Photoshop (Beta)

Used Lasso tool a few times around a person. didn't remove or replace. First time this has happened. 

when I click the "edit in quick mask mode" the prompt box disappear. How to fix this issue? Thanks

Parametric Oil Paint filter works on my MacBook Pro 2017 Ventura 13.6.4 but not on my MacBook Pro 2019 Sonoma 14.3.1. Any suggestions how to fix this problem? Thank you, Suzanne

When I try to load 3 tiff files into layers with the script "Load files into stack" it fails with an errormessage on screen: The files are normally accessible, do not have duplicate filenames, do not reside in folders with weird characters or whatever.The Lear how to fix button shows a page that does not reflect the fact that this error is thrown from a built in script. Please advise 🙂 edit: it works OK in Photoshop 2024 (the NON-beta version)edit 2: My beta version is up-to-date: 2.5.5

It might be Photoshop Beta-only bug. I tested the behaviour in both PS versions I have installed: 25.4.0 (Beta) - error 25.3.1 (Current latest stable) - ok   Steps to reproduce:1) Start PS and create a new document 2) Paint anything with the brush to confirm it is working3) Window -> Arrange -> New Window for Untitled-14) Try to use brush again -> "Could not use the brush tool because of a program error"   I am not sure in which beta it was introduced, I haven't used this function for a while.   I am on Win10, NVIDIA 3080, 64 GB RAM. In both version the "Disable native canvas" is NOT checked. I tested changing some GPU settings and the GPU compositing have no effect, but I can turn off the "Use Graphics Processor" and that seems to "fix" the issue (but makes PS hard to use 🙂 )

Aberration, not Aberation (name and presets) 

Hi,With the latest version of Photoshop Beta (and actually since introducing the AI fix ability) there has been some sort of memory leak where after a few modifications to different files, I no longer have the capacity to do a liquify, it simply states not able to complete this task. If I shut down photoshop, re-open with the same file, then I can liquify.  This happens after every 5-8 images.Thanks.My machine spec is attached.

Since updating to v.25.4, I regularly encounter "program error" alerts that aren't allowing me to carry out normal functions.  i.e. Using the move tool to bring a jpeg into the PSD file; and duplicating a layer from one PSD file to another.  I've tried clearing caches, computer restarts, etc.  Is it possible to revert to a previous version of Photoshop?

On a Mac, when another program opens in front of Photoshop Beta and I click on the photoshop screen behiend to bring it forward it doesnt always pop to the front. I have to shrink it down and bring it up to move it infront of other windows such as Chrome. Sometimes the Menu items, such as layers will stay in front also when I click on other programs. So photoshop would be behiend but layers stays in front.   

With the the production version of Photoshop the select subject remembers whether  you used cloud or on device method. with the beta version this is not maintained. 

Hallo,seit dem letzten Updaten der Beta-Version 25.4.0 funktioniert beim Pfadwerkzeug die Tastenkombination "Optionstaste mit  Mausklick" zum entfernen der Grifflinie nicht mehr. Stattdesen wird mir beim drücken der Optionstaste die Pipette angezeigt, siehe Anhang. Eine Möglichkeit, die Grifflinie anders zu entfernen, habe ich nicht gefunden. Ich habe sonst immer beim freistellen mit dem Pfadwerkzeug nach dem erstellen einer Kurve, mit dem drücken der Optionstaste+Mausklick die Grifflinie entfernt, um anschließend eine neue gerade Linie zu erstellen. Das funktioniert leider gar nicht mehr. Muss ich was umstellen, oder hat Photoshop einen Bug?!Vielen Dank für eine Antwort! 

La génération des plans de travail ne fonctionne plus sur la BETA, une seconde fenêtre noire s'ouvre et reste bloquée.

On Photoshop Beta 25.5 - only!When I try to same and update smart-object contents I get "Could not complete your request because of a program error" and Photoshop gets stuck. 

The preset Styles ans my Styles are missing. Photoshop doesn't import and append default styles, I've uninstalled Photoshop, but the problem persists.

I use the Photoshop Beta application every day. Every time I open the application, the Tools and Options panels are closed. I have to reactivate them from the Window menu and adjust the settings again. Why do the 'Options' and 'Tools' panels become inactive every time? How can I resolve this?

Windows 11 desktop; Photoshop Beta V. 25.5. m.2464 When I drag a layer in one Photoshop file to another Photoshop file, the layer is not transferred when the files are docked. When I arrange the files vertically, the traditional drag-and-drop works as expected.

Folgende Probleme konnte ich in den letzten Tagen in der neuesten Photoshop (Beta) Version feststellen:Bei Auswahl des Verlaufswerkzeugs sind in der oberen Menüleiste nur noch voreinstellte Farbverläufe verfügbar. Eigene können auch über die Einstellungen hier nicht mehr definiert werden. Dies geht nur noch über die Einstellungen im Fenster "Verlauf".Die Videozeitleiste lässt sich im Arbeitsbereich "Grafik und Web" nur noch links andocken, nicht mehr am unteren Bildschirmrand. Das nimmt sowohl in der Video-Zeitleiste als auch im Arbeitsbereich leider sehr viel Platz weg. Eine Anordnung untereinander war für mich praktikabler.Beim Arbeitsbereich "Grafik und Web" liegt die Arbeitsleiste mit dem "Startseiten-Icon", der Transformationssteuerung usw. lose im oberen Bereich des Fensters und lässt sich nicht andocken. Der blaue "Teilen"-Button ist fest an einer Stelle verankert und verdeckt eine Funktion (vermutlich den Haken zur Bestätigung von Änderungen, denn dieser wird nicht angezeigt).D

não consigo usar o Preenchimento generativo, a barra de carregamento chega ao final, mas não completa a imagem, mesmo que seja algo simples e sem prompt. em ambas as versões do PS 

Bonjour, Je vous contacte car je suis depuis ce matin confronté à un souci très handicapant dans mon travail : quand auparavant la combinaison ctrl + backspace (retour arrière) supprimait l'intégralité du mot précédent le curseur, comme sur toutes les applications textuelles que je connaisse, elle s'est subitement mise à faire comme la touche suppr, et à supprimer le caractère devant le curseur. La touche suppr est là pour ça, et au lieu de facilement supprimer des mots complets je dois désormais commencer par réécrire le caractère qui a été effacé, puis appuyer sur shift, sélectionner le mot que je voulais enlever, et enfin seulement appuyer sur backspace. Si ce changement est un bug, je voulais vous en avertir, mais si c'est intentionnel : svp non hein, ou alors laissez-nous décider !

According to my Creative Cloud, my Photoshop Beta updated today to 25.0.0 and I can no longer toggle the artboards in the layers palette. I keep them all closed to keep my layers palette neat and the only way to open them right now is to right-click on a layer in the actual artboard. I rebooted and restarted the program multiple times, but nothing changes. This is a major speed bump in my workflow...anyone else have this problem and might there be a workaround? I am on Windows 11.

I usually love the new remove tool but I see more and more that  it produces an undesirable pattern that has the appearance of a woven cloth texture. - see pictures attached  (and I did change my  Image Processing...   to "More Stable - to try to help that) but its still doing it pretty frequently.  thanks 

I had just used the adjustment brush to add hue/saturation to specific parts of an image and decided to go to a prior layer to slightly recrop.  Did the recrop (slight expansion) and selected the layer with the adjustment brush so I could apply the same adjustment to the expanded piece.  Darned if it didn't hang big time. I ended up having to force quit, which took me WAY back to the very beginning.  I am sooo glad I did a couple of interim saves! Running Beta 25.5.0  m.2489MBP with M1 Max chip, 64G mem running macOS Sonoma 14.2.1.  Plenty of disc space.
