Photoshop (Beta)

When I try to open photos from LR 13.5.1 using the "edit in...", it comes up saying "Lightroom Classic and Photoshop 2024 are having issues connecting. Please reinstall Adobe 2024 Photoshop and try again”.  Then you can only select CANCEL     If I have Photoshop up and running this is the message I am getting “Do you want to open in Adobe Photoshop (Beta), Which is already running? If not please close and re try”.   Open in Photoshop (Beta)    or Cancel

When using the gradient tool, I have noticed the bracket key shortcut, to cycle through the gradient styles, has stopped working in the recent Photoshop (Beta) updates. I'm using 26.0.0.   I'm on an iMac, Intel, OS 14.6.1. Thanks, in advance, for checking it out.

I've seen this used to transofrm a layer into an oil painting or sketch, but the workflow is not working: I've tried quick select > Fill 30% greyTurn off quick selectGenerative fill prompt "Architecture site plan" (or any prompt) = total fail (blue and white blobby nonsense).  I have tried a 30% grey mask. I've tried a bunch of other opacities.  I've tried creating an alpha channel, setting to 30%, clicking RGB thumbnail, selecting the alpha chanell, running Gen Fill = blue blobby mess (even with the prompt "oil painting"Is there a new way to do this, or am I doing something idiotic?

I've been using Photoshop Beta with Generative Fill for the past few weeks, and when it works it works well. However, one issue that I've had since day one is that it frequently causes my Photoshop to crash. Here's what typically happens:   I select some area. I click "Generate" (doesn't matter if I put a promp in or not). The progress bar gets to around 80%. Dice are thrown, and quite often my Photoshop will just crash and close.   When it crashes, 90% of the time the Photoshop window just disappears and I have to re-open it. 10% of the time I get some generic message saying there is some 'fix' found, where none of the suggestions fix it. I've been using Photoshop for years without issue, and it's only this one new feature that suddenly causes it to crash all the time. Also, sometimes before the Photoshop crash my mouse cusor will lock up for a few seconds.   I've tried disabling GPU usage in Photoshop, forcing Photoshop's CPU affinity to just one CPU, and no matter w

Using the Gen Expand in ACR From LrC does the expand, but loses it when exiting ACR. MacOS Sequoia, LrC, MacBookPro 14 M2/32gb/512 Steps to re-produce1. Started with a 1024x1024 image in LrC and I sent this over to Photoshop Beta 26.1 as a Smart Object - so I could invoke ACR 17.12. PS Opens and I can invoke ACR 17.1 by dbl-clicking on the smart object badge in the layer panel - so far ok3. I do a Gen Ex within ACR to change the image to 16:9 from it's original 1:1 ratio and choose the best alternative. Again, ok. It has now filled in the background and expanded it to 16:9.4. I close ACR with [OK] and the image available in PS looks like the screen shot, below.  The Gen Ex imagery is missing in the image (you can see the crop outline is 16:9 with the black behind it) - but if you see the layers panel, you can see it in the thumbnail.  I can't find anyway to get the pixels in PS....so I close the image and lose the gen.  I had some other difficulties - if I

Hello.  I added hair with Beta (AI) to a photo i have.  when i tried to change colors or any manipulations, the AI part would not change .. How do i combine the AI to be part of the photo.   Thank you.   Yvette

The tool will not display on my computer.  Wondering if there is an issue with it working on Snapdragon X Elite?

Windows 11, Beta 26.1.0,Crop tool opens. Create crop. Click check mark to complete crop. Nothing happens, crop handles remain visible. Switched to Classic Crop tool and handles will disappear but image is not cropped.

As you can see, there are two people facing to the camera there, yet the remove options shows "No people were found".

what [cursing removed] is going on, stable diffusion works fine but when i'm trying to do stuff with generative ai from adobe, it keeps poping up this stupid window all the time " we guidelines ". I don't have time to read a 73 page manifesto, just make it work. God I hope Nvidia launches something, because the only reason people are still using Photoshop is because they didn't skip the AI craze, but it seems to be failing badly.

In LR, normally I can click the "edit in PS Beta" and it launches PS Beta and opens the file.  Since updating to Beta 26.1 it no longer will do that.  After a minute or two LR gives an error that PS can't open the file .... but then in 30 seconds or so PS does open it.  Is this getting fixed and how do I uninstall the update?   thank you.

What is the resolution of a sky when I use Sky Replacement to enhance a photo I've taken?  And it is possible to adjust it?  I want to print out a photo for framing, and I set my photo resolution at 300 prior to adding a sky.  But I'm not sure what the resolution of that sky will be.

PS béta, version francophone, je Remplace le ciel, ce qui crée un nouveau groupe de calque, si je fait un clique droit sur l'ensemble de calque pour afficher le sous menu, certain items sont en anglais ! 

While Entering Tab key, it Shifts to CMYK Boxes and Fills to Change Number Properly on Old Versions, But now it is not filling i have to work with Keys (ctrl+shift+right arrow), is there any another solution to restore old version type.

Por favor, necesito ayuda con esto ya que desde la última notificación de actualización el relleno generativo está deshabilitado, al seleccionar un área específica esta opción aparece en gris, por un momento pensé que sería obligatorio actualizar ya que ha sucedido antes, sin embargo, no me funciona por más que reinicie mi PC y por más que reinicie o busque actualizaciones de Creative Cloud, las bibliotecas se sincronizan, las demás apps sincronizan con la nube pero el relleno generativo de Photoshop no funciona
