached are the Error screen shots.Attached is the way my Lighroom preferences screen is set up.  I got this setup from Anthony Morganti. He recommened this in order to get both versions of Photoshop to work with Lightroom. It partially helped with the problems I'm having.  Prior to this setup I couldn't open at all in the old Photoshop version. Also attached is my computer info.  It's Mac M2, 16Gb, Ventura 13.4.1Thanks for any help in solving this problem.Don 

If I only install photoshop beta and cannot use the plug-in, the plug-in will be displayed as incompatible,and I need to install the official version at the same time to use it I can only choose to install a photoshop beta for some reasonMy Loupedeck CT keyboard doesn't work when I install both the official and beta versions of photoshopPlease is there any way to solve this problem?

While working on a project using Photoshop (Beta), I encountered a message saying that I need to use the latest version of Photoshop Beta in order to use Generative Fill feature even though I've updated it to the latest version. I even checked the Creative Cloud for possible new updates but all my softwares are already in their latest versions. Please help resolving this issue. Thanks.

 Before the updates a few weeks ago, I could perfectly open a photo from my Lightroom (Command + E) directly into Photoshop Beta, edit it, and then save it again.Now I can't! It doesn't open the photo for me and gives me an error. HUGE HELP PLEASE!

No pop-up menus are showing. For example, Image > Image Size usually brings up the image controls but it's not showing. I can tell a window is "open" invisibly because I can't click on anything else until I hit ESC but I have no visual. Can't even do Save As because no save windows is visible. Everything was fine until I did the latest update. Having to go back to Photoshop 24.7.0. Everything is working fine there.

Hello, I am not sure whether this is an individual issue that my macbook has but I have not been able to download the beta version yet as i can not click the link in the creative cloud. Has anyone else experienced this? What would help or what would I need to do to resolve this? Thank you and best regards Nadine

I contacted Adobe support and they played around with my computer settings.For Love or money I cannot get PS beta to even appear in the menu. I am in China. Is it blocked here?  Cheers 

Why am I getting prominent lines when I expand the image and it is not matching it only started in this version. Windows 11  

If you want to increase the JPEG image toB 1-5 M in Photoshop, then it is not compressing the size, reduce the Regulation or the image size but the file size remains large.

Hi Team when I use BETA Photoshop and use the amazing gerative option it used to give four options if you did not particular want the one added to the image and you also had the option to regenerate for more options and then click on the one that works best.  The alternative options are no longer generated since the upgrade?  All I have is four white boxes if you tap this it then shows 9 white boxes but no alternative images?  Could you please advise?  Dr Anne Smiith

The update today (8-22-23) has problems. When I use generative expand the new image is NOT seemless.I can see the seem at the juncture of original and expansion.

When I try to close or open artboard in the right layers panel, nothing happens. Its just doesn't react to my click. Tried to completely reinstall cc desktop app, prevently removed all adobe apps. This didn't do a thing. Any solutions?Btw, I'm using latest photoshop 25.0

I'm curious if anyone else has encountered this problem with the latest version of Photoshop BETA. Despite having the most up-to-date version, I consistently receive a prompt stating that I require the latest version to utilize the generative fill feature. This issue persists even after uninstalling and reinstalling the software. For the record, I am using Windows 10. Could someone provide insights into this situation? Thanks!

     Running PS (Beta) 25.0.0 on an iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017, 4.2  Quad Core Intel Core i7, Radeon Pro 580 8 GB, 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4, running Ventura 13.5.1.     Opening a 560 MB .PSD file, Activity Monitor shows PS taking up 2.3 GB of memory.  Later, after opening another file (simultaneously) and then closing it, Activity Monitor shows PS taking up over 30 GB of memory.  I'd like somebody to know about this variation; it doesn't seem proper to me, a user of very modest experiste.

Hello, I'm unable to open Photoshop beta 25 on Macbook pro M1. I used the cleaning tool twice (on 8/21 and today) on the creative cloud desktop, restarted my computer, reinstalled creative cloud and downloaded the lastest update of photoshop beta. Even after all of that, when I go to click the photoshop beta app it immediately has a pop up says  "The application “Adobe Photoshop (Beta)” can’t be opened."  Your guidance is appreciated! I'm on the Photoshop app on my Windows laptop using Photoshop 24.6 and Photoshop beta 24.7. It keeps telling me that I need to update my beta program, but my Creative Cloud is telling me I have the most recent version, so I can't use generative fill when I should be able to, and I need this to alter a reference photo for my art class.

Latest version of Photoshop 24.7 freezes and then crashes when saving. Happens mostly on large files. I uninstalled it and reinstalled version 21.41 which seems like the only solution at this point. I'm running windows 10 on a dell precision tower 5810 with 64 gigs of ram. Is anyone else having the same problem? Is Adobe aware of this?

Instale hoy la versión de photoshop 24.7, al abrirla y querer usar el relleno generativo me dice que debo actualizar la versión... si ya tengo instalada la última versión a través de Creative Clound???? Ayuda por favor ya la he desinstalado e instalado varias veces y sigue el mismo error.

Hi, the latest update you released today (25.0.0 20230820.m.2296 c61c3a5 arm64) did not rectify the issue of photoshop beta crashing when trying to open a Tiff file.  I have tried JPEGs & PNG files & that works fine!  Just something about Tiff files it doesnt like.My system is as follows: Operating System: Mac OS 13.5.1 System architecture: Apple M2 Pro, HybridCPU(8:4) Physical processor count: 12 Built-in memory: 32768 MB For some reason it works on my Macbook Air M1, which has left me stumped.I have completely uninstalled all adobe products from my computer.  Including all hidden folders, preferences, logs etc, so I could do a fresh install.  Evening using cleanMyMac to help.  After reinstalling creative cloud & installing photoshop beta, the same issue exits.However on typing this issue, i've just discovered if you have tab open using a different file format such as JEPG then it allows you to open Tiff files!  Both from lightroom, using

Ao fazer a última atualização - quase obrigatória -  do PS Beta, não consigo retrair (fechar) as pranchetas no painel camadas. Aconteceu com mais alguém? Conseguiram resolver? 

When saving, I get the message: Could not save"DSC_1299_EDIT.psd" becausewrite access was not granted. After I click the OK button, it saves just fine to its original position.
